sister leveling, a man of culture i mean what

Zipzzty

BIGGEST EDGE

Zipzzty

Next Ep will be crazy tho

Qhoa

W

Maj

I just watched the ep before you uploaded this, I assume you guys will be as frustrated as I was that we got hung off a cliff once again this week 😔 Edit: Yep that was my exact reaction to the end too 🤣🤣🤣

rvsty

in this episode Jinwoo got in my nerves, he waited for 5 minutes till one of them got his hand chop-up before helping 🙄, i thought his not hiding his S-Class anymore, make up your mind, and still he is! 😮‍💨

Zipzzty

It’s alright the wait will be worth it

Seth Aasland

i’m glad we finally got to see more Mage action this episode, from human hunters that is

Pavlo

What the hell is the caption😭

Brig Andrus

We’re not sure why the camera was off so I guess I’m just taking a break from the screen today 😁

Dakota

Bro the cliffhanger at the end of this episode is the MOST diabolical ever lmao. I commented this before I watched this reaction episode after I watched the episode myself, lmao, I'm glad Carter thought the same thing. Also yeah Jinwoo doesn't get involved because its not his dungeon. He isnt a part of their guild. If he took over, then there would be huge repercussions. Also his reevaluation is the next day, not the current day. Him being an E rank, and then "reawakening" to S is a HUGE deal. Reawakening is an extremely rare thing to happen. Let alone from weakest to strongest lol. Also also, the monsters cannot leave the gate whenever they want. It takes 7 days after the gate opens for it to "break" and then they can leave the gate. The one big one that he threw the broken sword at was only out because that dungeon broke. Earlier in the episode, the healer chick got a call to come help with a dungeon because it was a low rank one and the guilds dont handle those. Those are usually handled by a rag tag group of hunters thrown together last minute. They were unable to gather enough hunters to take care of that dungeon in time, so it broke and the monsters got out.

Shadow

Solo peak

Crystal

Literally bro im a feennn😩

Zipzzty

Peak Leveling

pls_ultra

Another a week to wait omg can't wait!!!! I think the reason why jinwoo didn't help the hunters is that sung is not part of hunter's guild and also he's hiding his rank.

Zipzzty

They said if you dont clear the dungeon by a certain time frame the monsters can come to the human world

Judy

Jinwoo doesn't get involved because he thinks he shouldn't get involved since this gate is the Hunter's Guild property. It's stupid but that's how it's explained in the Manhwa and he only gets involved if he thinks someone's about to die like that healer

YangThePolarBear

boys, sung hides his rank and docent take over because "He would be annoyed if anyone butted in on a gate he bought for himself so he docent want to be too greedy" lol mc logic

Maj

I'm sure it will but the cliffhangers are so devious bro

JustAway

anyone else thinks the TV reflection on the youtube trophy is kinda distracting? I hope the boys see the comment and can reposition that thingy

1999

Anime fans worldwide need to protest and demand episodes to be 1 hour long 🤣

jrnoodles

Thank you! Again, can't wait for next week episode!

Shadow

Next week will be gas. One of the points I’m most looking forward to this season

Guy

Don't forget that they've mentioned in Season 1 that the gate has to be cleared within 7 days or the monsters will be able to come out into the real world. That's why they can't leave the gate before that even if they walk up to the entrance like the High Orcs did in this episode

Hector

The way I'm in this "can't wait next week" cycle it's driving me insane

ace

Jinwoo doesn’t feel like it’s his role/place to just take over on an A rank dungeon that belongs to another guild. He only steps in when he feels it’s absolutely necessary. He wouldn’t let them die but he’s also not gonna kill everything for them.

ace

I don’t think it’s about him hiding his rank, it’s about him not interfering with the strike team and letting them fight their own fight

Osvaldo

2 of the girls on that strike team were were in an earlier episode of season 1. They were talking in a cafe I think about which guild they were joining.

hugoruix

If I ever discover a magic cave that brings me to the future, I'm using it to be able to binge this sht. Why do we have to wait a week bro

rvsty

exactly the point, he knew that those Orcs were strong, so why not help immediately.

Shadow

Which is why I’ve read this shi twice. Patience only goes so far

Wyvern

They cut out from the manhwa that Jin Woo didn't want to interfere in the raid unless he had too, since they had to pay a lot of money for gate access and he would feel like he was overstepping since he isn't actually part of their guild. I know that they can't keep EVERYTHING from the manhwa in the anime, but I feel like it would have only taken like 10 seconds of screen time to explain this as to not cause confusion.

CoLdBITeR

I'm pretty sure the reason why jin doesn't want people seeing how he fights is because his abilities don't make sense. There are people with stealth and there is people with summons but there isn't people who can just make dead people summons. Plus each person has a set type of attack while he has sort of all of them? So people would find him questionable and might even realize that he can level up since he gets stronger each time he meets people. If he shows his hand, there is a chance people might figure it out.

Ikky

Next week is going to be a recap episode sadly.

Mads Mariager

Next week will slap so hard just wait. PEAK solo leveling!

jeekolo

8:45 fluent I see

JuancaMX

Monsters can't just walk in and out the gate like hunters can. In the first season it was explained that hunters have 7 days to clear the dungeon or a dungeon breaks occurs, which is basically the portal opening up for monsters to break out into the real world. Thats what happened in Jeju island with the ants, hunters failed at clearing it and a dungeon break occurred, now the island is inhabitable.

LuvStarburst

Why do we having to wait this long for peak shit. I'm with brig with what he said last week about waiting 6 weeks and binging everything at once.

Mr.Flakes3

Honestly wish for seasons to be longer like they used to or to at least drop the entire season at one or even just half of the season. I get why they don't, mainly for the hype of it being on a weekly basis. Even tho I have read all of this twice, I am still waiting weekly to see how it gets animated and its driving me crazy

CHIEF

Lmfao the orcs dove the back line, I can't believe it

Nah I’d win

I swear everything outside of the fight scenes is so fucking boring in this show. Characters/character development, subplots, pacing, comedy.. it’s all trash

Shadow

Better then my ranked teammates

Dalton

These constant cliffhangers are about to make me just drop the show and read it online. Like just release 2 halves.

Gunznz

how would i go about reading it? Ive seen theres like 4 different versions of it. Which one is the anime following?

Mr.Flakes3

I've read both the manwha and the light novel and personally the manwha is a good place to start reading it if you want.

Stairguy

This is worse than AOT with cliffhangers

stako

then stop watching lil bro. ur in the middle of season 2 so why are u still here

Yusuf

Where did you hear that lol.

Yusuf

nah

Stephanos Stavrou

The wait for new episodes every week for this show is insufferable.

Guy

@long ass username, it's not that deep pal. Rule of cool, that's it

Stairguy

Thanks for the reminder

Stairguy

That has to be it. His abilities are sus

codesterr

be careful though. if you start reading, youll finish it in two days lol

Hem-ehem

The way to say Jinwoo's name is just Jinoo. The "w" is silent. Another example, Jinhwan. Can just say "Jinan".

Artemipsyche

I waited to watch last week’s so I could watch them together…I was tricked

Justin Smith

You guys should react to aninews series about what was cut/missing from each episode. It provides additional context and is very good about not saying spoilers past what was shown in the episode. Edited for additional context...he makes comparisons from what was cut based off the light novel as well as the Manhwa (name for Korean manga).

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

They need to start watching kdramas so that Carter can master the Korean language. Cannon really got the best of him knowing the surnames🥶

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

Cannon does not like to hear this but i swear next week will be peak

Nah I’d win

I actually liked the art work in the manwha way more. For some reason having all this stuff animated makes the flaws more apparent that i didn’t care for or notice in the manwha & the fights were a lot more epic in that as well.

kai

love at first sniff is kinda crazy

Vlad Blue

What Jack is talking about from season 1 is a dungeon break. They mention them in season 1, but the monsters can’t exit the gate for a while after the gate appears. Idk if they said how long, you’d have to go back to season one. But long and short is the monsters cannot exit whenever they want, only during a dungeon break.

Moon

A few details that were in the manhwa but not mentioned here: - Cha Hae-in actually thought that Jinwoo might be some kind of spy from another guild when she was on the phone HAHAHA - When Kihoon talks to Jinwoo about the size of the gate, he was actually a little surprised by how easily Jinwoo was carrying their equipment haha! - Son Kihoon and his strike squad were actually REALLY REALLY scared in the manhwa. They didn't depict it the same way here, which I thought was a shame since their fear really amplified the relief when they survived the first assault and also the horror when they realised there were more High Orcs behind them - When the healer girl with the purple hair hands her will to Jinwoo, he actually tells her completely seriously that he'll keep it for now, but that she'll be the one who gives it to her family. So technically, he's saying that they'll live:)

Moon

Okay but, imagine being Cha Hae-in tho. Every single strong hunter around her makes her want to gag because they smell so bad. If I were her and I met someone like Jinwoo, you bet I'd wanna know more about him. Being interested in someone who smells nice FOR ONCE has got to be so relieving to her The Hunters Guild is currently considered to be the strongest in South Korea btw! They're the only guild in the country to have 2 S-ranks in their guild, so that contributes to their reputation:)

Moon

I believe part of the reason Jinwoo doesn't just reveal his abilities to the Hunters Guild's strike squad is because he wants to keep a low profile before they meet the boss. He knows he's strong, but as we've seen, he can be quite cautious, which is both good and bad at the same time. The manhwa and the anime don't say it explicitly, but Jinwoo probably wants to know who exactly he's going up against, and how strong they are before he drops his pretense fully. It serves as both a surprise attack, since the boss monster will underestimate him if he continues to pretend to be weaker than he is. If he really does reveal himself, he would be showing all the cards up his sleeve before he can even determine whether he's a good match-up for the boss. Right now, we know Jinwoo is an S-rank, but even then, is he stronger than the boss? We don't. It's just like Cannon says. You would doubt whether he can take on the boss by himself. So it's not totally unreasonable for Jinwoo to hide his strength until a more opportune time. BUT, it's also true that his actions will sometimes frustrate the viewers, because his cautiousness does tend to mean that he'll only take action after someone has gotten hurt.

Judy

Yesss

Ross Lerma

No it’s not. You can tell by the title

HEINDADDY

Can’t believe we dint get to see the guy all the way to the right reaction! Hes my favorite haha he’s the goat!

Sam

Why are you even watching then dude? Get a hobby instead

TT1000

Love when McKay looks at the camera as if to say ‘do you see this shit?’ to us.

Nix

SLA girls getting animated. Lee Borah 🫣

Niklas Neumann

I'm happy they made a really good job adapting the manhwa. Better than expected to be honest, but the magic and shadow soliders look kinda cooler in the manhwa.

Phoenix

A dungeon break happens 7 days after the dungeon appears.

Phoenix

Although I think you're right, I think the main reason Jinwoo doesn't do anything is because the Hunter's guild owns the dungeon. He doesn't technically have the right to do something. 14:30 supports this claim.

Fabio Oliveira

Well, it will be kinda hard to figure it out the guy who has a new extra ability every three days lmao

Rosa

Crazy how i know not even binge reading through this again would satify the itch to see this animated. I should be laughing at everyone who hasnt read this and is suffering with the cliffhangers so why am i getting edged weekly too i hate this.

Rodrigo Figueroa

I was looking for your comment haha it's so interesting seeing the differences between manwha and anime so things make a little more sense now. Thanks for these comments 🙌

Ty Tang

holy shit boys how we feeling about Luka

ace

maybe because the orcs didn’t attack right away? i’m not sure tbh but even the squad leader let the orc walk right up to him

Faris Alamin

2:45 lmfao I can't with Cannon, I busted up laughing with him just rolling his eyes. "Attack him!" Bro was just fiending for some action.

Moon

@Phoenix I mean, that's definitely one of the reasons. But I was assuming they'd bring that up again in the next episode, which is why I didn't mention it here haha. And tbf, when it comes to life or death situations, I think many people would be wondering why the profits made from a gate would matter at all if it means everyone from this strike squad will die. To others, it's prob absurd if Jinwoo doesn't help before any of them perish so I can understand them.

Moon

@Rodrigo Ahhh I'm glad that these were of some use! You're very welcome, thank you for your kind words!

YANXI

I think it’s mainly because if he were to go all out immediately, he would be questioned considering he's an E rank. He only chooses to do so if he recognizes that it's an actual threat. I mean, throughout the show, it's shown how he's been wanting to keep a low profile. The only reason why he agreed to get reevaluated and to do these missions is because he needed more money. He'd rather stay lowkey if he could.

Moon

@maxi That's true too! He does try to stay as low key as he can, in the sense that he doesn't show off deliberately if he doesn't need to exert effort!

marco

these mfs really forgot 99% of season one lmao

Nonos

Cannons funny ash talking bout jinwoo doing it for the huzz😂😂

Shadow

Need next reaction. Episode cooked so hard omg

Michael Kitten

THEY’RE EDGING US… 𝓼𝓸𝓵𝓸.

Sadman Ahmed

Cannon's aggressive eye roll and "attack him" were diabolical. He's such a Ne Zha!
