Anya

Loving the diverse content y'all be doing lately! LA side🔥

Pudding

Ok ok I see everyone hyping up this movie I don't know anything about reaaaaal good in the comments.. (especially Cannon😂). You convinced me, I'll watch it.

Pinkk

OMGGG I CANT BELIEVE IT !!

astroplace

i've been here since the og aot reaction days and ive been loving it ever since 💖

jblakk

Im glad y'all liked RRR. In that case add Bullet Train to the list lol. Im doing a disservice to both films by comparing them but I definitely think they scratch the same itch of hype unadulterated fun action set pieces.

6

Such profound irony in someone like Jack saying, "rat Britsh Empire".

Vanesa

I find the voice acting for America or British actors is always off in foreign films. I noticed in a Korean movies where they had American actors it just sounded strange.

PST3

I didn't expect the Geks to watch something so different. Pleasantly surprised.

6

This shouldn't even need to be said, but this movie is not even close to reality.

kiiturii

I'm like 30 minutes in and the voice acting is actually driving me nuts, why does it have to be dubbed over? It feels so off lol

GreetswithJudgement

My twin is joining Gek Patreon now just to watch it 😂

Kim 555

What’s an RRR

Kim 555

Is this that crazy ass indian movie 😭?

Killian Regenscheid

PLEASE watch the Mission Impossible films!! You guys would love them

LET'S FREAKING GOOOOOI

Goldyz

Bro didn’t watch the intro

Elle B.

Love this movie and your reaction! So much heart in it and triumphant moments. Once you post this on youtube, the comments will def explain the history, culture, and character moments you may not have understood so be sure to read them!

Abhinava Arasada

Need a taare zameen par or 3 idiots reaction frfr

RH

Definitely. One of the most entertaining movies of this decade (if not all time)

ROSS

yall should watch baahubali next if interested. Has a similar type of epic/sick movie. Honestly gives similar vibes to lotr's epicness

farkzzy

this is the craziest thing ive ever seen

kiiturii

did you watch the intro? They swap to hindi after 16 minutes. Both versions are dubbed.

kiiturii

I did some googling and apparently hindi isn't even the original language so that does make sense. Weird that Netflix (and apparently most streaming services) don't offer the original language, only the bad dub overs

Spoons

Btw the song for the dance sequence won the Oscar for best original song

6

Ressentiment

riahhh.

Can u guys watch the Jurassic World Series

Unfixedsj

Thank you for exposing more people to the greatness of RRR!

Aden

Another goated movie

Riley

fr

Ashley K

Wasn’t the director of this movie the one that said Parasite was boring lol

Conk

not wrong tbh

Alan

Yeah if toppling a tyrannical government with a couple of burning sticks and bikes doesn’t get you riled up idk what will

Vinny Deluca

Yeah this movie is absolutely GOATED in the most literal sense. Easily in my personal top 3 of all time

Vinny Deluca

Agreed Bullet Train is also incredible

Vinny Deluca

Y’all should def also watch Bullet Train. Not as good (but what is) is also an incredibly fun/enjoyable movie. Was way better than anyone expected it to be

AKINORI

waaaaait!!! I've been waiting this for a long time!!!

Kayya Rainey

I believe you guys would enjoy Kill (2023) !!

farkzzy

yeah might be the best movie ever

JoLen

LOAD. AIM. SHOOT.

kiiturii

lol that actually explains a lot if that's the case

Manny

never in a million years would I have expected this but period

Angad Kang

alright.... you should watch BAHUBALI next, made by the same writer and director (SS Rajamouli) and to start your journey with bollywood you should go with 3 idiots and taare zameen par not action but great cinema........... (More tollywood - KGF 1&2, Pushpa 1&2 both of them with epic and over the top action that you would have never seen)....also when you will watch indian movies you will see songs and musicals appear out of nowhere....its been a long tradition in indian movies cause they always want to pack everything for the viewer in the a movie for total entertainment.........well it might be weird at first but you will get used to it and will enjoy it....I sometimes do and don't but its good

Bob Loblaw

Budget was like 77 million USD. I LOVE this movie I made my girl watch it with me and SHE loves this movie and she showed it to her mom and SHE loves this movie.

Pinkk

This is one of my favorite films ever. I remember the length intimidating me, but I was never bored once. I recommend you guys watch ‘The Raid’ movies at some point.

zaphyre

Never in a million years could I have thought I'd wake up to an RRR reaction notification, what the hell lol. That being said, it's really fun how you guys end up introducing so many random people to new stuff because they just want to watch along with you for the first time. It's been a hot minute since I've watched this movie but I loved it when I first watched it, like it shouldn't work because it's insane but somehow it really does lmao

Goldyz

You’re correct, I concede in shame

PST3

The director Rajamouli (he was in the end credits song) has had some of the biggest box office successes in Indian cinema while also getting good reviews. I feel his works are more appealing to a Western audience as he cuts out a lot of the fluff in Indian movies. Like even the songs are used for story telling.

Charybdis

Best 3 hours of my life ong

C2-H5-OH

From a long term Indian patreon sub, never ever would I have expected this notif from you guys. Peak timeline

Sibi

The voice over is like that because it's originally filmed in a different language called "Telugu". you guys watched the dubbed version. it was dubbed into many Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, etc. The one you guys watched is the Hindi dubbed Version.

PST3

The Telugu release was poorly executed, they dubbed Telugu over the English actors original audio with poor voice acting. While the Hindi version which Netflix used didn't have these issues.

PST3

RRR director is into action movies.

Sibi

I see, didn't know that. I watched it in Tamil. The dub quality seemed to be good, and they didn't dub the English actors. Had no idea about the original version.

JoLen

I don’t think I’ve seen you guys this hyped EVER. I’m so glad you loved it, this movie is absolute peak. My friends and I watch it once a year when we hang out (we call it RRR Night and order pizza), it’s a tradition at this point

JoLen

The weird voice syncing just adds to the experience tbh. And I’m glad they mix English and Telugu

RK

Some lore about the movie Main characters Ram and Bheem is based on freedom fighters “Alluri Seetha Rama Raju - uses bow and arrow and attacks police stations to get their weapons” and “Komaram Bheem”. Around 1920s they both left their hometowns to travel around India and came back after some months or years and started freedom fighting. But there is no historical proof that they both met during that time or before. So director used that blank period and created this fictional story. Also Seetha Rama Raju is named after Indian mythology god Rama who also uses bow and arrow and his wife name is Seetha

JoLen

Ok now next time Brig visits, make him and the Gek Girls watch it

RK

One movie suggestion from same director “eega”. Eega means a fly. He made revenge story with fly as main character. This movie has excellent vfx. Also Bhahubali 1 and 2 from same director

Ushna Seeam

The battle at the end of the first movie is Helm's Deep level for me, tbh.

Flubbedsquid

Just in case someone didn't comment already (they probably did but I'm not going through the entire comment section) Yes, Komaram Bheem and Ram (real name Alluri Sitarama Raju) were real revolutionaries. This is a HEAVILY fictionalized account, as the two were active in different periods and never met. And yea this is basically the equivalent of Avengers for bollywood, these are basically the biggest actors in India.

GreetswithJudgement

Just finished watching your reaction. Too many highlights from you guys. Thank you so much for watching it!

Alli

You guys should check out slumdog millionaire if you haven't seen it. It's amazing.

Alexa

I'm so glad you guys enjoyed this as much as I did. The vibes are truly immaculate with this movie. It was also my first Indian film and I was BLOWN AWAY. Literally one of the most enjoyable things I've ever watched. If yall in the comments are unsure just try it. I went in blind too!

Alexa

I want Brig and the Ladies to watch this too. CARTER PLEASE OMG

Rebecca

LMAO this was such a random drop, but i loved how ridiculous the action was - the bromance montage was my favorite

Frosty

Any Robert Eggers movie 🙏

Datta

I’m so glad I gave this a chance lmaoo

Marcus

if you know what the head wobble means the movie becomes a lot better haha

bondbond53

Tf how is Parasite boring

floo

I would recommend The man from nowhere is really good korean action movie (2010) that inspired John wick

Ashley K

That’s what I wanna know

Akshith Macherla

I’m Telugu and I’m so happy u guys watched this movie

Ninjinzo

No shit it’s a movie

Kesendo

Bheem refusing to kneel was too epic 🔥

RK

they both are big stars used to do only regional films in telugu language and has mass fan following. But the director SS Rajamouli did a movie Bahubhali part 1 and 2 which became massive hit in entire India and opened path for all other movies to release India wide and some worldwide like this film. Now Both these stars along with some other stars who only do regional films started releasing films India wide and some other countries.

beannie

this movie is pure insanity😭 one of your best reactions for sure!! cannon stopped breathing for like a whole minute during the fight in the forest lmao😭😭😭 When this movie came out it was literally EVERYWHERE, the naatu naatu dance went viral and they even performed it at the Oscar’s, they were kinda robbed ngl, they only won best original song that night, everything everywhere all at once was the biggest contender for every category, which is another INSANE film, pls give it a chance someday!!

KrispyKenny

This entire reaction was so good I was smile crying the whole way through on every scene 😭

Aziz Razak

You should check out the raid

UnKay

Somehow I thought you already watched this 🤔

akhamster

Im so glad you guys watched this movie! this is like one of my favorite of all time! If you want to watch more aura farming look up Bahubali, its directed by the same guy as this one.

vicc

These 3 hours flew by!

Ushna Seeam

I had watched half of the movie before but could not get around to finishing it, so I’m glad I got the chance to watch the full movie with you guys! And while I enjoyed it, I honestly had more fun watching your reactions! 😂😂 So good! If you’re open to watching more Indian movies, I’d recommend Bahubali 1 and 2, as many people already have. They are almost LOTR-level epic, even more so than RRR. Another epic one is KGF (especially the first movie), I feel like you’d really enjoy the main guy and the fights! 😂 A personal favourite is Rang De Basanti, it’s a movie about Indian freedom fighters (like RRR) but with a twist! If ever you do watch it on the channel, I’ll go crazy!

Shika ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱

you guys should fs try KGF if you guys liked this its also action its pretty good

jemmy

WHATTTT

jemmy

Yall releasing bangers after bangers

C2-H5-OH

Re: Cannon's disclaimer at the beginning: From a long term Indian sub, way back from your AoT S1 days, I can very confidently say that the disclaimer is not needed. Anyone who has watched you guys long enough knows the wholesomeness that follows. There is 0 chance that these boys will ever say something that comes off as offensive on purpose. Their very nature is indicative that their questions/observations from other cultures come from curiosity, never malice. So far, they have consumed content from the US, Japan, Korea, and now India and have shown no bias towards/against any single one. I'll even add that for younger viewers in school/highscool, they are worthy of being the standard for empathy and understanding of a fellow human that you should aim for. This is coming from an older guy who falters at that even today

Vanesa

Are we making movie recommendations again how about some horror The Faculty The Conjuring Annabelle Amityville

Cannon Andrus

This is like the nicest comment I’ve ever read 😭❤️

Angad Kang

Can absolutely vouch for that as another day-one Indian sub — there was nothing even remotely offensive. The Geks have always been genuine, curious, and incredibly respectful. Loved the reaction as always!

C2-H5-OH

It comes from facts, not glazing. I'd need another 20 paragraphs for glazing lol

Monalisa

The song Naatu Naatu won an Oscar for best original song btw!💯🔥

༒Ame༒

Literally the most iconic movie ever

Guy

Charybdis

Still thinking about this movie. My goats Ram and Bheem 🔥. I hope you guys watch some more Indian films in the future.

Christine

This is the first time I've seen this movie in full 🥹👏

jrnoodles

Thanks! I expected to hate this movie and I was right, I did not like it at all. Thanks for providing different and unique content though. It's nice to broaden your audience and content.

AKINORI

I’m exactly one of those people who fell in love with Indian movies after watching RRR, Baahubali, and KGF!!

Billie

DANGAL PLS

Ninaly

That was my first time watching this movie and an Indian movie at all and what. the. fuck. What an incredible experience, the action sets were mindblowing but what really made it shine was the characters (Ram!) The couch made the watching literally twice as fun, this was my favourite movie reaction ever from you guys and I think that'll stay extremely hard to beat.

Zipzzty

Biggest Aura farmers in Fiction: Season 4 Eren Satoru Gojo Sung Jinwoo Ram Raju

LionBro

I don't know if you already know this, but the evil woman is played by Alison Doody, who played Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Isiah Paul

I second that, loved that movie growing up

Isiah Paul

That was one of the best reactions I've seen ♥️, so glad I found yall in 2023!! I was literally and getting hyped through the movie too🔥 thanks boys!

San

Guys if u wanna watch aura building. Bloody mascara. Super duper anime style. Watch kgf. Chapter 1 and 2. Literally aura farming. Also just a heads up. Indian movie usually are anime like. It's mostly about how can you make the characters aura farm. Usually action. And sometimes the physics won't make sense but if u just think of it as anime. It will be normal.

Vara Haneesh

watch Bahubali part 1 &2 and also Salaar part 1

SohamJ

I thoroughly enjoyed rewatching the movie with you guys! While the movie's main theme is about patriotism, there's deeper references to some of the Indian mythological works which Jack asked about. Lord Ram (who used a bow and arrow) and Seetha are from Ramayana, and Bheem (known for his immense strength) is from Mahabharata. In one of the scenes where Ram is working out in his jail cell, he cites a shloka (verse) from Bhagavad Gita - You have a right to your duty, but never to the fruits thereof. These three are perhaps the most well known and important literary works in Hinduism. I loved how they referenced these throughout the movie.

fairy

Next Three idiots please

SlamboHamburg

That was the fastest 3 hours of my life haha I'm glad I watched this with you guys lol

TY

First time watching this. Did enjoy it! And yes, watching the movie on Netflix while watching your video on my phone (:

Khushi

I feel bad that they didn't get the symbolism. If you guys will read this comment...... Their names (Ram, Seetha (Sita) and Bheem) are taken from our Indian Hindu Scriptures...... These are famous names from our history. Lord Ram and Sita are from "RAMAYANA" epic that happened around 13,000 years ago. Lord Ram were the best archer (he had divine archery skills, he never missed his target. The story went that he was the king of Ayodhaya which is still in North India. Before Ram, his father (King Dashrath was the king) Ram had four brothers and his father had three queens. Because Ram was the eldest and the most skilled son, he was announced that he will be the King. But before he was about to be given the throne, one of the three queens (who was given a promise by the king to fulfil any one of her wishes before) asked the king to send him for an exile of 14 years in the forests because she was jealous and wanted her son (Bharat) to be the king. Ram, being a very obedient son, went because his father asked him to do so. When he was getting ready to go, his wife (Ma Sita) and his younger brother (Lakshman) decided to go with him. Three of them went to the far forests and lived there with no money, made their own wooden and leaves shelter. Mind you Ram and Lakshman were known for their archery skills and Sita was known for her beauty. She was so beautiful. Everyday Ram and Lakshman would go to find food and Sita would wait at home and cook meal for them. Then one day when both of them were outside far away, The king of Lanka (Raavan) came and kidnapped her (why?, that's a whole different story) and took her to Lanka (where the country, Shri Lanka is right now). When Ram and Lakshman found out about this, they went to Lanka (Lanka was made of gold at that time, you can imagine how powerful that king was) to save Sita. This whole thing took them a year. Ram went and killed 95% of his army single-handedly with his bow and arrows. It was said that "Once his arrow left his bow, it would come by ripping the opposites' heart. (symbolizes the precision) That is why Ram in this movie is shown the best shooter, he never misses his target even when he's not looking at his target. There's a movie upcoming in 2026 names 'Ramayana' on this epic true story of Lord Ram. Please react to it whenever it comes. It is going to be the biggest and the best production India will ever make. You should check the trailer and the video that tells the budget and where VR effects are coming from. I'm literally so excited. I'm gonna go and watch it in cinema. For Bheem, this famous name and character is from the epic "MAHABHARATA". It happened around 5,500 years ago. Lord Krishna was around this time. This was the bloodiest and the biggest war of all times. (not one of the biggest, but The Biggest, Mahabharata). This war happened for Dharma (righteousness). It was between Pandhavas and Kauravas (Pandhavas:- five prince brothers of Hastinapur) (their names are:- Yudhishthira, Bheema, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva) (to pronounce the names correctly of these fives, 'a' at the end is silent) Yudhishthira was the eldest and truthful, very righteous. His weapon was a spear. Bheema was very tall and had mighty strength in his body. He was basically physically the strongest in the war, Arjuna (he and Lord Krishna were the main characters of this war). Arjuna was heroic and master of archery. Best archer of that time. He also never missed his targets. He is also called Gudakesha (It's a Sanskrit name for the one who has conquered sleep, means he even mastered archery in complete darkness, with only sound, full precision) and also Savyasachi (means master of both hands, he could use his other hand as well, and that of never missing his target). There are other names of him as well. Then the fourth brother is Nakula. He was the most handsome out of all of them, and expert swordsman. Then fifth and last brother is Sahadeva. He was very wise and an astrologer. It's not that they didn't have any weapons to fight. All five of them had different weapons they mastered. Now their opposition. They were fighting against their 100 cousins (sons of their father's older brother). They were also the princes of Hastinapur. Kauravas were very Adharmic (unrighteous), The eldest of them all was Duryodhana. He was very cruel. He and his younger brother (Durshasana) tried to disrobe Pandavas wife in the royal court and beat her brutely. She vowed there in the court that she will be reason of their deaths and that her husbands will kill each of them. Pandavas also took the vows of how they're gonna kill each of them. Now, because that time cruelty was on its peak, it was not the matter of just the brothers now. They went to different kingdoms and asked for their help. Same with kauravas. This is how millions of people died. Only 5 of the Pandavas and Lord Krishna left out of all the people in the battlefield. So, this why Bheem in this movie is so strong and was shown fighting with the tigers and all. There were multiple times where they addresses the scenes from Ramayana and Mahabharata in this movie. Like when Bheem told Seetha that he will bring Ram back even though he have burn Lanka (real gold Lanka was burnt into ashes during the Ramayana, there are multiple evidences of this happening actually. I'm not beating around the bushes). Also when Ram talks about "only doing the duty and not thinking about the results, and let not attachment distract you." This Shaloka (verse) is taken from the holy book, Bhagavad Gita. It includes every piece of advice Lord Krishna gave to the third brother Arjuna during the war Mahabharata. Because Arjuna suddenly said he did not want to fight his teachers, brothers, their brother's sons, his uncles, and his people, who were in opposition as they were serving the Kingdom Hastinapur. Lord Krishna told him to do his duty as a Kshatriya (warrior) and not think about the results. This was his one of the sayings. Now people read Bhagavad Gita and apply it in their lives. These three holy books are available online or you can also buy them if anyone wanna read..... But I hope now it makes sense for the movie for you....

louis10969

Literally just came back from the theaters where there was a special screening of this movie and now I'm putting on your reaction because holy shit this was the best cinema experience of my life
