This archival piece has been dusted off and fitted with a brand-new illustration in the Achewood style — namely, I dug into my big trusty folder of all pre-2000s corporate logo EPS files and just let myself dream of what might have been.

Original run date December 29, 2008 in the Achewood Fanflow. Unavailable since 2011.

OK SO 2 things: Good call Molly on keeping the garbanzos and thinking of a way Beef will enjoy them. And also, have you ever heard of a book called Minnie Maloney and Macaroni by Mark Alan Stamaty? It was published in 1976 so it very well might have been in your hands at some point. The logos you put in remind me so much of the labels on the store scenes in that book.
