Ukeh, ukeh, ukekoh, ukokeh (Boingo’s Laugh) commentary “Here is Oingo and Boingo's episode, who were introduced in the third part of Episode 26. It wasn't done because there was not enough material for Episode 26, but more because there was too much for Episode 27 and we had to resolve this problem. Firstly, I want to point out how closely we had reproduced Boingo's comic-book Stand. This version is made from illustrations from the original manga that we colorized. This episode doesn't shine through memorable action scenes, so the stakes were elsewhere. We had to find a good pacing to develop this story entirely carried by the voice acting of the two voice actors. On top of that, it was all accompanied by a Disney or cartoon-style score which I found had the nicest effect and perfectly fitted the tone of the episode. I remember well the dub stage, where Daisuke Ono, Jotaro's VA, really looked like he was having a great time. His text was full of lines the real Jotaro would have never said. The special ending is an idea I had proposed. It pleased Mr. Omori, the producer, and it came to fruition. Regarding the music, Yugo Kanno managed all of the ending's composition. He really polished it, I find the end result very funny.” - Naokatsu Tsuda

I love this episode since it shows how the crusaders interact with each other when they're actually not being attacked also gives Jotaro a dork side which given his age, is normal

i don't know which is funnier: the idea that polnareff and joseph always knew it was a fake jotaro and they were messing with him the entire time, or that they were completely oblivious to the deception and that the interpersonal relationships among the crusaders are weird to the point of giving oingo an ulcer

Omg did they have memory loss… literally Jotaro is known for smoking all the time he has smoked several times before in this show… also yes polnarref smokes too help why did they all just collectively forget Jotaro smokes cigarettes. Also, yes, Jotaro does do that trick of the five cigarettes in his mouth and then drinking right after, we just haven’t seen it. But this shows that off screen Jotaro is just a teenager who does party tricks with his buddies for fun

This episode shows what's so great about the Egypt saga. While there are serious stand users still, like with N'Doul last ep, there's also really stupid over the top users like the Oingo Boingo Brazas, which we didn't really get any of in the first half of part 3
