Chill. It was only 2 hrs ago and they don't even get to see the full thing. I'm assuming YT videos just take longer to edit so they might want to get that out of the way first.

Sterling

I'm super hyped for this 🥰

I'm chill lmao was just asking because they don't do this with any other anime so I was just curious

IchiGoat

is this the surprise?

I think they also did it when the AoT special dropped. My best guess is the editing side of it as well as putting content out on YouTube while the hype is still out there :)

I don't think so. Maybe is just me but I kind of assumed they would keep uploading DS after their last video. So I wouldn't call it a surprise but I could be wrong.

Hoping for several episodes of death note today because of 3:24 👀

Fátima Quintero

If is Death Note I'm going to lose it 😭✨✨✨

It surprises me how many people are death note fans. It’s kind of too slowly paced for me. And the ending sucked (in my opinion). Maybe I’m just not really a fan of cat and mouse type animes

There are short clips at the end of every episode, after the credits. Not sure if you already knew but I just wanted to mention it just in case you didn’t know and wanted to watch them! 😊

i heard that eps 26-36 kinda change up some things that dont stick to the manga or whatever then the ending is good, idrk cuz im on ep 14 rn but its pretty lit. i think the reason why its loved so much is cuz its a unique anime. You dont really see much anime anymore or any anime in general like death note besides code geass (that i can think of).

ufotable does light and colors so well! Also I actually really liked the cgi. It was unique

I heard the author originally wanted to end after ep 25th and was forced to write more because it became successfull

This may be too much to ask, but I think it would be really interesting to see y’all’s reactions to some of the studio Ghibli movies if you haven’t seen them. My Neighbor Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle, and especially Princess Mononoke imo would be really fun to watch. They are beautiful movies and it would be a nice in-between watch while you guys react to Vinland Saga and Demon Slayer. Especially since the movies are more light hearted and less action oriented while being more focused on artistry and storytelling in the “show-don’t-tell” way
