On this edition of our cartoon re-cap show, we're chatting about a really hilarious episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!

The episode in question, "Here, There, Skeletors Everywhere," first aired back on November 1, 1985 and, unfortunately, doesn't feature an army of Skeletors the whole time like we were hoping. We do have a few Skeletor dupes, but it's way toward the end of the episode. We've also got Man at Arms testing out the weird cloning device on food, Moss Man hanging around naked and possibly smoking weed, Cringer getting abused, the King and Queen of Eternia dealing with weird bear/raccoon people, and He-Man towing his car out of the swamp!

Thanks so much for being so awesome and supporting Animation Damnation on Patreon! Please be sure to spread the word! Your support is what keeps this operation going! We know you have a number of choices for pods and we appreciate you spending some time with us!Original cover art by Felipe Sobreiro.

Ben Sharpe

We need a Cringer incredibe journey with his friends

RJ Cunningham

“Shit Skeletor that’s pretty brave, man” - Andrew Having some munchkins while Man-at-Arms is saying to go easy on the sweets was a strange yet harsh pang of embarrassment

I had a ton of He Man toys when I was little (born in 82). All the talk about Moss Man reminded me of the Moss Man toy. It was literally a nondescript figure, covered with a cheap felt-like material. It got gross and covered in dust and debris really quickly, haha

I was a big He-Man fan in the 80s. Watched this show everyday after school. It really hasn't held up. Some nerd shit: Man At Arms and Orko know Adam is He-Man. No one else does, supposedly. As an adult, watching it, I think He-Man and Adam are supposed to be different people or personalities. Adam is young and is like Man at Arms's student, maybe? When he turns into He-Man, he and Man at Arms talk to each other like they were in Nam together. So it's almost like He-Man existed before Adam and Adam is just the current host body, but I don't think they ever explain it. I didn't care back then, because I was 7.

The Adventures of Cringer and Otis...those poor Cringers.

MarkNM

I had Fisto. Lost his fist. Stumpo still got into some shit though.

I know they already have a ton of sideshows, but I would love to see the WHM team taste and review some of these Denny’s type movie food tie-in promotions.

Rose Esposito

I'm sorry, it's spelled "Mekaneck" and not "MechaNeck"?? That's infuriating.

Kevin Lynch

I don’t remember a villain centric episode of He-Man but I do recall at least one She-Ra episode

Kevin Lynch

And he had that weird pine smell

Rod

“Joseph Bones and the Skeletones” has been my dream ska band name for years

RJ Cunningham

It’s funny that both Adam and He-Man put on slightly nerdy sounding voices

Matzar

This ep of He-Man was such a fever dream. Those effing bears. My wife looked at me sideways when she caught me watching this shit. Best AD yet!

Lynn Campbell

When Steve said "hey that guy owes me money. Fuck him!", I legitimately almost crashed my car. The whole gang doing Skeletor voices made this one of the funniest episodes in a long time.

Jeremy Thomas

I remember listening to that he man and she ra episode back in 2013 on stitcher... I'm also a top tier patrion subsciber from day one and I saw you guys the one time you came to Seattle... I must be one of those Robert De Niro "fan" you have to look out for.

Jeremy Thomas

Also having castle grey skull and skeletor confusion was the then powers that be fucking with gen X post modern sense abilities

Matzar

Rip Moss Man
