This is the link to download the Unity package used in the tutorial LCD Shader Effect, which was released few months ago.

If you have missed it, this tutorial will show how to create a realistic shader that simulate the look and feeling of LCD displays. Developer Monomi Park has used this very technique in their game Slime Rancher. One of the most intriguing cosmetic effect that is going to be added is a special LCD shader that makes monitors look pixelated when you’re close to them. The effect was so cool that I simply had to recreate it.

As always, thank you for your support.  ♥

How would I make this texture emissive? I'm using it on a screen in a dark environment and it looks weird since it isnt.

Hi! If I recall correctly, this is based on extending a Standard surface shader. You can see here that Surface shaders in Unity have an "Emissive" field which you can use to make the material "emit" light. https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/SL-SurfaceShaders.html Perhaps you can experiment by passing the colour to that parameter as well and taking it from there! Another way might also be to make the main colour greater than 1, and using a post-processing filter to make the light "bleed" onto nearby pixels (= a bloom effect)!
