The animation, the setting, atmosphere is amazing in this show.

Seth Aasland

Sypha Legacy : The Series

Daniella

Bleach and Castlevania back to back?? It's enough to make a grown man cry 😭

LeFlaneur

The guys are never going to leave the Invincible animators alone 😂 they are trying (I think)

TheSauceGuy

This just might be too much peak. I actually haven't watched Nocturne yet, but have very high hopes!

GreetswithJudgement

Not a huge fan of Nocturne but there’s so many great things about it! Glad you’re here Sauce!!

Seth Aasland

Haven’t seen you guys laugh this hard since that one episode of Andor

Ayoodude

I enjoy Nocturne. There are some things I could do without but I’ll hold those thoughts until revealed. That being said the animation is so good throughout the whole show.

iluvkartein

bye the singing is killing me 😭😭

Hansen

where’s Isaac? 💔

TheSauceGuy

Woah, I'm surprised! I'm hoping I'll be a huge fan haha.

Jack

Hahhahahaha, never

Rumaki21

Just to put context in the timeline, this show is about 3 hundred years after the first series ended and roughly 9 generations later, Julia Belmont is the 8th great grandchild of Trevor and sypha and Richter is the 9th.

hunter johnson

Can’t wait for ratko’s 4 episode backstory

LeFlaneur

The way I feel about the show is a little like how I feel about ATLA and TLOK; I find that ATLA is overall the superior show, but TLOK highs are on another level compared to ATLA. I also prefer ATLA characters, but I also find TLOK characters more relatable, messier maybe. Also, the animation; chef’s kiss!

Ayoodude

Feel you. Literally there’s just 1 thing I don’t like about Nocturne lol once we get there I’ll come back

LeFlaneur

I think it’s normal to dislike Maria. She’s a teenage freedom fighter, so it’s normal that she’s super intense and on the nose about most things. The abbot isn’t completely wrong; while the big revolutions (American, French, Haitian) weren’t anti-religion, they were to varying degrees pretty violent against organized religion because in a lot of cases the church sided with the elites and not regular people. It’s more about allegiances. Maria is not my favourite character, but she does have some mvp moments.

Thanatos

I feel like the time period works because if the vampires weren’t able to control the world out in the open like Carmella wanted they would have to secretly infiltrate the upper echelons of human society like nobles and royalty. As time progresses along with human technology it becomes more dangerous to be isolated holding individual piece of land like Carmella or the Asian Vampire Lady from the first show. Since old and powerful vampires have access to knowledge and magic it makes sense infiltration would be easy for them as nobles.

Rumaki21

Episode 3 in Annettes backsory she was a part of the Haitian Revolution saint-domingue now modern day Haiti.

Daniella

Edouard's fuckass pick me singing is my actual opp lmao the reaction was so funny 💀

Mila

yessss nocturne started 🙂‍↕️

Daniella

I think you guys will like nocturne, not much as og which i think is the general consensus but it has its own charm and works well as a standalone/sequel. The animation goes so hard though, i love that scene of annette running it's so gorgeous, the show taking a more spiritual route is very interesting :)

Sueño

Y'all did TOOO MUCH!!! 🤣

Sueño

Y'all leave him alone!!! 😅

Pod Rider

45:50 I mean, they're not the most stealthy in an open space 🤷😂

Frizen

In regards to Vampire integration it was kind of already set up in the first show. Remember when Striga and Morana were talking about the difficulty of getting enough night creatures for war and Morana said they can just hire soldiers. You even see some human mercenaries when Issac attacks the castle. Plenty of people will look the other way if they're being compensated or gain something.

Ayomide Salami

I'm crying, y'all's reaction to Eduard singing had me laughing so hard, my head hurts.

Nrock23

#1diavolofan

DonDuh103

Cannon I think if anyone has the Belmont blood means they can only be a descendent of Trevor 😂😂😂

Kelduin

oh no its my first time watching nocturne why are the character designs so ass

DonDuh103

I guess Edouard was singing for himself too and maybe he’ll come back as brook to sing to the crew?

DonDuh103

Edouard just got Pack-a-Punched😂😂

DonDuh103

Richter VA also played in this Netflix show called The Discovery Of Witches.

DonDuh103

This episode reminded me of Smoke and Stack from sinners! Wonder if Nocturne gave it some inspiration?

DonDuh103

McKay trying to gaslight Jack saying he was laughing when he sung even though he was the only one listening 😂😂

Chris Ivory
