Madara’s Lesson of the day: Generational Curses. I really love every scene with him. Especially the one where he just nonchalantly declares war on all the kages. He’s just so sick. Also absolutely love Gaara and Sasuke, though episode 204 always makes me sad because that’s when Sasuke truly slips further into the darkness. The guy who wouldn’t kill and who kept looking after his teammates was so consumed by vengeance, he only cared about getting his hands on Danzo and left them behind. Still a badass though. My man took on Kages like it’s just another Monday morning. Anyway, I love that Naruto didn’t fall for Sakura’s lies, though I blame Sai for making her believe he’s suffered most because of her. She only came up with this plan after he gaslit her into thinking she’s the biggest cause of Naruto’s pain. Also one thing both Sai and Sakura fail to understand is that Naruto isn’t purely going after Sasuke for her. Most of it is for himself because he sees a brother in Sasuke. Glad to see Brig even though it’s probably the last time!!

1. You saw Madara & Hashirama's statue back during Sasuke & Naruto's fight in the Valley of the End. 2. There was lots of foreshadowing about Itachi being a double spy in OG, for example, the secret Uchiha meetings Itachi always had to attend during the night, Kakashi asking himself why Itachi didn't kill when he easily could have done it, him stopping Kisame from going all out, etc 3. The stuff Madara was mentioning in this batch about Sasuke & Naruto being fated to battle just like him and Hashirama were was exactly what Kakashi said in OG Naruto when he went to carry Naruto after his fight with Sasuke, which shows that Kishimoto had that stuff in mind. 4. The Sage of Six Paths and him creating the moon story was mentioned in the Pain arc by Jiraiya & Pain, which is not super early, but makes sense that he saved that lore for when the Rinnegan came into play. So I'm not sure what Brig meant in the end that Kishimoto didn't have the plot & backstories in mind in the beginning.

We learned the secret of humanity at the very end of season 3 because that's when the main characters also learned. it wouldn't make sense if everything is explained early in the show because only few people on the verse know the lore, and we are supposed to learn the lore at the same time as the main characters.

@jordan: that’s just a teenager being so enraged at the injustice done to not only his people, but the person he loved and admired most (Itachi), that he felt he could only satiate this rage by having others suffer through the same type of suffering he went through. He blamed them for being complacent and ignorant of his pain. He felt they were complicit and only got to know peace because of his brother’s sacrifice, so he wanted to take that away. It’s not rational, it’s as intense as Pain destroying the leaf so they can understand his own pain. This isn’t just about revenge, it’s about grief, survivor’s guilt—which led him to his misplaced blame, and a desperation for his own brand of justice in a world that failed him. That’s all nuance. What he really does with those feelings once he gets to the leaf is what will cement him as a character, in my opinion. Sorry, wrote a lot more than I first intended.

Most women in Naruto don’t have great storylines, that’s very true. It sucks that she didn’t get into any awesome fights after granny Chiyo and Sasori as well, and Kishimoto’s excuse being that he doesn’t know how to write women definitely explains it. However another thing is also true: love never makes any sense. Still, her falling for the good looking, brooding boy at school is typical. It makes sense. Just like Naruto falling for her because he felt she was the prettiest girl at school. While some people like to pretend it doesn’t exist, the three of them did share a bond, hence what led Sasuke’s first sacrifice to protect Naruto on their first hard mission, and what led Sasuke to snap when he found Sakura injured after he’d been almost knocked unconscious from going through the curse mark when they were taking their exam in the forest. Her loving him isn’t as crazy and far-fetched as you seem to think. Some people can’t love anybody else once they’ve fallen for one person. It’s only crazy now because the person she loves has become a criminal. But it’s still not unbelievable. Personally, I think OG Naruto’s Sakura was an annoying kid who treated Naruto badly so I really don’t understand why he liked her. Shippuden Sakura’s one bad move was the one seen in these episodes. Not hard to still like her for me. Disappointed in her, but that’s it.

I dont know if it has been explained, but maybe in filler. But if you kill a Jinchiruki host with the tailed best sealed in them, they both die. But the Tailed Beast would just spawn again after a while with no host. That is why it is passed down. So killing Naruto would technically 'kill' the Nine Tails, but it would just spawn again after a while

If you kill a Jinchuriki the tailed beast just becomes reborn at a later date, like the *spoilers* from attack on titan, but the tailed beasts aren't reborn inside a human body they're just reformed at a later point in time as a lone tailed beast

Just want to say that Sasuke having these thoughts of mass murdering a general populace who are unknowingly benefiting from his entire family/community/world’s extermination is understandable and normal to have a first, it’s a very traumatic reality for him. That’s not the problem, Sasuke has had days, weeks(maybe months) to process this reality and his emotions, that he’s no longer acting on immediate impulse. He has properly gone through these heinous and undeserving thoughts and is acting on them, that’s the problem.

He learned Itachi’s backstory just to give up on Itachi’s own desired goals and aim to destroy Konoha. Man if someone killed people for me i’m not going to look at what they are trying to protect and want to destroy it like cmon sasuke knows he’s going to target civilians at that point. this is worse than revenge. Jack, because the tailed beasts are pure chakra, they cannot permanently die. If they or their jinchūriki die, their chakra will re-form in time, usually taking up to hundreds to even possibly thousands of years before their rebirth. Yes, Kurotsuchi (Old Geezers Guards) was right. If they killed Bee and Naruto Madara's plan would be put on hold for a very long time. It's implied he didn't want to do this because of Gaara's question during the summit. "When did you all forsake yourselves?"

Sakura has more of an annoying little brother connection with Naruto than anything else. She doesn’t idolize him from a distance. She grew up with him. That shared history makes her comfortable enough to speak her mind and even cross the line with him at times. Their closeness is what makes her emotional manipulation of him during that moment more realistic than bad writing. In that situation, she would rather have Naruto angry with her and let go of Sasuke than see him continue to burn emotional energy chasing someone who might never return. She couldn’t live with the guilt if the promise Naruto made to her ended up destroying him. Sakura knew Naruto had always had feelings for her and she figured it was a better outcome for him to be hurt by a lie than to carry the weight of failure for the rest of his life. From her perspective, there was no other way to gain control of the situation. That said, she also misread Naruto’s feelings for Sasuke. She overestimated how much of his pain and guilt was tied to the promise he made to her rather than Naruto’s genuine care for Sasuke himself. Most of what she had witnessed between them was rivalry and bickering. She wasn’t there for their major fights or when Naruto learned the truth about Sasuke’s past. Her actions were misguided but not unrealistic. Given her limited knowledge, the emotional stress, and her intentions, it’s not fair to call it poor writing. It’s a flawed but human response. Just my opinion, of course.

I think Kakashi might be my favorite Naruto character, especially because of his response after Madara left. He's level-headed, has been through so much death and pain, yet remains resilient. He's well-known, respected, and even feared throughout the shinobi world, but at the same time, he's incredibly chill and down to earth. The only thing is, he's said to have mastered 1,000+ jutsus, yet we only see him use the same ones.

Tailed Beast can die, but they will appear again. Such enourmos chakra cannot dissapear. This is what happened to 3-tails. Its jiinchuriki died with him inside, so it was also dead for a while but then it appeared again and that;s why It had no jiinchuriki when akatsuki came to capture it. I think the same goes for 10-tails and the sage of 6 paths too

sakura didn't even bother to speak in private with Naruto.. cmon, it looks so out of place that she decided to do this in front of all the guys literally at the middle of the street. It felt absolutely fake. I wish she used a better moment, confessed to Naruto in private, that would be an interesting story line

When I first watched this scene, I remember talking shit to Sakura on my screen because I was so applaud by what she said to our sweet Naruto. I couldn't even fully watch this scene, it made me physically cringe. This scene didn't make me hate on Sakura tho, but it definitely made me like her less. However, throughout my journey watching Naruto, I never hated Sakura, they could never make me hate her. There was definitely moments she did that made me not like her from OG to Shippuden, but not so extreme to me continuously hating on her like how the fandom does. I actually really like Sakura. After finishing this show a longgg ago time, and since then I heard many different point of views and one of them was abt this scene. Her telling Naruto that she loves him does not make her a "bop" or "manipulative bitch". She made a rash decision to try and save both of her friends from dying. She's desperately attempting to appeal Naruto's emotions by doing literally anything to get him to stay. Yes, it was childish, wrong, and irrational, but she is in fact a 16 yr old child in this arc. Of course it's misguided, she's trying to save everyone even by sacrificing her own love life to "settle" with her friend instead of the man she truly loves. And we tend to overlook the fact that it was Sai and Shikamaru's fault for guilt tripping her about Naruto that led her to make such decisions. In her mind, she was doing all that she can for Naruto to protect him. Even Naruto was able to clocked what she was desperately trying to do. I do agree that she is not written as good compared the the male characters in this show, but I appreciate how complex her character is. Again, I want to preference by saying I did not agree or support of Sakura doing this, and I do understand you not liking her for this because I was in the same boat once, but I'm just explaining how most of the fans in the Naruto fandom don't see in this perspective of Sakura or considered who influenced her to make this decision. The Sakura hate is most definitely forced in the fandom, especially in the western/american side because in Japan Sakura is one of the most popular/liked female characters in anime. It's hard being a girl Naruto fan and try to defend Sakura because 90% of the fandom is boys and most of the time they are too extreme with the hate for my liking. I also want to say that I do very much enjoy the funny memes of Yamato and Kakashi reaction to Sakura saying this. Especially Yamato, man's facial expressions kills me😂

Hi i'm catching up on your naruto reactions right now, and i need to say THANK YOU CARTER!!!! the author of naruto writes the female characters so poorly it hurts. idk what woman burned him in the past but he writes women like he hates them. It's like he starts a path for character development that never leaves the shallow end. which leaves me and other girls watching the show there to take on the repercussions or explain between the lines the complicated mess that is having a friend who you care about who is in love with you and loving the bad boy. Even the Hinata moments are so shallow and not fleshed out it's frustrating to watch. Ino could be a way deeper character and her argument with Sakura in OG was so stupid but never really explained and the resolution was never really shown. i genuinely think this author hates women, the incel of anime

Kishimoto has outwardly expressed that he feels his writing of women characters is completely sub par. He has a wife and children though so calling him incel is a bit stupid. If you know what any mangaka's daily life is like you'd know that they are essentially forced to work as shut-ins with barely any time to sleep or take breaks or even see or spend time with their families. It shouldn't be surprising at all if someone took trauma earlier at a young age and wasn't able to reconcile it within themselves in the midst of this "lifestyle" that lasted about 20 years of his life since that young age. Women have screwed with my life as well but I wasn't essentially stuck in a house for 20 years afterwards so I was able to deal with and heal from it. The guy didn't have time to focus on himself or his family, almost nothing but drawing and figuring out where the story would go on a weekly basis. Similar logic can be extended to all the brother themes in this show, as Kishimoto and his brother also once had a falling out and aren't on speaking terms. While I feel you and I agree his writing of female characters is lacking and frustrating at times, you don't have to make it an attack on him just because you think he hates you and all women personally. You try to come across as if you know how he thinks but pass judgment on his character before even trying to understand. That is sad. Obviously I am not him so I do not know how he thinks either, but I have made the attempt to understand why it's this way
