OMG I had NO IDEA Jack Lemmon was in this, what a friggen amazing surprise!!! I was really in the mood for a sweet, fun movie like this, and it delivered! I have a few issues with it, but overall I felt like it was wholesome, charming, and a nice message never to stop living!!! Sometimes you just need to throw a movie like this into the mix!!

Enjoy, Morons! 🤣😂🤣😂

Man I’m stuck at work right now, but can’t wait to get home to watch this tonight. Back many years ago, when I was a freshman in college, my roommates & I could quote this movie start to finish. It’s not out to save the world. It’s not meant to be some think piece to alter your view point of world perception. It’s just stacked with classic actors, with a half assed semblance of story line, and let these folks riff off one another! And it always looked like that’s egg-zactly what they did, imo. And Burgess Meredith steals every scene he is in!! 🤣🤣🤣

It's safe to say we ALL have that one friend we always greet with an "insult". The cast chemistry in this is phenomenal. Simple story, simple setting, but it really does check every box. My favorite is of course Burgess Meredith, the dad, and you're 100% right Ames, he absolutely steals every scene he's in. Great reaction and really insightful thoughts. Can't wait for the next one!

That was awesome!!! Post reaction … reaction! 1st, you’ve never seen Splash??? Whaaa??? Super silly movie, but Daryl Hannah is smokin’ like a broke stove in that movie!! 2nd, clearly the writers were influenced & inspired to reunite Matthau & Lemmon in this based on their on screen connection in The Odd Couple (1968), which is another amazing must see movie, if you dug their chemistry together in Grumpy Old Men. I cannot watch this in 2026, and not be nostalgic for lifelong artists who I grew up with that are no longer with us today. Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Burgess Meredith, & Ossie Davis are all no longer with us, yet I can still remember seeing ALL of them in movies I’ve watched my entire life. It’s the artists among us. The actors & painters. Writers & thespians. Poets & dancers. Singers & performers. They will live forever. Long after they are gone & we are gone… 🥹❤️

Hey, Happy Father's Day to the Dads. This is a perfect movie for Dad's Day, isn't it?

Burgess Meredith is the best. Lemmon and Matthau together is just pure perfection. Not the biggest fan of Ariel though. She is nuts. Next up the sequel which is even better since it has Sophia Loren. The hospital friend or family scene always gets me. Walter really sells the emotion. You putz!
