Hi everyone! πŸ‘‹

This is the third (and final!) part of the tutorial series about one of my favourite Mathematical tools: linear interpolation!

This tutorial relies on Piecewise Interpolation (covered in Part 2) to show a powerful technique that can be used to adjust and resample gradients! The tutorial focuses on colour gradients, and I hope you can see how much of a difference it can make!

There are many techniques available to work with colour gradients and colour curves. But they all tend to work on some specific predefined function. This technique, instead, can work on custom functions, and so is perfect for some more nuanced approaches!

The tutorial also comes with two downloads: the Standard package contains the script to perform piecewise linear interpolation on pretty much all of the basics types used in Unity: numbers, vectors, colours and even quaternions! The Advanced version, instead, includes a test scene, and the code to correct for colour curves and gradients!

As always, thank you for your support! I hope you will enjoy this new series, and if you have any question do not hesitate to get in touch!
