She was being a brat, but he does have to understand her life and how she’s not a normal child to raise. All of her emotions are going to be 100 times worse. But if Elle wants to be normal she does have to learn to deal with responsibility and consequences. In the end hopper had a reason to be upset but he cant string her along he has to make progress.

Yeah and she spent most of her life in captivity. So from her perspective she's gone from one prison to another. This one is obviously a major improvement but she still doesn't have any agency. Keeping her isolated was never going to work long term. She's too traumatized. Plus any teenager would go a bit crazy after a year in a cabin in the woods 😂

Yes exactly, that’s why I love their dynamic because hopper is the logic, Elle is pure emotion. I’m sure he would’ve went through a similar phase with his own daughter over something simpler lol. But the stakes are high here.

In the beginning you guys were talking about expensive hobbies, I just got back into pokemon cards and omg I've already spent like 200 on binders and cards and stuff. I just got a prismatic evolutions box with 14 packs for $57 and got basically nothing good out of it 😭😭

That’s good to know. I think I just don’t like HOTD generally. I don’t care for the royalty, and none of them are characters I care about too much. They all suck, which is the point as George intended but the whole green/black discourse is SO juvenile. The fans online are also weirdly juvenile which is totally against the story? So yeah not really super interested in the royals who all suck but I love the dragons lol. (It’s still a fun show to watch) edit: Also some parts of the show are just cringe. It’s all the aspects are too try hard to be feminist or push a certain agenda, which I think is probably different from the original version from Martin. I’m definitely way more excited for the seven nights
