I get both sides of Lori and Rick. It’d suck being pregnant close to giving birth and your husband isn’t speaking to you but I think Rick was hurt Lori didn’t comfort him after he had to kill his best friend and honestly still having a relationship with Shane in the first place. That definitely didn’t leave Rick at all because he didn’t have time to really even be mad at her at the farm. On top of looking out for a whole group… Sucks all around

Spoilers: I 100% agree. There are so many good moments in all of the seasons even though I understand why people don’t like the later seasons. I still think it’s worth watching all the way through. I also cannot see them stopping right after seeing the first episode of season 7, I would be shocked. Jeffrey Dean Morgan does such a good job in his role and I’m looking forward to them seeing the Whisperers and how they are introduced as well.

Regarding the sitting zombie that bit Hershel; there are two behavior classifications that zombies generally fall into- roamers and lurkers. Roamers are the most common, the ones that are always wandering around. Lurkers play dead (double dead?) sitting or laying down, waiting for someone to walk by to sneak attack.

Heartbreaking to see Rick and Lori like that, she's strong asf to have made it this far with the pregnancy while being on the run all this time. Can't even imagine the mental and physical toll. Lori does not deserve the crap she gets from some of the fans. There’s not a character in this show that hasn’t or doesn’t make mistakes or poor choices. That’s what makes them all so human and such great characters. Yeah, it would have been great if she’d reacted better when Rick told her he’d killed Shane and that Carl shot walker Shane, but her reaction was understandable and realistic, and it’s clear she’s trying to make up for it. Now it’s Rick’s turn to be the problem. And, again, it’s understandable and realistic that with all the stress he’s under and the guilt he’s feeling that he would take it out on her. They’ve both let their own feelings of guilt over Shane cause them to push the other away.

I dislike Lori a lot but I always felt bad about her here, like putting extra stress on a pregnant woman is the worst thing you can do Rick smh. I do wonder tho if one of the reasons for Rick's behavior is that every time he looks at Lori pregnant he gets reminded that she is carrying Shane's child and also he just remembers Shane so he feels even worse about what he did. It's very hard to read either of their emotions here because they barely communicate

i wish the show would've followed our group through their first winter in the apocalypse. i like season 3, but i can't fathom how the writers just didn't see the gold mine of potential there. aside from the firing of frank darabont, this time skip just might be my biggest gripe with the first handful of seasons.

IMPORTANT... you guys keep asking about the walkers but they showed and told you early season one with morgan-they go dormant when there is no stimulus. thats why the one that bit hershel was just sitting there, it was dormant and then when he walked around it giving triggering the hunting instinct it reacted and immediately tried to bite. they all do this, thats how they seem to "spawn" in huge groups, when a few of them are messed with it riles them all up, they are drawn to sound and movement. so when theystarted yelling in the tunnels(a comcrete echoing tunnel) it got the attention of the other walkers as well, which is why there was suddenly a second cluster that blocked off glenn and maggie.

I do like show Shane better than comic Shane, but I prefer Carl killing Shane like in the comics. But, I don't like them killing off Sophia & Dale so early. Spoiler alert for the comics here, but Sophia was never supposed to die - period - as Carl's endgame. Like, I don't think the trade-off of having that twist shock moment of zombie Sophia coming out of the barn is worth it for making it impossible for Carl to end up with the girl he's meant to marry and have kids with.

Putting the blame on Rick is wack. they are literally married , everything isn’t his fault he didn’t have a baby with another woman. And he tried being there for Lori .but Lori wasn’t being a good mom and blamed Rick for that. When your married u HAVE to COMMUNICATE THEY BOTH WAS IN THE WRONG BUT LORI kept gaslighting the situation.
