z-zangetsu?

Lothbrok

PLEAAAASE fix the subs, unreadable, so small

Lettuce

Carter missed peak 😭 idk if it’s deserving of a solo reaction but I’d love to see one

G’Rale Gambino

Jack is kinda right . Ichigo is the mimic …. He stole zangetsu abilities against grimmjow etc

Thanatos

I get what jack was saying about ichigo being the mimic tear. If Zangetsu 'unequipped' his power ichigo wouldn't really have a sword to fight with since ichigo gets his power from zangetsu.

victoria t

She probably calls him “Berry” because the name “Ichigo” can also mean “strawberry”

victoria t

Also cannot handle that absolutely adorable kitten next to Jack, talk about a scene stealer 😂😂

Alex Ramirez

Kensei has to be my favorite of the Visored. He's always been cool to me the moment he pulled out his knife.

Alex Ramirez

Boo Bount Arc trying to make it's fights seem relevant in the main story. Boo

Tea_Lover

I don’t really get that? All soul reapers get their powers from their zanpakutos. Their zanpakutos are a mirror of themselves it is their own power manifested in another form.

kai

“ichigo….what is the difference between the king and his horse” ? never forget that quote

Lettuce

Tea please don’t state things that haven’t been explained yet until TYBW

Tom Tom

they turned Carter into a cat wth

Alex Ramirez

I love Bleach Abridged's take on these 2 episodes. Memories of battles fought, battles that never happened, and battles against Kenpachi lol

Trae Young Supremacist

you guys should rewatch part of ichigo vs white in dub on your own time just to hear the voice difference. i thinks white sounds so much better in dub, wonder what you guys would think

Bonny2132

Great timing, the Bleach manga returning just got leaked. So I'm in a big Bleach mood rn.

kai

we told yall this before Bleach is the father of shonen they all bite off its style, concepts, and plot

Kurofi

Remember that Ichigo is still about 15 to 16 years old. He still has a lot to learn.

Cyn

That kitten should be a permanent feature when possible. A+ addition

Thanatos

I'm glad you guys can see where JJK gets a lot of its inspiration from. Sukuna paralleling Zangetsu/Hollow Ichigo, Azien's Plan to sacrifice Karakura town to make an Oken paralleling the Shibuya Incident or even the culling games to a certain extent. Spirit Energy/Pressure paralleling cursed energy.

gggoos

I'm a fan of the distorted voice personally. I think it suits Hollow Ichigo well.

user216612

The cat is so smoll T_T

user216612

Or just watch it from your pc , problem solved

Kurofi

I agree. It’s too small. I screen share from my phone to my tv and can’t see shit. Watch it on my comp and can’t see shit.

JevCor

love seeing all the geks together.

Kurofi

I love the parallels of Ichigo and his hollow fighting for control and to decide who is the king and who is the horse. And the same happening with Aiden wanting to overthrow/kill the Soul king (based on what Yamamoto said).

user216612

Love how they get so mad Kariya from the filler arc showing up, when they chose not to watch the filler arcs lol

roberto matar

Man i wish they would make a bleach anime remake, the amount of fillers in the ichigo vs his hollow is so freaking annoying compared to how epic it was in the manga, adding byakuya and a freaking fully filler character is so freaking dumb 😔

Gui Brawl

Why does the horse carry the king and not the other way around? INSTINCT!!! The horse is stronger and faster than the king(human), but the human is on top, a weaker being. Because we humans have a desire to devour, conquer to defeat others and test our strenght. The horse is just a horse, no instinct, that's what separates the two.

Gui Brawl

Fun fact: Rgarding the scene with the bount, in the manga only kenpachi shows up. I don't mind adding things if it helps the source material, the byakuya scene is better because hes a canon character, but even so it's not much of an addition to the story

Gui Brawl

Spoilers SUPER HYPER MEGA SPOILERS DO NOT READ Rewatching bleach makes you appreciate it even more. White saying that he's zangetsu this early is CRAZY!! Him knowing to to use the sword, getsugatensho, learning bankai as Ichigo does the hollow and shinigami power being connected.

Yhwach

Yourichi vibes 🤣🤣

Nefertem

Ichigo and white’s conversation hits different in the dub

Nefertem

I can’t wait to watch their reactions to all the other epic scenes the rest of bleach has cooked up

Ben Everest

petition to replace Carter with this cute ass kitten

Daniella

I do like that Bleach puts emphasis on mental strength and training rather than the typical physical training you see in anime, especially because that's what was affecting Ichigo. Obviously he does get stronger, but it's more about him realising he does love battle and wants power, and him changing his mentality in order to be powerful and win in battle is the most important thing :)

Daniella

I had to go back a couple of times cause i realised i was watching the cutie pootie kitten instead of the reaction 💀

LotionedPenguin

Damn just noticed Kensei has the same VA as joseph

Kadence

bleach fans really cannot resist spoiling

E

Shinji may have a weird haircut but he’s still cool as hell

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! The cat is so cute, I get distracted

Ben Everest

far out i love this show

Ben Everest

power ups, a crazy lore drop AND Kenpachi. CAN WE GET MUCH HIGHER

Ben Everest

Manga readers was the Bount dialog anime original or did they give him another characters Cannon dialog?

Jeff

For Cannon. I'm sure its been mentioned, sorry for the repetition but I like to comment as I watch and don't read until after😅 . Ichigo can mean different things depending on the kanji - one of them is strawberry. Hence 'Berry'

Jeff

I know OP is getting its WIT remake(stoked) but I agree that Naruto and Bleach would both benefit from a remake in this age. Also, another sleeper, World Trigger, is getting a Season 1 remake to fix the poor pacing. Very fun show that gets hated on and overlooked because of poor pacing but would be so epic for reactions. Just not sure there is the audience for it yet. hoping the remake changes that.

Christian F

I'm watching it on a 72 inch TV and it's still annoyingly small. It's readable, but still a bit too small.

Miitei

You guys should name the cute kitten as Strawberry in Ichigo's honor lmao

Frida BØ

Karakura town is their hometown and it’s not a real place in Japan. The kanji for karakura translates to "Empty Seat"

holyfuckingobito

My favorite part of this video is the precious little kitten 😭😭

Seb

is the person that’s invisible and missing john cena??

Jonas Teigen

This absolutely cooks on the rewatch. Forgot how good this was.

mathiasmedswag

Mckay not liking this voice either, is there any voice you like😭😂

mathiasmedswag

Completely filler. I could be misremembering but im fairly certain only Kenpachi showed up and the Byakuya stuff was also filler.

Max Grodman

Subtitles too small for mobile

mathiasmedswag

Just fyi next batch will be the last before a mini filler arc 128-137. A great thing with that is after thats done the filler characters have basically no screen time and after 5 or so episodes they are gone at last...

kuza

BLEACH

mathiasmedswag

I mean i think they’re watching from disney+ so maybe they cant. My subtitles are like that as well.

Zess

Cant defend Jack on this one, hollow zangetsu looks the way he does because Ichigo already looks the way he does lol cant be the mimic when youre the original.

Joshua Lederman

So true, out of the big 3 bleach was used most as inspiration for sure

Enma

Gege would be homeless if Kubo didn’t exist

tami

ichigo's progression is so mentally rooted i love it so much

LuvStarburst

The first time you guys have seen the Cero in action is when Yammy first appeared and kicked Ichigos ass in the park. He used it on Yoruichi when she was healing Orihime, but Kisuke stepped in and offset its power with his own sword blast.

KazumaSpitfire

Oh boy what a batch for Carter to miss with the boys! Side note: I got my ticket to see TYBW first 3 ep of cour 4 in theatres next saturday, didn't think it was being shown in Canada so I'm glad I checked again

Alexander

McKay really got a problem with "voices" huh lol never heard anyone say they don't like Hollow Ichigo's voice. That's probably one of the coolest parts of him

Jack mayfield

it’s so hard to not just absolutely spoil for mimic tear convo 💔💔

wileykat

well said, it's underrated how insane Bleach is on rewatches

Gui Brawl

It's all about the mental battle. That maked it very unique and different from other shows

Gui Brawl

Finally!! Thank goodness.

Mack

Yeah same

Mack

Probably just doesn’t like the talking he’s more into the fight scenes. So everything is filler to him

Mack

Damn that’s crazy

Shiki

I get it, it's why people prefer just going with the manga sometimes

Shiki

Tite Kubo is going to be working on a brand new arc for the Bleach manga btw! Crazy news

Benjamin Knock

125 episodes of bleach already is crazy. I gotta hurry up and watch this, I'm just worried that my absolute GOAT shiro sagisu (did the evangelism music) is going to make this dethrone one piece from the top of the big 3

McKay Carter

I actually just went and watched it and it was sick, good rec

BipolarKitten

What happened to Mika? Did she catch a case of Benjamin Button and start aging backwards?

DCMH

Jjk is so heavily influenced by bleach its crazy

Amanda Reutermo

gek: exists new kitten: (ง •̀_•́)ง

Uncle Tsukishima

We are approaching one of my top 3 episodes and probably the most memorable one of the series for me, episode 141. If you know, you know. 🙏 Feels on feels.

DonDuh103

So even Ichigo Hollow wants to be King of the Pirates???? Get in line😂😂

DonDuh103

Yo how’s episode 125 not rated higher than 124??? We got the conclusion with Ichigo, lore drop plus Kenny the goat!!!!!

mathiasmedswag

Valid🔥 do you mean Kabuto from naruto btw?

Lorenzo

True, this show introduces so many people it gets hard to remember names, but as you’ll go, you’ll get to know everyone a lot more

Zess

Zanpakto have definitely been described the way Tea is saying in earlier arcs lol

kuza

the random bount guy popping up 💔💔

kuza

125 PEAK

Patriicia

I am so ready for TYBW.. I cant wait

Enzo Lorente

I need mooooooooooooooore 💉

Safaricat

i just wanted to point out to the geks and everyone..... Rukia couldn't even sense Ichigo's spiritual pressure when he disappeared..... but Orihime can..... just sayin.... Also the visords didn't need to use their hollow form against hollow ichigo

Yagami Light

yall gotta watch the instinct quote in dub its sooo much better

KazumaSpitfire

It's really only 70 ~ 80 episodes because of the filler arc after soul society

Jason Charles

Ultimately ichigos power is captain level but we can't really say hes above anyone besides Byakuya. The Kenpachi fight was ultimately a draw, and Ichigo fell first anyways so if anything, thats a kenpachi win. Ichigo is super busted and an argument can be made for ichigo over a lot of captains at this point but its not definitive.... All ill say is that you still dont know SHIT at the point you guys are at now.

RyskiS

Please make the subtitles a bit bigger if you can, they are really small

Jenny D

The kitty is so cute! Is this Jack's new kitty? When the Bount ARC villain came I was like who is this? Lol. Ichigo's distorted personality was interesting. I think I like Zangetsu better though. I know he technically is Zangetsu, but I guess he is more the hollow side of Zangetsu.

bxqlash

Berry, is a reference to strawberry. Strawberry in Japanese is Ichigo. Another play on his name is the sign on his bedroom door, which is the number 15, ichi is 1, go is 5.

XXI

haters aside, it IS true. Kubo you damn goat🐐

XXI

hope they read this🤘🏼

XXI

Resolve 😤

Tiya Delih

Karakura town is part of Western Tokyo

Bryce

Agreed, I was surprised how there was a lot of blatant foreshadowing of later events in the very first arc. Trying to keep it vague here, but things that felt like they came out of nowhere on my first watch (over years of airing) were clearly planned from the start. This rewatch really elevating a show I already loved

Kasumii_

I think for like a 3rd of this video I was just watching the adorable little kitty running around... this is it, this is why I learnt Japanese, all that effort paid off by me being able to watch a cute cat for nearly half the video and still not miss any of the lore
