The way they tease DIO is like the way they hype the return of the Attack On Titan main cast in season 4. Even though we've known them, a lot of time went by, so it makes us curious to know how they've changed. It's also just exciting to see these well established characters in such a completely different setting, so much that it might as well be a different show.

Actually it's not really an object having a stand, the sword itself IS the stand. It's more of an independent stand that can change its stand user by possessing them

truly love that you guys appreciate last train home. some fans I've talked to think it's one of the more forgettable endings. it holds a special place in my heart bc I first heard it when I was in Maui in June 2018, and there were brushfires happening on the island so the air quality wasn't great, but it was too hot in my room to stay inside and I was feeling moody, so I sat on the balcony listening to a random jazz playlist I found and last train home came on and it just calmed me and lifted my mood in such a surprising way. The next week I was back in California finishing up Part 3 season 1 of Stardust Crusaders after watching Jojo's for a few months, and I still remember how serendipitous it felt when I started the Egypt Saga and last train home played for the ending lol. Hirohiko Araki has good taste.
