i don’t think doflamingo’s fruit is inherently that crazy, he’s just extremely creative with it and knows how to use it well. for example foxy has a really good fruit too, but he’s weak and kind of an idiot, so he doesn't use it to its full potential. people like doflamingo push their abilities as far as they can. and if his haki was weak, he’d be pretty easy to defeat i think.

Yes!! That's what I love about the power system in One Piece. You can have a "useless" or "worthless" fruit and you can make it powerful based on your own abilities, creativity, and being intellectual (battle iq). Ace used to make fun of Luffy for his fruit as kids and would say "would can you do with rubber?". Now, throughout all those training/practice and Luffy being smart with fighting, he became so strong. Not even counting his fruit, Luffy is also so physically strong. I love seeing how creative Oda gets with devil fruits

Pica's voice reveal is too funny. It's always almost off-putting seeing Doffy so caring/loyal/protecting of his "family", when for everyone else he literally makes it a living hell or wants to kill/torute them.

This is a classic Oda colour spread for chapter 750 (in this batch), with Luffy, Zoro, Law and the Colosseum gang. Just like the Supernovas in Sabaody, Oda once again has created a great set of characters for an arc, all with unique personality, motives, powers and design, and has expanded the the world a bit more at the same time.

Doflamingo's fruit is good but it's not really that crazy on its own. Idk if you guys remember what Crocodile said back in Alabasta right before he turned Luffy into a donut: "Depending on one's training and how they're used, Devil Fruit abilities can become a means of fighting as powerful as any. I'm not like you other fools, who are only preoccupied with your abilities." (Aura btw) Doflamingo is the proof of that philosophy, and I guess so is Luffy cos realistically wtf can string or rubber really do. Imagine usopp trying to pilot doffy's fruit, he might make a couple thousand berries doing puppet gigs on the side but he ain't putting up doffy numbers. Objectively these fruits don't compare to the logias or likes of whitebeard & Blackbeard's fruits, but Luffy and doffy's creativity and battle IQ gets the best out of the fruits and makes them seem op. Give Frank Vogel LeBron and AD and he brings home a chip, give them to Darwin Ham... 🤷🏾🤷🏾

They projected on big screens similar to this in Fishman island and in Punk Hazard. They even explained it back then. Its a common thing in the New World. It'd be odd if the explained every arc.

Even if it's far from perfect, there's plenty that they edit well even amongst this arc which is their very first edit. It's way easier for ppl to disregard the good edits and then drop comments when they think the edits are bad. Genuinely the only critically bad edit I've seen in all of one pace so far is that scene being removed of robin being turned into a toy.

Its more like he sits on top of dressrosa and then picks a batch of ppl to control at once, as implied by a bunch of strings entering a place at the same time and then leaving again. He doesnt have thousands of ppl under his control at once. Its a few at a time cause we see people just following the mission starting to riot and cause chaos and even there its just a few ppl at a time max

Disagreed, as I dont think Sabo can do what Luffy does this arc. Also to the other commenters point, Sabo has been training in Haki longer, but he's a devil fruit noob. Literally not even 24 hours with it, where Luffy has been using his for a decade at least. And Luffy has been training his Haki a lot longer than Sabo with his fruit, so it's not really equal in that regard.

The One Piece slander is diabolical 😭. I actually didn't mind the pacing in the OG Dressrosa arc but the amount of flashbacks were insane 💀. I actually like a lot of the slower moments (not all of them...looking at you Thriller Bark 👀), but the beat arc so far IMHO is egghead. I have to disagree with many and say this anime is actually really really good even with its downs (I'm saying this as a JoJo fan). But yea.
