Yoshi

Ayoodude

And here we ..go

Osiris704

Yessirrr. Looking forward to the outro discussions👏🏾👏🏾

A.G

I haven't seen this in almost a decade but im excited

Osiris704

The intro is one of my all time favorites

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Yeehaw I remember nothing about this anime so probably time for a rewatch

Frizen

LETS GOO. Parasyte is in my top 5 yet feels weirdly underrated

JojoJack

Madhouse anime always always deliver.

Yuion

This is usually way further down the road of many reactors so it being here so early is a welcome surprise Goated community

Jonas

Was not expecting this top drop, but man I was not let down.

Miitei

I'm exited to rewatch this. Haven't seen it since 2014-2015 😅

ooAlmondMilk

If I hear the “we’ve heard about this anime since day one” one more time, I’ll make darkness fall upon Utah once and for all

Zipzzty

LETS GOO peak so excited love this anime

Melon late

I believe you could watch the op now since you already see what Migi is

Mack

Lets fcking go!!!!!

Mack

Peak for sure

KingCobra2

Just subscribed to be blessed with the greatness of Parasyte the PEAK?! Lessgo!!

cade-carter

I HAVE NOT BEEN SO EXCITED IN SUCH A LONG ASS TIME! Easily tied for my #1 next to HXH. ITS TIME!

user216612

This made me SO HYPED, I forgot to look at what won the poll after voting on the first day.

Stairguy

Can't watch it now but dropping in to say this will be a goated reaction. One of the best shows to react to ever

walkman

Watched this last year kind of inconsistently so I’m excited to rewatch on a more consistent basis

James

This is an older one, but it’s a good show for most of the series. And it’ll be because of Juicy tier that you’ll eventually watch Monster which has one of the most complex villains in anime.

walkman

On another note, let’s go Cape Verde!

LupusRex69

I was one of those people recommending Parasyte since day one 🙏🏽

Frizen

They cannot, there is a giant spoiler in there its not even subtle 🤣

Melon late

Ok I didnt know. It’s been a while lol

Monica Thompson

Never thought we’d get this omg. We’re up

TyyT

banger otw boys

cade-carter

Sane here! I have been waiting

Zipzzty

WELCOME GOAT

cade-carter

This is our first Horor anime right?

Aratyu

I don't know if someone said it already but the manga was published in 1988, and the anime is from 2014. I hope they'll adapt more old manga with new animation like that.

Frizen

It's extremely blatant, I've seen them get upset at ops for way less lol

Melon late

Jeez I didn’t know I haven’t watched it in a long time like I said.

Frizen

They're gonna watch a random anime ova from 1992 and say "we've heard about this anime since day one." 🤣

ggr

Even tho i like the show it winning over Gurren Lagann and Samurai champloo is a L

JojoJack

They’ve seen psychological horror before, does that count? Anime always love that shit

Zess

Honestly all the juicy poll options are so good, cant wait for yall to see more of this!

Zess

I watched like 16 episodes of Monster forever ago and it was really good, just accidentally fell off it for too long because of life. Now just waiting for the day to finish it with the Geks lol

Kasumii_

so excited for this, it may not be the biggest anime out there but I think it's one of those animes that just has no flaws, just a good like 9/10 show in every way from beginning to end

Chrissy

Daaaang haven't seen this since it came out! I still jam to the OP lmao

isa

I'm still holding out hope for Apothecary Diaries

greyxwaren

i haven’t watched this show since the year it was released and the soundtrack is so unhinged looking back lmao it did not age well AT ALL. him saving a cat? BWAH WAH WAH. it’s great

Chrissy

That and "we don't know jack shiz" lmao 😂

Nrock23

Same I was a junior in HS when this came out lmao

Zipzzty

PEAK INTRO

isa

McKay: I like this (at any hint of romance) Also McKay: Cut him in half! The duality lol

Liptrouski

This is such a good watch, we will be seated.

cozo

is this the most niche anime u guys have seen so far?

Kasumii_

that line about humans being the closest thing to demons out of any creature on earth has always stuck with me since watching this show, it's such an interesting line, really gets you thinking about the ethics and nature of humanity, we slaughter animals in the millions for our own nutrition, we kill each other for pleasure, conquest or even no reason at all, in the eyes of another intelligent creature we must seem like the embodiment of evil

Nrock23

Gurren Lagann robbed :( one day!

HaoHao 9

Ling Cage one year COPIUM

GrimmHxH (Nick)

its been such a long time since ive watched this, but i remember it being peak. So excited to rewatch it with yall :)

Joy

That game was sooo good

This is Daniel

Wowww, I can't believe we got Parasyte! Looking forward to the rewatch because I barely remember anythinggg. However, don't worry about the perceived low ratings, because the show is superb and quite impactful 😊

Miitei

Just so you guys have some context. This is a Manga published in the 80's It was adapted in 2014 and was modernized to that period. And tbh sooo many things have changed in these 12 years that I'm a little scared to see how this aged😅

This is Daniel

I would go berserk for Ninja Scroll! 😭

This is Daniel

I woke up at 02:00 and had to find my glasses 🫪

Alex

I would say you can watch the opening about midway through the show. There are some major events before then that might be spoiled from the opening. Spoiler: For the other patrons - I would say they could probably start watching it after episode 8.

C. Fushiguro

Yea I saw this one in theaters when it came out

Mack

Felt like World Cup finals

JojoJack

Jackson, Parasyte was banned in China. The anime is owned by Sentai Filmworks in NA and they usually have contract deals with other streaming companies.

TheSauceGuy

This was definitely inspired by Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Thing. I'm definitely getting vibes from both of those films.

Mack

Outro song hits hard

TheSauceGuy

30:37 I wasn't gonna comment about it, but after this, I think I can. I was gonna say, "man, he might never shlork it again," but I guess I was wrong lol.

Bourgeoisie

I haven’t watched this since I was 10 🚬 we’re so back chii

Ella

I’ve been so nervous to start this one, but I guess now is as good a time as any😅

Brikena

I remember watching this back in 2020 during the pandemic😅 It was one of the first anime I watched on a whim after seeing a TikTok edit of it, and it ended up becoming one of my all-time favorites! Unfortunately, most people I recommended it to either never watched it because it wasn’t mainstream enough or dropped it because they found it underwhelming🥲 It was really frustrating not being able to discuss this masterpiece with anyone, so I’m really excited to rewatch it with the Geks and everyone in the comments🥰 I’m sure you guys will appreciate it as much as I did! Also, I hope Monster wins next🙏🏻 Juicy Tier shows are my favorites! I love that you take the time to give less mainstream anime a fair chance☺️

Red

Black Clover

lololol

LETS GOOOOOOO

Alex

I was planning to pause my Patreon sub because I move to Japan in 4 weeks... but with bleach, one piece, the walking dead AND parasyte now all ongoing... I guess I'm going to have to keep some money in my UK bank account until I get my first pay into my Japanese account so I can keep watching all this PEAK with you guys 🫡

Connor O'Hara

Wait the new set is looking so fresh

Marsh

the soundtrack gets less ridiculous as the series progresses i feel

Kim 555

28:14 McKay, you missed it

Vallll

Thought Monster would win, but I love Parasyte as well.

Connor O'Hara

I think the comment about "are you actually Shinichi" is meant to show that she genuinely likes him for who he is. The ability to have compassion and empathy for other people is uniquely human, and she could tell the difference when she held the hand that wasn't really his, and wasn't really human.

greyxwaren

i feel like i know the exact scene you’re referring to 💔💔

Zachary Provenzano

Im sure eventually monster will win. Im sure they would find that anime really interesting. Parasyte is a good anime too :)

Romeo

You guys should add DORORO and Sword art online to the juicy tier poll

DonDuh103

It’s like Edward said it was just a adrenaline rush😭😭😭

Alexander

Parasyte the Peak

kivu_king

10/10 show, subbed to juicy for it <3

DonDuh103

These parasites look like B.O.W from resident evil. Also they came from space call The Men In Black we need Will Smith here 🛸 🛸🛸🛸🛸

Matt C

6:21 was comedy 😭

DonDuh103

Bro can’t be caught being the guy that’s yacks off in school😭😭

DonDuh103

We got to fight the demons out of us.

DonDuh103

It reminds me of Thing and resident evil

Kurofi

Resident evil 4 (the game) is all I think about when I see these people with parasyte heads lol haven’t seen this since 2014 but it’s 👌🏾 enjoy! 👁️👄👁️

DonDuh103

She shouldn’t touch that hand any after what Migi did with it in the bathroom😬😭😬😭

Daniella

I’m excited for these reactions, this show is such a masterpiece! Also Migi my shayla 🥹

Akodros

Oh so good dude, I’m really happy this won the poll! The animation is really high quality too, lots of well animated cuts in these episodes

Yellow Hero

We got flying dogs Before flying cars

Jonas Teigen

Never watched Parasyte before, but this was really good, and the animation was surprisingly crazy good with the character acting. Also, the toilet scene LMAOOOO😭😭😭😭😭😭

LuvStarburst

I'm glad you guys finally started with this show. I remember watching this anime on a random night when I was bored out of my mind with nothing to watch.

Gabriel camacho

This is gonna be my first watch with the gek as well

TheSauceGuy

Oh Resident Evil is a good call lol

Synyster

this was definitely better in my memory then on my recent re watch lol

Paul

What a good start :^)

Synyster

Parasyte is not a slept on show, its so popular lol. If you want a really good slept on show then Link Click is your best bet. It's so low on polls, not because it is bad, but because most of the voters haven't seen it. Ask your mods in discord how much they enjoy Link Click!!

Synyster

After the first few episodes you should be able to watch the intro, it honestly only spoils things for the first episode.

Enma

Finally joined juicy tier. I haven't seen this series since it came out, basically don't remember a single thing.

Zess

It's actually an older manga from the 80's too, so Resident Evil was actually inspired the other way around lol HxH also has a character inspired by the story.

Zess

The OP still slaps though, dont get it twisted. But the dubstep OST was a lot more popular during this period lol

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

i dont really think of parasyte as underrated lol, idrk what the sentiment on it is now but it was super popular when it was coming out

Josh242

Holiday weekend peak 🙏🏻

christopher

Hi, just upgraded to the juicy tier. Is there a place where i can see what shows they have in this tier?

Jaeboleann

Parasyte is sooo peak😂😂

Jack

Just go start another fire

holyfuckingobito

Saamee. I'VE BEEN SAYING Steins gate and Parasyte 😭

DCMH

Goated opening

Brendan Carter

When are we gonna watch GANTZ just for McKay?

May Lin

Hahah omg yesss! can confirm I was one of the ones that recommended Parasyte back in AOT 1.0 days lol :P Thank you so much for reacting to this!!

May Lin

Also the ending song from this show is really good :)

DCMH

This will hold me until ya’ll finish the slow portion of bleach

Mim

The switch from them cheering for shinichi and then being like oh that's not.. when he said i'll eat you alive lmao😭

Nefertem

Are there no more parasite reactions coming?

BDIRCT

Samurai Champloo!!! Please 🙏😩🥺

BDIRCT

Everyone watching will like if they haven’t seen😣 I’m not gonna steer my people away from greatness

Jeff

I dont know why I took so long to upgrade. So much to catch up on🔥

Jeff

excited to binged this gem!

JeanJean

Unfortunately the anime just isn't good. If there was a faithful adaptation it'd be the best thing ever though.

Two Cylinder

Forgot how out of pocket this show was😭😭

bigdog

Man what a great show can’t wait to watch reactions hehe

bigdog

Murano my goat va , love her voice
