The real aura farmer is finally here

Jezza

My liege

Seth Aasland

Putting his shadow soldiers in some of the S-rank shadows really was a great choice. Instant travel solution

Mr.Flakes3

There are a few things they cut out from the manwha that I was hoping to see from that episode but maybe they will show it later idk.

Shadow

Solo peak

kai

this episode was so fawking good im honestly nervous for the rest of the season

cozo

Chimera ants not the climax of hxh... let the manga cook anime coming back in 2030

cozo

There's no combined episode actually there's just 13 eps this season

hugoruix

instant travel is so unbelievably op

Fujiie

IFYKYK is finally here. Best boy!

Rosa

wdym why even have military? the gates are still a relatively new thing and hunters are busy dealing with those. the military still has purpose elsewhere.

DW AWdAWD A

Them saying the Guild Master of the WHITE TIGER guild is turning into a wolf is gonna piss me off lmao

day 3 of commenting until they fix breaking bad s2e3 for paying members

stako

we about to witness history

LuvStarburst

What a cliffhanger to leave everyone on. Also, huge dubs for Carter saying Jinwoo needs to get with Cha Hae In

Mr.Flakes3

The things I was hoping to see are in the light novel as well and they got cut. Maybe they will show it later idk. It's not important at least but I was hoping for it

Miitei

You should include what is the issue you are having or reach out in private, I don't have any issues with that video, so it might be something with the tiers or so.

Qhoa

W

Kim Jong Un

There is also a 10 minute delay on the live stream.

Mahti

This HxH remake goes hard

OkieDoritos (Jen)

Awwwww my fav character is coming!!! Well guess he made his entrance technically. But you will hate him, then love him. Promise.

etheriousrebi

Did notice that the Goto vs Jinwoo fight went a little different than in the source. They made it seem a lot more "even" here in this episode.

GreetswithJudgement

If Choi Jong in dies, I’ll crash out. He’s epic as hell!

Enma

From what I've seen, the hour-long finale isnt happening, but I did see that we will be getting 13 episodes instead of 12.

Ladnon

Where is MOON?!

CatSandpaper

So weird when Jack says stuff like "convenient timing" when any event occurs. Like how can you enjoy watching shows with hat type of thinking.

Shadow

They tryna let goto keep some of his aura lol

Stephanos Stavrou

There are 3 episodes left. Next is one episode only. The Season Finale is March 29.

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! My GOAT is here! :')

neko

quite a few details were left out this episode, it was kinda rushed in a way

Kae D. en

Every episode is like that tbf

kai

i get what you sayin but they literally can’t add every piece of dialogue or detail its just too much for a runtime of 18 mins

Mahti

Yes they can just add more episodes or seasons, I don't mind it too much though

neko

Even with those details removed, it still felt rushed. I guess they have to end it in that cliffhanger

Cryptcat

I kinda dislike sun jinwoo's attitude towards other S ranks (the respectable ones) like sung you kinda just got lucky man

lola

peak actually incoming… one of my favorite arcs for sure!

lola

guys this season is 13 episodes… which is perfect because there’s just no way they can fit everything that happens during this arc in just 2 episodes.

Lala

Would you guys please consider watching an Anime called Orb: On The Movements Of The Earth? It is one of the hidden but best animes that came out last year. It has a high rating and only 25 episodes to finish🥹

GreetswithJudgement

It’s up there as one of my top ten favorite animes. It’s slow for some but it’s just done so damn beautifully.

Nasty

They are doing the entire Jeju island arc in this season.

Patriicia

I couldnt help myself and I read 3 chapters of Manhwa. Then I stopped because I didnt want to spoil it for myself any more😂😂

JayCnY

copium

Ross Lerma

Because that’s how it was in the novel. The manwha isn’t cannon. The manwha wasn’t done by the original author but by studio redice and the two in charge of solo let their hate of Japan influence their adaptation

Moon

To everyone who was asking where I am my bad I woke up extra late today(courtesy of 3am calls for a uni paper) BUT I'm here now and oh boy are there a shit ton of things to talk about for this episode that were missing: - Lim Taegyu, the S-rank from South Korea who specialises in long-rank combat, ended up getting crushed into the wall when he lost to the Japanese S-rank he was sparring with (as in, the wall reinforced by top-tier essence stones was literally dented into the shape of a Taegyu's body). That's how hard he got pinned HAHA - When Kumamoto (the Japanese S-rank with the eyepatch and mask) sneaked up on Hae-in, she threw her punches out of reflex. The Japanese S-ranks up in the balcony actually speculated that she punched him around 10-14 times in that instant alone. - Kumamoto actually doesn't remember what he does when he loses his temper LMFAO he just goes batshit crazy and starts beating up everyone in the vicinity, even his own teammates. - Goto Ryuji actually got a mad when he saw Jinwoo smiling at him (he told Shimizu, the Japanese S-rank healer with the twin buns on top of her had, to heal anyone who gets hurt and he specifically pointed at Jinwoo and said really confidently that Jinwoo would be needing her assistance in a few minutes HAHA) - Choi Jong-in made an appearance in the middle of Jinwoo and Goto's spar saying that "Seems like an exciting match began while I was out for a smoke." This shit cracked me out so bad in the manhwa HAHAHHA He's so goofy sometimes

Moon

More details from the manhwa cause the anime left them out: - When Goto Ryuji said he changed his mind and attacked with full power, Jinwoo actually gets a notification from the system telling him that there's an enemy in front of him with murderous intent (just like the one he got when the system forced him to kill Hwang Dongsuk and squad and Kang Taeshik back in season 1). When that happened Jinwoo thought to himself that he should stop playing around if he doesn't want another kill quest like before (Like SIR??? Playing around??? Damn) - After the spar, Hanekawa (the interpreter from Japan), tries to talk to Goto Ryuji, but the panel right after shows Goto sweating profusely all over his face, with a traumatised expression HAHAHAHA I'm guessing the anime wanted to save some of Goto's aura for the Jeju Island raid, but honestly his arrogance just rubs me the wrong way so I'll expose his sorry ass LMFAO

Valor14

To be fair, every s rank just got “lucky”. If anything he’s the only one that put in the work to get to that rank compared to them

Cryptcat

That's true, I just wish jinwoo like actually lost fights or struggled.

Moon

I'm usually pretty lenient on the anime adaptation's choices for framing and which scenes to include, but after hearing Carter say that it would cool for the South Korean S-ranks to jump out of the helicopter together, I got so mad cause THEY DID!! IN THE MANHWA!!! It was a spectacular panel, showing Jong-in first, cause he jumped without warning and scared everyone, and then the others following right after. So many amazing panels... Just gone... To everyone who hasn't read the manhwa, I highly HIGHLY recommend it for the Jeju Island arc if y'all can't wait for the next episodes to come out. It is amazing. I literally had no words to describe it. It was one of the most highly anticipated moments for readers, and had me on the edge of my seat every chapter.

Moon

If anyone is wondering why Kei, the Japanese S-rank who commands ice, is wearing that gas mask on his face, it was mentioned in the manhwa that he has the same constitution as Cha Hae-in. He can't stand the smell of hunters, and his condition is apparently a lot more severe than hers, considering that he has to wear a literal gas mask while she can go on without or with just a handkerchief. Kei speculates that it's because he's a few levels above her in power, although it's never confirmed to be true.

Moon

HELP Carter pulling out that knife and pointing it as Brig had me in stitches. You can definitely make an argument for whether Jinwoo made the right choice not to go to Jeju Island. I totally agree that it was a decision fueled by his own interests, because being near his mother IS something he decided for his and his family's good. Brig isn't totally wrong when he says that Jinwoo could have spared an hour or two for the raid. There were MANY readers who shit on him for that. That being said, there are several reasons brought up by manhwa readers, novel readers, and people who support Jinwoo why his decision is valid as well: 1. His family is ultimately higher on his priority list than the Jeju Island raid. Jinwoo has full confidence in the 16, SIXTEEN, S-ranks deployed for a single raid. His stance is that he's gauged the average strength of each of the S-ranks that are going through the spar in this episode and his interactions with them, and he thinks they're more than enough. This is fair. 2. Jinwoo is the last remaining S-rank on South Korea's mainland. Even if he didn't consider this, he could very well be the last line of defense for the place where his mother and sister live, should the raid team fail and the ants fly over. (If the raid is successful without him, even better! His help wasn't needed after all, and it proves that he's not "the only person who can pull their weight") 3. Many readers brought up the fact that just because Jinwoo is the protagonist of this story doesn't mean that he needs to be involved in everything. People in the manhwa community like to complain about an MC that takes on every possible job/quest/hunt that comes their way and somehow becomes the centre of attention because of it. They say it's boring, that the MC has a hero/saviour complex or their character is bland because the MC does nothing but fight. Well, here we have an alternative to this kind of MC. But ofc, people complain about this too. 4. Jinwoo is by no means a selfless person. He's kind, down to earth, and yearns to be stronger for the sake of protecting those he loves, but he isn't the type of person who takes on a job that he thinks others will complete perfectly fine even without him. We've already seen his waning humanity, and if he wants to spend time with his family to get over the feeling of being distanced from them because of his hunter activities, that's his right. It's neither wrong nor right, but it's his decision. No go-getter MC for us here!

Blake

Jack needs to lock in lol

ChurboiE

if he "lost any of the fights hes been in he would die? and hes struggled in a bunch of fights what are you even talking about LOL i really need you to explain how if he loses, who beats who he loses to?? you just being stupid for the love of the game idk

ChurboiE

genuinely this whole fucking season bro has been so annoying, fucking yapping non stop and this ep goes "MayBE hE Can SPeaK JApAnese" when 20 seconds ago bro said i cant understand you. and "he sent soldiers into their shadows?!?!??! since when can he do that???!?!" the fucking bare MINIMUM reactors can do is remenber a few weeks back jesus fcking christ IM PAYING FOR THIS??!?!?!?!? LOL everyone else a goat tho keep at it :|

Moon

Now, for those who think Jinwoo should have joined the raid, the REAL question is why did no one sense the crazy aura that the huge ant released from the island??? Satellites?? Sensors??? NONE OF THEM???? I'm sorry but this was a fumble on the country's part imo. How do you not have eyes 24/7 on the very island you're about to invade and raid A DAY BEFORE??? Where is the observation log?? Someone should have noticed it when it happened, and been concerned when the whole damn island lit up in terrifying, red aura! If the Hunters Association had gotten wind of it, they would have done EVERYTHING they could to get Jinwoo on board with the raid instead of giving up after asking once. This is the biggest mystery of the story tbh, not even the manhwa explained this.

Ryker

jinwoo needs to be humbled bro its getting to a point

Riley

Can't believe Jack called Choi a one trick pony--does he know that solar warlocks are busted?

Cryptcat

No need to be so mad, i still love the show. If he loses to a stronger hunter nobody needs to beat them. If he loses to a strong enemy, he can come back and win. And you can lose a fight without dying. He just needs to be humbled at least once.

Cryptcat

dang bro must be pretty strong

Cryptcat

thank god they saved goto's aura, he's top of japan right? I think his arrogance is fine. Jinwoo is more arrogant in my eyes.

DW AWdAWD A

No shot your issue was jack here lol I read the manwha and honestly I don’t remember them ever showing him putting shadows in other ppls shadows if you were gonna complain about something they said idk how it’s not Brig and Mkay talking about the leader of the WHITE TIGER guild saying he’s turning into a wolf

Moon

@Cryptcat I mean I totally get why they'd want to save his aura, cause the manhwa made it rather clear at this point how much Jinwoo scared him (which isn't a good look at all for Japan's strongest S-rank hunter). The arrogance I was talking about isn't necessarily one to do with strength. It's the fact that he was the one who asked for a spar thinking that he needs to cross fists with Jinwoo to figure out why he doesn't seem to fit the description provided about him, but apparently can't handle his opponent smiling to himself in excitement about the spar??? He acts like it's a given that he's stronger than Jinwoo when he knows next to nothing abt him, and also already acknowledged that he might be better than South Korea's other S-ranks. Was Jinwoo supposed to down play his own abilities just to maintain Goto's ego? No, hell no. If Goto wanted to spar, he should have done so with the mindset of learning about Jinwoo's true strength, not denying it and going straight to "this bitch thinks he's better than me when I'm obviously top dog, how dare he". This is the arrogance I was referring to. As for Jinwoo, I don't see how he might be considered arrogant at this point of time. He rarely underestimates his opponents, and his strength warrants the confidence he has, so I don't understand your view.

Moon

@Ladnon Hello!

JAN NARUTO

Orb somehow reminds me of Ranking of Kings and To Your Eternity. They all have a strong start and unique, emotional themes. I really like their ops and eds too, especially the ones by Sakanaction, Yama and Vaundy

JAN NARUTO

Moon's comments really motivate me to reread the manhwa since it feels like I didn’t read it properly the first time

Wwl's 314

Watched the episode, saw the cliffhanger, rushed to the patreon to see y'alls reaction.

M1GZ

Jack you’re great but you gotta stop being so confidentially wrong about everything all the time.

Wickerx Nanana

I see where Carter is coming from about being disappointed in the strenght contest between the S ranks. Well in in the manhwa it was done so much better and more epic, that's why you're disappointed cause they cut off the buildup.

Wickerx Nanana

Give Jack a break lol, he has been the most attentive and usually cooks with his speculations

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I'm genuinely curious; why are you supporting them on patreon if you don’t even like them? It’s really not that deep. If people simply watching a show is triggering this kind of reaction, maybe it's time to reevaluate your perspective.

Rouz

I assure you guys this isn’t even the best part of the show what’s going to come later is even better like this is literally nothing in comparison to the rest of the show it’s about to blow in the next seasons

Rouz

It’s fine they all had their fair share of wrong guesses it doesn’t stop on jack it’s not like they read the Manhwa

Moon

@Studio Gek I know😭 I mourn what could have been a sick perspective so it's a pity! (Still a fun episode tho)

Manny

i think season 2 has 13 episodes if im not wrong, so 3 more episodes hopefully

endo

i think he meant jack just speaks too much at least the other guys know when to shut up unlike him

izykyzi

Jack is my favorite gek :)

Skyz

It's been shown that S ranks can sense immense powers but also it has been shown that Jinwoo other supresses his true power or he needs to "power up" in a sense. It's reasonable to assume the ant can hide it's true power and also, previous raids of Jeju island consisted of some S ranks and some A ranks. This entire raid is full of S ranks and the ones from Japan are even stronger, it is a bit silly Jinwoo sat out but this is also the biggest and strongest raid yet.

Moon

@Skyz I mean, you're not wrong about that, but I don't think the ant that just hatched out of its shell was intending to suppress its aura BDHBQjhb The ENTIRE island suddenly became a red zone of danger the moment it screamed, so I'm more inclined to believe that there simply wasn't enough surveillance on the island since everyone thought they already knew what they were facing (just A-rank monsters with multiple S-rank semi bosses and and S-rank boss). Now your last point I can definitely agree with HAHA!

Rouz

Like what’s going on with these comments if you guys dislike one of the geks then maybe this channel isn’t for you. Turns out solo leveling fans are one of the worst this is a show not a religion or some kind of scared book it’s fine if they don’t guess right or pay attention

yio

nah jeju island is the best part of the manhwa

yio

@Moon I agree they should've sensed the Ant's aura explosion

yio

Jeju island arc in the manhwa is literally amazing. Would recommend any anime onlys to read it.

yio

@MSGZ Brig does the same but he actually cooks once in a while. Jack on the other hand tho...

Moon

@yio Ahaha! Thank you for validating my observation!

Rouz

Nah 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 The dragons part was the best And when those dungeon lords came out

Pudding

Oooh, I read the manhwa and didn’t remember this detail! Thats interesting, thanks!

Pudding

Keep cooking with these comments 🙏🍽 love that there’s someone highlighting the differences with the manhwa in such detail

Rouz

If he never seen the show before how could he anticipate that in important scene is about to come up . Like you guys need to chill and stop taking things for more than it’s worth

Zugo Classo

Can someone tell me what "anime screen" is with the tiers?

JayCnY

The Jack hate is getting wild. Bro slips up and they jump on him like a pack of hungry wolves. Dude has ironically always made the most accurate predictions in all their other shows. Relax.

Moon

@Pudding You're very welcome!

Moon

@Pudding Thank you so much sjbdjbsbjb I'm just happy I'm able to share these

yio

Manhwa spoilers Lowkey that's like saying s8 of game of thrones is the best season. The dragon fight is good but at that point Jin woo is so op that there's no suspense or sense of worry left for the reader. After Jeju island the manhwa goes down in terms of writing. Still enjoyable but definitely not as good as Jeju island.

yio

I'm pretty chill lol, it's not hard to point out that Jack's been clowning himself recently with all his confident yapping. I noticed the same in the code geass reactions

yio

did you mean unironically? and no he rly hasn't

JayCnY

No, ironically was the correct use. Yes, he really has.

Rouz

You did the show dirty what did they do to you like no show deserve this dirty comparison GOT s8 was garbage solo in the other hand was good and fun to watch

Rouz

And how dos that offends anyone?? Wrong guessing isn’t a crime . Also didn’t you watch the other series reactions they all confidentially wrong gussied half of them

Kesendo

1:34 bazooka??? That's gatling gun 💀

kiiturii

in that case ironically is the wrong word, but yeah I agree

JayCnY

it's surprising or unexpected that he's getting attacked despite his track record. I get that irony usually involves a sharper contrast, but it still fits.

Crow

a mind blowing episode

Terry

''When they say it'd be sick if they all jump from the helicopter, ''and that's exactly what happens in the manwha.

Michael Kitten

The other guy was being weird but he isn’t wrong about your “or struggled” part, Igris clearly made him struggle, in fact he honestly lost tbh… even he himself doesn’t even look at it as a win while constantly putting Igris above himself. Barca (could be wrong on the name) made him struggle aswell, he needed a 3v1. Baran (or whatever his name is ngl I forgot too lmao) also made him struggle. He had the right idea but he didn’t have to be all pressed and shi lol. Everyone just wants him to lose because he’s strong asf… he’s kinda like Gojo except people don’t scream “Ughhh he needs to lose!” he isn’t even the main character and he’s the strongest lol. Not to mention he’s arrogant and quite immature which is why the author doesn’t even like him (his personality is seen as disrespectful in Japan), but with allat it’s still only glaze for Gojo (me included).

Michael Kitten

Nah Joohee been wit him since he was in the mud, real keepah. Endgame.

LuvStarburst

She bailed on him the minute things got tough.

Cryptcat

i agree he struggled but the problem is there was no cost from that struggling. Like he didn't really get injured or anything. jinwoo just kinda rubs me the wrong way somtimes while characters like gojo don't rly do that. I think i like it much more when the mc isn't the strongest but thats preference.

Michael Kitten

Well that’s really because he heals immediately afterwards from leveling up lol. So between leveling up, full recovery, and potions… he’ll always be fine after a fight. It’s different from him compared to other anime shows like MHA where Deku constantly breaks himself to win a fight, yes they have Recovery Girl but it’s obviously nowhere close to the same tier of healing as Jinwoo’s System. The only way for Jinwoo to truly lose is to fight a hunter that ISNT trying to kill him… and that’s hard because he’s in a country that doesn’t have much talent compared to other countries lol. Oh btw I like anything tbh, well maybe except characters who didn’t work for their power… those are just boring (MCs).

Cryptcat

Ur right maybe one of my big gripes with the show is how easy it is to heal completely. And jinwoo to me kinda felt like he didn't work for his powers like yeah he trained but it felt he had everything handed to him midfight when he was in trouble and got incredibly lucky. Despite everythinf im saying i still gave s2 a 10 so yeah lol

Michael Kitten

Nah I still think Jinwoo 100% earned his power, the system clearly needs him alive so they nudge him with luck but he still trains like Saitama everyday lol, not to mention the brutal ways of getting that power like almost dying 3 times.
