Dice VFX Fix And Mindscape Update (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone, you knew this one was coming! Dice VFX was reported as broken some days ago because of the new Dice So Nice update so I had to fix it as soon as possible! Mindscape also got an update with feedback from the community implemented and some small adjustments + fixes!
Dice VFX
This was already shipped a couple of days ago (As this was somewhat urgent). Fixed the module doing nothing after updating Dice So Nice to 6.x. Dice So Nice reworked its internals, so Dice VFX could no longer detect when a roll started or find the 3D scene to draw on.
Mindscape
GM Note
You can now change the size of the text in the GM note
The Text field when writing the GM Note expands to show all written text (making it easier to write long notes)
You can now resize the GM note to change it's shape
Dragging a portrait on a Mindscape scene no longer makes it jump so the cursor sits at its center. Portraits now move from wherever you actually grabbed them, holding that exact spot for the whole drag
The User couldn't drag actors to the dramatic entrance if it was already in the Mindscape canvas, now fixed
The Mindscape settings page has been reworked to look and read better, this was necessary because there were so many options
Added the ability to create and choose between different actors board, clicking on the actors boards' name will open up a drop down with create, rename, and delete options
New setting under Portraits: "Show Name Under Portraits" (off by default)
When enabled, newly placed portrait tokens display the character name beneath them
Details Panel Portrait Fix
The portrait in the actor details panel now shows for any actor when the setting is enabled, not only for actors placed on the current board
Mirror & Rotate (Portrait Tokens)
Mirror: Click the mirror button on the left side of the portrait HUD to flip the portrait horizontally.
Rotate: Hold the rotate button and drag left/right to tilt the portrait freely. Click the button without dragging to reset back to upright.
I'm trying to get through the lists of requests gathered from the community so I can continue the work on Game Computer! Next update is for Dice Chronicle and Enhanced Inventory (Again! The module with the most feedback!).
This month has been a very busy month, I've been pushing myself a bit because I felt a tiny bit guilty about taking so long to work on Game Computer last month lol. Working overtime on the VTM system also took some wind out of me, so I'll be easing up a tiny bit after the next update!
Thank you all for your support as always! I couldn't do this without you!
