Miscellaneous Immortality! The Women (1939) // Cherish // Hard Candy // Hedwig & the angry inch // Kids in the Hall Brain Candy// Mallrats // Teeth Ever After is SUCH A FUN MOVIE! I own Kids in the Hall Brain Candy & The Girl Most Likely To...(a Stockard Channing made for TV movie) on DVD. Also don't own a DVD player. Stayed in Rehoboth Beach & the hotel had a DVD player in our room. Was so mad I hadn't read the amenities & brought them! Suzy Izzard♡♡ Long Island it's 1) what high school did you go to 2) what sport did you play?

Elizabeth Staples

Pretty sure the John Travolta movie is Get Shortie or the sequel

Lora Dailey

People from St. Louis also immediately ask each other “where did you go to high school??” when we encounter each other in the wild.

devin

I was in third grade when Cars 2 came out and I remember being SO disturbed by the torture/murder of the american agent car by the evil monocle car

Elizabeth Staples

I have a PS4 and it will read DVDs I don’t know if the PS5 does cause I don’t have one yet but will be a consideration.

ScrambledPhoenixEggs

Miscellaneous Immorality is like that polished rock bin at every tourist stop where you get to paw through and pick the prettiest ones you like the best and put them in a little black bag to take home and admire.

ScrambledPhoenixEggs

Also dying laughing because my speech to text turned "miscellaneous immorality" into "Philadelphia immorality". I almost didn't correct it. 😂

MissAdenine

Loving the Mr. Third giggles in this one 😂

DredgenJedi

Miscellaneous immorality Favorite movie remains Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse, which movie guide would give four stars for being a well-made movie, but a minus four because the main character is a black boy, and the main “villain” is a literal white guy in The Spot.

DredgenJedi

PS5 will read DVDs. I have one and have at least checked, even if I haven’t actually watched one.

Morris Fishbein Fan Club

My favorite movies are Perfect Blue (1997), The Red Shoes (1948), Suspiria (1977), and Pearl (2022)

AllTAllShade

Miscellaneous Immorality is how you know who’s cool and who’s not! Love the Mr. Third laughs in this! Excellent choice with Boogie Nights! My favourite movie is Elephant. I don’t know many others who’ve see it, but it’s a Gus Van Sant masterpiece!

This Username is Already Taken

Not sure if it was intentional, but just a heads up if it’s not; this upload on Apple Podcasts doesn’t have any description at all, nothing shows.

That_Wokelahoman_Teacher

Finally, another Jew who hates Seinfeld! When my Catholic in-laws met me and they yelled “We love Seinfeld! We’re fine with Jews!” Right out of the gate was a red flag twice over. We don’t visit 😬

Kari McCormick

Mrs P, if you meet someone from St. Louis, MO you immediately ask which high school also. (Not a StL resident, but I'm just over the river).

Kari McCormick

Yes!!!! I love Mr Third's increasing involvement!!!!

Kari McCormick

Miscellaneous Immorality. I don't know if I could ever pick a favorite movie.

Vibin’ in the mind palace

Miscellaneous immorality is an epic phrase 😂. Great episode - Ever After is one of my fav movies too. I recently watched the whole John Wick series (including Ballerina) with my friends (loved the series). Had to go to the website & look up the ratings - all of them were “-3” except John Wick 4, which was “-2”. One of my favorite lines in the review was “some of it is rather implausible if not impossible” when talking about the violence. Biggest understatement 😂

Janinemania500

Ever After, Aladdin, and The Devil Wears Prada are top 3... and now that I sit back and think about those 3.. my hyper independence and miscellaneous immorality make a lot of sense 😂

Pelicans are my favorite dinosaur

I loved "The Menu" and "Conclave". I always refer to Ralph Fiennes as "my husband". My favorite movie is "Manhunter" (1986). I love you three. Mr. Third doesn't say much but he is greatly appreciated.

Almanac_Gossip_Girl

I would buy so much "miscellaneous immorality" merch 😂 I now want to use this site to find something to watch bc if they hate the family acceptability of it I know I'll like it

Almanac_Gossip_Girl

My favorite movie varies by mood but it's either Alice in Wonderland or The Sword in the Stone (1963)

Shut_Up_I'm_Fabulous

Miscellaneous immorality. I also vote for merch. If forced to vote for a favorite… probably Noise’s Off. (Check it out, the cast is unreal)

Sophie the Bisexual Political Scientist

As someone w PSTD from these websites, the violence scale is about how visually graphic it is. The Death Star might blow up a city or two but you’re not seeing people on screen with limbs cut off and blood gushing around etc. Also yes there are SEVERAL OF THESE RATING SITES

SwampAstronaut

This podcast would be rated -4 with the ACAP warning.

S•P•Q•R

Miscellaneous Immorality. Both Wicked and M3gan 2.0 get -2 and ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wicked has "None" in language and nudity, and "Light" in violence and sex, but M3gan 2.0 has "Moderate" in language and violence and "Light" in sex and nudity. Oh, the nudity in question? ""Man who takes woman into his living quarters loosens the top of his robe to show a muscled chest that’s clearly been artificially enhanced, thus adding to some of the movie’s corny humor;""

KY_man84

I just looked up the review of Fried Green Tomatoes. “FRIED GREEN TOMATOES is a tacky effort to dress up worn out feminist cliches in ruffled sleeves and southern drawls. According to the film, to be liberated means to drink, gamble, fight, get a job, and tell men where to get off…” HAHAHA

Kate The Great

Miscellaneous Immorality. Also, I identify as a sensitive adult. 🙋🏼‍♀️🫣 I avoid horror movies and movies with excessive gore or violence. My anxiety can't handle that shit.

Psyunide

Miscellaneous Immorality I want to know how the entire Tremors serious does on this website? Is it negative for all the violence or positive for being pro 2a? Also Fuck the Reagans.

Michelle Miller

Miscellaneous immorality I loved that you referenced Choose your own adventure. You should follow their threads account. It’s AMAZING! I also want to shout out my librarian friends Abby and Peter have a podcast called “Choose Your Own Bookclub” where they go through the original series and point out what’s awesome and where the authors missed the mark Highly recommend!

Kristen Cocciante

I love hearing from Mr third every once in awhile, I feel like the blind child watching Mr Roger’s neighborhood hearing him feed the fish lol shout out to Mr third, very glad he has a mic, tell him I said hi :) Miscellaneous immorality 👌👌 favorite movie is so hard but I do wanna know what they think about Captain America: Winter Soldier bc it almost says Nazis are bad and I feel like they wouldn’t like that lmao

shelse

Miscellaneous Immorality is my band name. I don't know how I'm supposed to pick a favourite movie. There are different movies that speak to me when the vibes are right. I guess the movie that I just find infinitely rewatchable is War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. I don't know why. It's not good. But I fucking love it.

Tough_Angie

Miscellaneous immorality The Little Princess

An Earth Worm Having A Seizure

✨Miscellaneous Immorality✨ Favorite Movies: You’ve Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, Princess Bride, Princess Diaries, Easy A, Mean Girls

DamnYouVodka

This is the third time in a week that one of the podcasts I listen to made a comment about Willem Dafoe's dong -- the universe really wanted me to know this.

Arlo the Average

Apparently Pretty Woman is only a -2. Sex and nudity are listed under “none” which is not how I remember that movie

Lazar_Swan

The Big Lebowski, surely full of miscellaneous immorality!

Mally_and_the_concrete_duckies

A movie I loved: "...scene for scene, POOR THINGS stands as one of the most obscene major motion pictures ever released by Hollywood." They don't even get into the stabbing a cadaver for fun, attempted female genital mutilation, and replacing the main villains brain with that of a goat. They do make sure to point out her relationship with a *black* woman and lament how *very sad* it is that of all the sex in the movie, only the lesbian sex is shown as having any tenderness. 10/10, highly recommend, do not watch around kids, prudes, or your parents. Lots of symbolism and metaphor built into the movie, amazing cinematography, cgi, and music. They did an AMAZING job at what they set out to create.

Arlo the Average

Also: Miscellaneous Immorality, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (no review listed)

David Burrows

You should call the new comment/engagement show An Engagement with a Throuple

annoyedinthevoid

I wanna see if Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind has that miscellaneous immortality

Soup.4.The.Pearlmans

Ok this is nostalgia for me. I don’t know if it was this site, but my mom used to go to a website like this all the time before taking us to the movies. Like I remember having to let her look the movies up on it before she’d let me go with my friends. Luckily we escaped the evangelical CN world in 2011. Right before the rise of Trump into politics. As my 8yr old used to say, “That……….**looks at you like😏**……….. Was a close one.”

Soup.4.The.Pearlmans

Also I do remember them pushing LOTR as a Christian movie series. Like I was so brainwashed I didn’t even know it wasn’t until VERY recently.

Spanky Funker

Alex’s Godzilla Minus One movie going experience is far too close to my own experience lol

TheChaosPierogi

I need miscellaneous immorality merch immediately lol Also now I will be spending my work day looking up Grind, Out Cold, and The Rundown ( yeah I know this has the Rock in safari gear but it might be the first movie with the Rock in safari gear) 😆

Nixie

Dying to know what they think of Children of the Corn

Cherry_Vanilla_Coke_Supremacy

I loved the Menu! I had avoided trailers and such so I literally had no idea what I was getting into 😂

✨Sparkling Misandry✨

Ahahaha you should look up "shoot 'em up" and then if you haven't seen it, go watch it. It's absolutely ridiculous and so much fun. Chock full of miscellaneous immorality (also shut up and take my money I will buy that notebook immediately)

Tyrannosaurus Bex

Miscellaneous Immorality might need to go on merch. Suzie Eddie Izzard is an icon and we love her. Godzilla is a great choice to gage this website, KOM is my personal favorite of the modern American series, so thanks for that, and Minus One is a heartwrenching masterpiece, the lead characters are a trio of war orphans who stick together so hard that they just become a standard family, and the Boats! The boats at the end always get me, just sobbing, it's so beautiful

Jennifer

Listen, I would buy a too many tabs miscellaneous immorality T shirt! I can't pick just one favorite movie, but an absolute comfort movie for me is Pacific Rim.

Svet ✨

Best movie: RRR (Miscellaneous immorality)

Harley Watkins

Wow this brought back memories. I used to be in a youth group in high school and our youth leader used this website religiously. Ha. This same leader also told us not to believe/trust science because he saw someone say carbon dating was unreliable because they tried to carbon date a bagel…

KingCoreyBear

Miscellaneous Immorality! These review writers are a bunch of freaks! 😂 My favorite film I grew up with is Labyrinth with David Bowie. Dance, magic dance, baby!

Stuck in Koala Kanyan

Be Cool is the movie John Travolta says "...you can say fuck once"

Pirin Tablets

I wasn’t interested in Minus One when my husband put it on, but I was sobbing by the end. So good.

Pirin Tablets

I need to see if they have Tiptoes with Gary Oldman 😂

CheeseDizMilk

WE NEED A PART TWO! Gotta see all our classic 90 and early 2000 movies review! Main importantly! Having Mr. Third laugh throughout Mrs. P explanation was the icing on the cake for the horror explanation (Miscellaneous immortality)

Short_Range_Attack_Chicken

Omg thank you I think I have my sister of perpetual indulgence name!! (Work in progress but this was my first thought. ) Miss Cella Anus Emma-o-Raylity!!

Short_Range_Attack_Chicken

My favorite movie that I will never say no to watch is Young Frankenstein. For that matter any Mel Brooks films I’m huge fan.

gimme that sweet sweet dopamine

I need an episode on Trump derangement syndrome. I need to hear Mr.P’s reaction to some of the studies.

Jonathan Scratch

Oh...oh, Alex, Mrs. P...I hate doin shit like this but...You gotta watch Andor. It's gonna make you sad and angry with how relevant it is and how well it understands the systems of facisim and rebellion, but it is a goddamned masterpiece.

amanaybeak

I was a kid when Harry Potter came out and it was the biggest thing in the world, and our teacher would read it to us in school and I was so thrilled. But my mom who is extraordinarily Catholic went down to the school and said that I couldn't participate in the reading of Harry Potter and I had to sit on the other side of the classroom and do spelling homework while the other kids got to listen to Harry Potter being read. And then I always wondered why I had no friends at school.

amanaybeak

Also, my top five favorite movies are: Amelie, Moonstruck, Rocky Horror, Hocus Pocus, and Sixteen Candles.

MatchaParty

YALL. I just got out of a govt meeting with health care for my state. This gave me hope and honestly an excellent escape. Don’t stop what you’re doing. I appreciate the blend of good news and bad. And entertainment to cast out the bad. But we should still know what’s going on. And Alex represents and Mrs. P brings it back. A good mix of Yin and yang ☯️

MatchaParty

If yall don’t make more ima send so many dms 😂 JK!

kaeleeeeee

I’m gonna need y’all to look up Mormonism Star Wars analogy for a good laugh

Leigh-Ann Florence

I want to see their score for Practical Magic. I'm ready to buy the Miscellaneous Immorality merch! Lol

Stuck in Koala Kanyan

Zendaya doesn't get enough credit for her brilliant Bruno Mars performance

Jessipoot

I now have to watch the lighthouse. It sounds like a riot.

Jessipoot

I rewatched the menu, and the funny parts jumped out at me this time. the best part was when the actor was trying to figure out why he was there and the chef tells him it’s because his movie was shit and ruined his day off. Then he asks his assistant where she went to school, she says brown, he asks if she has debt, she says no, and he says yeah you’ll be dying. And when the chef breaks the spirit of Margot’s insufferable date.

Always Wright

The Witch got the most scathing review “all moviegoers are advised not to allow THE WITCH to pollute their minds either.

You’re Doing a Great Job

If you do movies again please look up my favorite, Clue! (based on the board game). Or my second favorite, The Family Stone. Both are EXCELLENT movies if you haven’t seen them before. (Miscellaneous immorality)

Witch Of The Waste

Miscellaneous immorality! Favorite movie is a tie between The Princess Bride and Labyrinth

Jessipoot

I had to double check that you weren’t my little sister with that username. She would come up with that or something very similar.

Mun

All this being said, when I'm vetting movies and books for my students, I go to Common Sense Media.

Isthisthingon

Miscellaneous immorality. Favorite movie is Dirty Dancing

Mrs.PoopFeet

More Cars 2 deep dives 😂😂

Doc Squid 23

Miscellaneous Immorality FTW!!!

a lesbian with a sword

this is one of my favorite episodes y'all have ever done. not my absolute favorite movie but i had to see what this site had to say about The Substance and they actually had a pretty nuanced view of the movie that surprised me until i was suddenly hit with "Leave it to the Marxist, humanist feminists in the entertainment industry, however, to beat a dead horse." also hilarious that under this review for the substance (-3) there's a very nice and safe movie review i can read for "A Christmas Prayer" (+4).

Deafleader

Good old dommy mommy dimitrescu

Deafleader

Wait. Why is FARTING worthy of note 😭

Co-Op Chaos Podcast

I know you said you don't check comments on old posts but I had to for this one. Here are 3 of my favorite movies... Freaked(1993): 4 stars, -2 score Fight Club(1999): 4 stars, -4 score The Hudsucker Proxy(1994): (i think they actually liked this one based on the review) 3 stars, -1 score 🤣🤣🤣 Oh also, "miscellaneous immorality"
