Hey Everyone!

Hope you are having a kick ass summer! It's starting to get really warm here, which I LOVE! Summer is my fave time of year!!!

I haven't watched the 2 movies up this week, but I sure as heck am excited for them!

Here is this week's LINE UP!

TNG Tuesday - S4xE22 "Half a Life" You guys... Not to be a buzzkill, but that was my least fave TNG episode of all time! I still think it raises interesting TNG questions, and the ending almost cracked me up! But, it had to happen at one point! Nonetheless, TNG is still cozy, fun, and amazing! No matter what!

Friday - Wheel Spin Winner! Congrats! Man, am I ever excited that this landed on the wheel! Let me say that I feel a touch lucky!!!

Sunday - Poll Runner-UP! For a Few Dollars More (1965) FINALLY! If you want to watch The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and A Fistful of Dollars, they are already on my Patreon!

Thank you all for being here to watch movies with me!!!! Means a lot to have you here!

Let me know what you have been up to down below in the comments! What movies are you most excited for? I am feeling like a summer horror movie and a classic blockbuster I haven't seen yet!

Yes! " For A few dollars more" is my favorite out of the trilogy... I say Lee Van Cleef and Clint Eastwood work better as allies rather than enemies.

Steven Ortiz

I'll be sure to get my suggestions ready for the next poll. Got three already in mind for the summer horror movies.

Brendon Waldron

In Half a Life's defence, you did skip large chunks of season 1 and 2, so there were more contenders for least fave that you missed out on lol

Yes! High five to Brando! And always psyched to see what the wheel brings. Especially if you feel psyched about the win!

As much as you liked Tombstone, I csn't wait to see what you think about For A Few Dollars More, which is the 2nd movie of the Dollars trilogy that made Clint Eastwood a star. A Fistful of Dollars is the 1st movie of the trilogy and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is the 3rd and best movie of the trilogy. ✌️

My case for Half a Life: - Excellent performance by guest star David Ogden Stiers, with a scientist's restrained under the surface emotions helping to make more poignant the occasional outbursts as the pain of his dilemma escalated - Majel Barret as Lwaxana Troi. Gene Roddenberry's wife deserved a lot more respect than the clown of a character she was given in earlier seasons, and this was her chance for a seriously meaty part. Somehow, unimaginably, she was able to pull it off while still staying in character consistent with her earlier seasons but turning it into something more powerful for this episode. Since you were spared the initiation ritual of suffering through a lot of earlier episodes you probably didn't have the surprise and joy based on such low prior expectations I had! - Michelle Forbes with a one scene mike drop powerful appearance as Timmison's daughter. And sporting the most ridiculous laughable hairdo in all of sci-fi history - A reasonably balanced presentation of both sides of the issue, instead of one dimensional mustache twirling antagonists. OK the administrator on the planet was one dimensional but he was more of a prop than a character so I can live with that. - They didn't go for the standard "our values win out in the end" resolution. Instead they had a resolution.

Yay! We're finally doing this! Thank you to everyone who voted along with me. It feels like so many times, FAFDM was at the top-end of the poll results, just below what you ended up watching. Good things come to those who wait!

A Few Dollars More is a great spaghetti Western! Yay!

Ohh, I'm surprised you didn't like Half a Life. It's by far my favorite Lwaxana Troi episode, and I thought the performances were great.

So, off topic, I’ve seen our host have discussions about the World Cup, and what a fan she is following. Well Today, at NRG Stadium, which is a 15 minute drive from where I live, Portugal vs. Uzbekistan is going down at noon today. I know the World Cup is a big deal outside of the US, but it’s just never been something I’ve followed much. However, seeing that I’m off work today, I decided to look up tickets a couple of days ago, to see if I could find anything last minute & see what all the excitement was about. What I found 2 days ago on aftermarket sites, is tickets were STARTING at $4k (for ONE ticket?!?!), going up to as high at $18k (again for just ONE ticket????). Umm yea, no thank you. I shall be watching from the couch! Holy crap!!! I thought my Metallica tickets last summer were expensive!! 🤣

I am very very happy :) Also: continue to give your honest opinion whether you like or dislike something. That’s why we’re here!
