kei hishaku

EARLY DROP JUST AS IM ABT TO EAT LFGGG

Lothbrok

LFG, BINGE NEXT??

cozo

bleach before gek news?

Chosos Wife

Lets go 🔥🔥🔥 also has there been any update on if we're gonna get the mha final episode reaction at any point?

Musoko

I'm assuming the Wednesday referred to at the start was last Wednesday?

Xen0n

I think its a filler episode

dotsae

LETS GO

ooAlmondMilk

That scarf is worth 10 mansions (yes, MANSIONS) in the Seireitei btw

kai

kenpachi never minded he the birthday fr!

alex

we dont want a binge. WE NEED A BINGE!

Ayoodude

👏👏👏👏

Ninjinzo

they already commented on this. They said they wish to a binge if they could. But they can't because of their tight schedule and doing a binge would ruin it.

Gage

Renji my dog, my soldier, my goat!!

Pharaoh

I absolutely cannot wait for the next double

Ichigoat

Wednesday is gonna be so peak, can’t wait!!!!

Gage

I’ll receive byakuya’s big bankai anytime.

Sage

Random comment but McKay and jack you gotta get them to watch dragon ball one day. Especially since the dragon ball super retelling and galactic patrol are coming out soon

kai

renji you’re bones thinking you could challenge your captain is crazy 😭

kai

oh! well get in line im first

llB0JANGLESll

Damn they were supposed to watch 52 and 53 together. They were aired together in Japan on the same day which they rarely ever did. 😭 I guess they didn’t see the message about this. I know they would’ve preferred to watch it how it was intended. Oh well

Jeff

THESE EPISODES LITERALLY ARE OVER IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE. The rewatch is god tier.

mathiasmedswag

The Ichigo and Renji parallels at the end are so good🔥 And damn yall got to see pretty much every captain this episode👀 Wednesday boutta cook so hard, i cant wait😭 Also i have commented this before but Shunsuis voice actor is actually not Kizaru, he is the voice of Thorkell, Blackbeard, All for one and Uvogin from hxh, but i can see why you think that cause they kinda have the same demeanour.

eiden

I’m just here to mention again these video descriptions sometimes are a bit spoilery for people who first time watching (maybe my fault but eyes just always spot it)

eiden

Ty for the reaction!

tami

well you should start watching buddy

Tristan Naughton

The hype coaster continues to climb enjoy the ride

ThirtyStik

Renji got put into a Domain expansion 😭

Mack

It’s peak bro

Mack

U like that dude bruh he a bum

Mack

Nooo Cannon missing out peak

tami

what carter is saying is real about the training arcs. I've always loved the training arcs in bleach its super efficient and quick and it's alway something new. It's always lowkey spiritual with ichigo like when he was fighting with urahara and now against zangetsu where each blade is a piece of himself

AdustNinee

I'm so excited for the future

Alex Ramirez

I LOVE KENNYYYYYY HE'S THE GOAT

Iryn Ashwood

Loving this series of reactions, especially since it got me to go back and watch Bleach again on my own for the first time in ten years. I did want to note some things about Ichigo's sword being unique- it's already been stated that his sword is in a "constant release" form, so when other people have the first normal sword stage, and then the released stage where they change into more unique shapes, Ichigo's sword is just constantly in it's second stage. Also, the first stage for Ichigo's sword was likely how it looked at the start of the series, before he unlocked his own Soul Reaper powers. From what we've seen, the first stage is always a fully white blade, with them all looking rather similar regardless of person- but the second stage makes the blade black with a white edge, which we also see in Ichigo's sword.

KenpachiKam

brutal miss for the homie cannon

Kmoney

Byakuya is him poor renji he tried his best

Kyle King

I NEED you guys to watch more at a time or more frequently. These upcoming fights are so good

Amare D.

Ichigo me father

Kurofi

The music during Byakuya's Bankai always gives me CHILLS!!

Ayoodude

🔥🔥🔥 these coming episodes are gonna be awesome

tami

cannon you better lock in before the wednesday drop!!!

Destiny

Finally, senbonsakura kageoshi 🙂‍↕️🌸

Destiny

Iba hitting that slide on literal hands and knees was unexpectedly fire lol

tami

byakuya's bankai is so iconic i remember watching this when i was 7 and getting so hyped i used to yell bankai senbonzakura kageyoshi all the time 😭😭😭😭😭

Sari-chan

Cannon missing two bankais..smh

Sari-chan

Why does this sound dirty!! I need to get my mind out of the gutter

Janae

34:55 - and despite all of this, not an inch of hair was lost

Janae

“I just swore it on my soul” goes unbelievably hard

Ram.

No offense but watching someone else's content for the first time reacting to official releases is kinda illegal and immoral. You should be paying to watch the content from the creators. Not paying streamers to watch the content without some sort of compensation. When watching with official streaming sources, the studio who makes the anime gets a % of funds from say Crunchyroll when you subscribe and watch. But paying GEKs to watch Bleach for free means the creators of Bleach get nothing from your watch, it's kinda like pirating.

GBuckets

Couldn’t take it i had to rewatch this arc by myself

tami

okay putting in the volume poems up to the episode you guys are up to, carrying on from last time (volume 11) Volume 12 - Aizen on the cover We think a flower on a cliff is beautiful because we stop our feet at the cliff's edge, unable to step out into the sky like that fearless flower. Volume 13 - Kenpachi on the cover Every time we set aside our pride we take a step closer to becoming beasts. Every time we kill an emotion we take a step back from becoming beasts Volume 14 - Hanataro on the cover Creak, creak, tower of purgatory Piercing the world like light Sway, sway, tower of spine Will it be us or the sky that falls? Volume 15 - Kira on the cover (gin's lieutenant) I just keep practising Saying goodbye to you Volume 16 - toshiro hitsugaya (short white haired captain) on the cover The mane of the sun pouring down Erases the footprints on thin ice Do not fear deception The world already lies atop deception And that's all you guys are up to so far! My favourite of these here is Kira's. With aizen's a close second. If there are any other translations let me know and if these are anyone's favs!!

DCMH

Marathon pls

Ayoodude

He needs to solo react

kuza

BLEACH

kuza

damn no full couch 😫😫

Alexander

Yeah Cannon definitely needs to be there on Wednesday the next batch is absolute peak. (When isn't it? lol)

Alexander

Rewatching this with yall is showing me just how cinematic the directing for Bleach was even way back in the early 2000s. The music was always peak but the angles the parallel shots and transitions are all so good

Alexander

Nah ending on ep 54 is gonna leave them so much more hyped

Lettuce

He HAS to, such great moments

Ben Everest

May be mistaken but I think they explained why ichigos base sword is bigger than other soul reapers, don't want to spoil tho if not

Kathleen Adams

They did early on, back before Rukia got taken to Soul Society

Nifty

It's always a good episode when my goat Kenpachi is on the screen being a menace making everyone he comes across seem like child's play.

Llamadolphin

🎵If you want to see some action🎵

DarynkaD Bleach

Hi, everybody). (eps 42-49) Some manga moments that did not make it into the anime: 1. The speech Mayuri gave to Uryu about his experiments on Quincies was censored. 2. Mayuri's bankai translation: Golden leg-cutting/killer of small creatures(a double meaning of the Japanese characters) Jizo(is the name of a Buddhist deity who is the protector of children). 3. They cut the part where Mayuri calls Nemu his daughter. 4. The backstory of Renji, Kira, and Momo: The Soul Reaper Academy is around 2,000 years old.

Herber

He missed peak !!!

Diable Jambe Flores

Alright I don’t ever get on here to demand anything more than what we get. This one time I will humbly and politely ask for a double drop next week to finish out the arc. That’s the best way to do Bleach and this arc justice. Just like when you guys did a double for Pain Arc, doubled up on Marineford. It would only be 8 episodes, all of us in the Bleach fandom would highly appreciate it. -Respectfully Diable Jambe Flores

DonDuh103

I haven't seen this ep what u mean Renji has fallen??? He die???

Enma

Dropping your sword and having it disappear as it touches the ground and then a thousand bigger blades appear and then each of those blades break into thousands of more blades. That shit is so fucking sick man. And the name is also just cool as hell, Bankai Senbonzakura Kageyoshi - Vibrant Display of a Thousand Cherry Blossoms.

86 LilaS

I never thought cherry blossoms were manly until Byakuya

Ben Everest

Ichigos Base Zanpakuto was huge because he had no control of his spiritual pressure

Kai-lo

For some context to how characters can take a lot of damage and still move. People with a strong life force in this show are able to take more damage compared to others you've seen in different anime. That's how Ichigo and Kenpachi were able to stay alive long enough to get healed.

Enma

Dude everytime Cannon leaves, something awesome happens 🤣🤣

eiden

I have a crunchy roll membership, Hulu,Netflix.I watch the anime on a main monitor, and then have them on the second most the time. But tbh even if it was the case I don’t think it’s immoral and definitely not Illegal.

Grady

Watching bleach in dub made it so easy to remember names.

Michael H

This arc is just straight fire. Every single episode. Even in the great arcs of anime, it’s rare to have such a consistent stretch of banger episodes.

G. A

The amount of fashion this show has is 🤯 like renji’s furr matching his hair and his bankai anima ( idk how to call it sorry) 🔥🔥🔥

Grady

Classic bonkoff

DonDuh103

Please I hope Bleach pulls a One piece we need Renji it’s too soon! He needs to save Rukia😭😭

DonDuh103

Yo Cannon missed out hard. Can’t wait to see what he says Wednesday or Friday!

DonDuh103

It just doesn’t make sense that this was not the most popular out of the big 3 at least beginning anime wise? Like just hit after hit we had one filler episode so far which was ep50 that we just hit, Crazy!!!!!

Vallll

It’s actually funny 🤣

Amanda Reutermo

bleach is never ending peak and I love seeing you guys be like "this is peak, but it has to stop eventually—oh, the next episode's peak as well, but—nope, next episode is fucking peak, but how about—" lmao. have we heard what the guys are doing about fillers btw? skipping them completely, I'm assuming?

lololol

next episode gon be crazy wwe need cannon for it FS

Patriicia

cant wait to watch this when I come home from work 😭😭

Benny

Have we spoken about how the VA for Gin also does Naoya Zen'in in JJK? He totally owns the vibes of the characters. Love it. These reactions were so fun. Cannot wait for the rest of this arc. Absolute peak.

Lettuce

I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about the upcoming drops! Can’t believe we’re already coming up on the end of this arc 🥺 such PEAK

Maj

Roar zabimaru!!!

GBuckets

Why he always play the sleaziest character

Benny

Right! It’s his iconic Kansai accent with all its vocab and slurred syllables—he is perfect for it.

Daniella

No offence to you. But if it’s so immoral and illegal then why are YOU on the geks’ patreon, knowing full well what uncut, unedited reactions are? This person is paying for this content just as they’re doing for Netflix and crunchyroll. It would be pirating if we got this all for free but it’s behind a monthly paywall. You should be calling out the geks for supplying uncut content without the permission of studio perriot and also watch their reactions YouTube then since it’s so terrible lol :)

Daniella

I feel so bad for Renji he really tried 😭 but Byakuya is so majestic in his bankai, especially hearing it in sub. I don’t whether the geks know but his va is the same as Kokushibo from demon slayer, Komamura's va is Endeavour and Tosen has the same va as Ichigo's dad and also the master from Demon Slayer :)

Ram.

It's definitely a legal issue or they could just post full reactions without a paywall, or on YT. Copyright exists. Additionally, I'm here because I've seen all of Bleach as it was airing originally and TYBW when it appeared on Hulu which I subscribed to. I'm not gaining a free first time watch from this, I've paid. But you are right, reaction channels are skirting around it by supplying uncut content behind a paywall that nets them money and not the creators. I'm sure the GEKs know full well the rules around all of this and are simply doing what other successful reaction channels have done, and there's yet to be legal recourse for it. But they are still at risk. I've also seen legally all the other anime they react to. I enjoy watching reactions as it gives me a way to vicariously re-experience it for the first time, through their eyes. I don't use it as a way to watch things I haven't paid for nor seen already. "If your reaction video substitutes for the original or discourages viewers from watching or purchasing it, this factor weighs heavily against fair use. Courts consider whether your use harms the market for the original or its licensing potential." "Copyright Infringement: Using, hosting, or distributing content you do not own—especially the entire video—is illegal, regardless of whether it is behind a paywall. Fair Use Limitations: Fair use is a legal defense, not a right. Showing the full video usually fails the "amount and substantiality" test of fair use, as it acts as a substitute for the original. Paywall Danger: Monetizing stolen content increases legal liability and makes it harder to argue fair use, as it directly harms the market for the original creator." I subscribe to many reaction channels here on Patreon, including The React Pack, Badd Medicine, Blind Wave, etc. So far, no one has really cracked down on any of this. It's hard because you guys are right in that a lot of us watching are paying for subscriptions to the official streaming sites that legally do host said content, even if it's first time watch thru GEK and not Crunchyroll, you're still paying for Crunchyroll, so are you stealing or pirating and thus are the reactors actually providing a substitute? To some, perhaps, but that's why there's so many reactors who just host uncut content on their own websites or Patreon or the like.

kuza

kenpachi the demon

Maj

Byakuya bankai gives me chills everytime man

kuza

bankai... senbonzakura kageyoshi

ooAlmondMilk

Tbf he did beat uryu when they came to get rukia, so he’s 1-3 so far

Hegataro

Ah yes, the first Domain Expansion

kuza

renjiiiiiii

Justine

The training arcs usually are a way to remove the MC so other things can happen which wouldn't happen if he was there. Also justify the power up. Bleach gives some good information about Ichigos mental state. Peak 🔥

kuza

cant wait for next batch and the rest of soul society 😭 i think this same thought every single batch but hey

kuza

nothing can be explained is just such a peak OST i cant express my love for it enough much like multiple others in this show , perfect selection for that renji scene aswell , so good 😪😪

Abrianaaa 🩷

Yayyy Byakuya’s Bankai reveal! His is one of my all time favorites! :)

Elio

Cannon 😞❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Safaricat

his is one of the best bankai

Safaricat

I do love that bleach training arcs aren't that long and they also move the story along as well. It shows the other characters getting stronger and the plot moves along and doesn't wait just for ichigo.

LuvStarburst

The first spell he used was blue fire crash down and the second spell was a binding spell and i believe it was called "six rods, prison of light" also renjis blade broke before reaching his body and where it broke it managed to touch him which is why he said his fang indeed reached him.

Lance

I kinda hope they watch the first movie at some point

Lance

I feel like that flashback is more like 100 years old and not 2000

simmer

i started watching bleach with you guys, just finished cour 3 of tybw yesterday.. Genuinely walks straight into my top 3, what an amazing show man

Arctic_stark

Bleach is so so good at slowly introducing and building up all the Captains and Lieutenants as notable characters.

ooAlmondMilk

Thats insane🔥🔥🔥 You should watch the zanpakuto rebellion arc if you havent yet, it shows (almost) every zanpakuto’s spirit and its a great way to see their relationship with the soul reapers. A lot of people consider it the best filler arc in anime

Maximum Homerdrive

honestly would be okay if you delay it if you don't have the full couch.

Jenny D

Byakuya's bankai definitely is really cool. I love how it splits into petals and then goes for the kill. I love Renji, but he went into that fight too fast. He and Ichigo should have teamed up. Excited for the next drop. You guys should have Cannon react to Byakuya's bankai. I do agree the training ARC is done well because it's not just Ichigo trying to achieve bankai. We get the other characters moving

Vallll

Cannon should react to this on his own

Gexy Chen

Not without Cannon again🥲🥲

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

If both of these things happen "Cannon does not do a reaction video to Tangerines" and "Someone's hair is not orange by next week" you don't wanna know what happens😈

christopher

GG renji maybe there's another Soul Society after this one

GBuckets

That OST is pure nostalgia. Whenever i hear it, it takes me back to my childhood in the mid 2000s, watching this show out of a CRT tv

GBuckets

the next one is what gave birth to JJK

Goat

Not a single boring batch in bleach ☝️

Albdre

Guys when naruto openings reaction ?🙏

Yara

its funny to see jack's gin phobia everytime

Alex

It's not the final episode anymore either! they've announced an OVA releasing this summer called "I am a hero too" which will focus on Eri. Plus the live action movie is set to start filming this year... 😬 Not sure whether I'm more excited or nervous for that one yet though 😂

Lettuce

I hope cannon gets back in time for the next batch, I’ll wait till Thursday if that’s what it takes

Error445

Next batch goated

aj1294

Holy aura Kuchiki Byakuya

Kat

Byakuya lemme see dat fang boy 😔

Spidey

Peak

Long Nguyen

KENPACHI FRIED CHICKEN LETS GOOOOOO PEAK

BROCODEDUDE

Guys stop spoiling in the title, watching with you guys!

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! Byakuya, hard to hate the guy honestly..

Giovanni

We need cannon to do a solo reaction to this

Gui Brawl

You might have missed it, but byakuya is seen talking to a photo of someone very similar to rukia. However he calls her hisana. I'm not trying to give any spoilers, I'm just saying so you remember when it's addressed and so you can theories among yourself. It starts around 7 min.

Gui Brawl

I love bleach's poems. They're very cool and a good way to understand more about a character

Neko 🐈

so real!!! I can't hear the word 'scatter' irl without internally saying Senbonzakura 😅

Janae

35:13 - on all of my rewatches this is the first time I’ve noticed that he had his eyes closed to avoid seeing what happened to Renji… my goat

Gui Brawl

Cool detail!! A subtle way to give us hints

AzorAhai

For the best episode batches, its better if you guys delay the reaction so you're all there. You guys will want a full couch for the remainder of this arc for sure.

GBuckets

Honestly unlike One Piece, Bleach doesn’t really have a “mid” arc, unless you count Full***** arc which is pretty split among the fanbase

Abrianaaa 🩷

I knowww! My brother will just say it randomly and then it’ll be stuck in my head all day lmao 😂

Alexa Vera

Bruh this is a spoiler in itself lmao

Gui Brawl

I just said because they didn’t see, except maybe jack, se made a weird face. So they remember

Renji Bankai translates to Baboon King

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

the renji and ichigo parallels...i love them sm 😫 my girl deserves all the ride or dies!! and the bankais r so sickkk also at bare minimum im glad renji at least got his props from byakuya :(( ❤️‍🩹
