This is the mistake almost every content creator makes, they try and branch out in too many areas, especially areas they aren’t known for. There are some exceptions of it working but 99% of the time, it doesn’t. This isn’t just true for content creators, it’s true for major companies too. That’s how you get the Amazon fire phone or the Microsoft zune. You guys blew up on YouTube thanks to anime reactions. Reacting to live tv shows was successful as well because it was adjacent to it. Gaming is too far of a leap. It might make sense that people who watch anime would also be into gaming but you guys aren’t known for being gamers. Some small percentage of your viewers might support you no matter what but if they want games, they will go and watch the gamer streams and videos they already built a trust with. I may have a dentist that I trust with my teeth but I don’t want him performing heart surgery on me. My long winded post is just to say, if you guys are trying to grow, these gaming streams and videos are a complete waste of time. You can’t take your big reaction audience and try and compete with the big time gamers because you won’t be able to compete. Your twitch streams would be magnitudes bigger if it was adjacent to your reactions, like reacting to content made about anime or memes about anime or whatever shows you are watching.

cozo

fax tbh, that's why their anime openings streams or kpop reaction streams get wayy more viewers. they'll see way more success in streaming if it's also still reaction content

Darren J

I think it's just another channel for games and fun. I don't really see it as branching out and they definitely aren't forcing it on anyone. This is a valid take though.

Cannon Andrus

We have kept up posting more reaction content then almost any other reaction channel, and we want to branch out into gaming and we already have been offered with some really cool opportunities from it we can’t share with everybody yet. Respectfully, your message is more tailored for people stopping content that works for pursuing something else. That’s not what’s happening. We’re keeping up with the same amount of content we’ve always done and now started something on the side that we love to do.

kami

I think they're just combining the useful with the pleasant, they're already gamers and are simply streaming while doing something they enjoy. I believe growing an audience on top of that is just a bonus. It would be a bad idea if they abandoned or reduced content on their other channels to invest in this, but that doesn't seem to be the case

kami

So does that mean you're gonna show Cannon throwing your games for the whole world to see?

McKay Carter

It sucks that you are calling this a mistake but we’ve really enjoyed it so far!

Vextipher

After y'all are done with Marineford you could recreate it with your viewers in Minecraft. A "what-if" scenario and see how it plays out - similar vein of Ish's Minecraft Civilization. Regardless, hope y'all have fun with what you're going for!

Pulse rifles suck in pve

Definitely agree. I know Jack started playing but i'd kill to see them all play and witness whats probably the best story ive ever seen in any media. Normally I really don't care for the story in games but this one is pure cinema

StandedJosh

Good colour choice. Idk if it was intentional but reminds me of nvidia

stako

hope you guys enjoy the vid!

Dio

Facts they all need to experience it. Have someone play it like on the PS5 so they could be in the usual react spot. It’s so peak

Spidey

I don’t mind it in the least, they are going to play the games anyways why not let other people in on it? They don’t have to be a pro gamer to make content, if you like them enough in the reactions it’s usually because of how they think and act, which can be translated over. I’ve personally had a great time watching the streams even on league which I’ve never played + playing the mc server is genuinely so fun. The channel doesn’t affect you so why are you hating on it?

𝕯𝖎𝖆𝖓𝖆 𖤐

What a party pooper, they been gaming for over a year with no impact in their anime channel, they do all of this for fun and we like watching them game its just safe to assume people that don’t make it to the streams all the time does too. I know they are gonna be successful!

stako

i just made it green cus i always associated Gaming with green

GB3

If you guys are doing it strictly just for fun and nothing else, that’s perfectly ok. But if you guys are doing the gaming thing trying to grow, then it’s a gigantic mistake and waste of time.

im__JAM

Please fix one piece 418-421 its not viewable on lower tier even if we can watch up to 433!!
