Speaking of games starting to look so realistic with crazy graphics, you should check out OD by Hideo Kojima, the latest trailer they dropped. Istg it looks like reality. They did the motion capture for all the actors a month ago, Hideo said that he wants to be the first person to scan a real ghost for his horror game 😭. Check that out on your own time!

You guys gotta play the Red Dead Redemption games as well! They have their own charm, especially RDR2. The GTA games (especially 5 and likely 6) lean more into the satirical commentary on America, as evidenced by the immediate police brutality in the gameplay trailer. The radio ads in GTA V are great examples of this as well, lol.

GTA is criminal simulator, RDR is cowboy simulator. But thats just the surface. Once the online comes out and it gets on PC then its just life simulator.

used to pull all-nighters in the summertime on GTA 5. The game was always around as a kid so its kinda crazy being around for a new one and new graphics an i like how they implemented some of the things they have on RDR2 into the game like people wanted.

Don’t think it’s gonna be that long. GTA 5 came out September 17, 2013 and then gta online came out like a couple weeks later on October 1st. Probably longer than 2 weeks tho

99% of people played GTA 5 for the story, but the streaming / content creation side of things is all on private servers so the perception becomes that the modded servers are the main drive of the fan base when it's not. Every GTA has been great because of it's story. The multiplayer and modding is secondary. I do think GTA 5 had the biggest multiplayer out of all the other GTAs by far though so things will probably change for 6. I still think the story is the main thing most people will play though.

I think the basic premise of most GTA games is starting from nothing and building your way up any way you can. Usually money is the original motivator but as the story progresses things change and a lot of feelings and moral dilemmas get involved.

It honestly doesn’t look as good as it should for the amount of time it’s been in development. I mean Revelation looks better than this. Besides not having a physical copy is a big slap in the face to all gamers around the world. It is GTA however so people are gonna suck it off no matter what sadly.
