For those who are interested, Giolla's art art fruit references some famous worldwide artists: - The cubism and abstract art (or minecraft art as Mckay put it) reference Picasso and a famous Japanese artist Taro Okamoto - Brooks face is a direct replica of a painting called "The Scream" by Edward Munch, an expressionist painter - And lastly the melting, dreamlike, warped shapes perspectives draw heavily from Salvador Dali's work :)

I used to think so too because it was my fav arc until wci beat it (and I watched the og), but then my own husband said that for him dressrosa is thriller bark level and it’s somewhere in the middle of his arc ranking. I didn’t get it but I noticed that people who watched dressrosa weekly have their own trauma. Like I was watching early wano weekly and I still can’t put wano in my top 5 because of how frustrated I was watching 1 ep of bullshit per week and even all the peak(!!!) moments still can’t erase that frustration

Yeah we don't need anymore added boob jiggle animations 💀 it's one of the things I appreciate about one pace. I remember in thriller bark they cut a lot of unnecessary Nami ogling scenes with Absalom. It really disgusted me on my first time watch and One Pace cut a lot of those sexualising shots that weren't in the manga, which I really appreciated. Like Toei if there is one scene you shouldn't sexualise it's when a woman is getting assaulted, like c'mon 🤦‍♀️

Omg I also have wci over dressrosa too😭. Yeah, I understand everyone has their own experience, but I’m talking abt the majority of the fandom. For me there’s no way I would ever think to put dressrosa on a thriller bark level. And I know most of the fandom wouldn’t either. But also who’s to say thriller bark is bad?🤷‍♀️ I enjoyed it and the writing is good. I know others didn’t whether from the pacing or they just didn’t. But yeah, the majority wouldn’t say Dressrosa story-telling is as thriller bark level. And for wano, I have the arc in my top 3. I caught up during roof piece wano so I also had to wait. And yes, the pacing is baddd but I would never put wano lower than my top 5. The story is soooooooo good. The amount of depth we get and also great animation, i honestly don’t care abt the pacing all that much to determine where i put the arc. Yes, the pacing was bad but i was happy every week😁😭 But yeah, I understand everyone has their own experience, but I’m saying as a majority in the one piece fandom, no one is really putting Dressrosa as their least favorite of all the 30 arcs. The lowest it gets will be in the middle
