Onigo Bonigo episode commentary “The direct sequel to Episode 25. The Egypt part possesses many episodes split into several parts, which had allowed us to adapt the plot up to the smallest details. It was a great opportunity. The episode is impeccably articulated around Jotaro and N'Doul's duel. There's a great tension developing until the final clash, where the first one to shoot is the winner, like a good western movie. The suspense is at its peak! As for the animation, we have added a fast photography effect on Jotaro's punches, which are too fast for the eye. It makes the action scene particularly classy, until the final act. We can also talk about Iggy's faces, they are rather comical. He's attacked, is thrown around, and we even see him fart midair. I really liked the post-battle scene where we can feel the start of a friendship (?) between Iggy and Jotaro. Misato Fukuen marvelously dubs Iggy, to the point I really thought that the dog was talking (laughs). If we look at it, N'Doul is maybe the only honorable enemy, having a noble character. We have lost a valorous antagonist and that is a shame.” - Naokatsu Tsuda

Happy Jojo's Sunday! I'd agree that Stand Proud has arguably grown on me too. I think the familiarity through repetition does create a somewhat nostalgic connection. Not too dissimilar to we, the audience, seeing you, the Geks. We've grown accustomed to yout face(s) 😎

The ending song ‘Last Train Home’ is a 1987 song from a late 70s American jazz fusion group named The Pat Metheny Group from their fifth album, Still Life (Talking). It's a very old translation mistake from before there was an anime, made by incompetent translators who take transcription literally. When mistakes are that old they tend to get carried forward by the community, even official translators on occasion too. It's been so long and persistent that it's just his official english name now

I was actually the opposite with the opening on first watch. I liked this one more off the bat compared to the last one. All jojo openings are bangers tho, so it and the others will grow on you just like the last one did.

I mean, part of the appeal with Iggy is that he's an awful little dog. If you just find that annoying you probably won't immediately like him and that's understandable. I think he's great, personally. Weird face and all.

The Opening ages like a fine wine., it only gets better as the season progresses, especially toward the end, its pretty much the catalyst for Jojo being considered the goat of openings. Also its sung by the singers of the first couple openings. They formed a temp group called the Jostars for this one.

I think this opening is very good due to the visuals, it has easter eggs in almost every frame but you'd need to be some genius god to interpret the spoilers.
