"I’m stressing about the algorithm..." - Elon Musk (@elonmusk)

ATTN: Mae (@Maerob420), Clinton (@vanquishfoes), and myself are working with Tesla Marketing for the July 4th event at Houston's Cypress and League City locations. As always, those in, around, or nowhere near should come, so make plans to attend. More info soon.

■ TESLA $TSLA ($326.09, +5.67%):

- Well, this happened today. A driver-free Model Y label Robotaxi was spotted on the streets of Austin, Texas. Once this video was posted, it spread like wild-fire across X and we got a lot of responses from the Tesla Team. Here are the highlights...

Per Elon today:

  • "These are unmodified Tesla cars coming straight from the factory, meaning that every Tesla coming out of our factories is capable of unsupervised self-driving!"

  • "The automakers keep being told that this isn’t real or that just buying some hardware from Nvidia will solve it. As Tesla Robotaxis become widespread and their other solutions don’t work, they will naturally turn to us."

  • "The streets will change very rapidly. Autonomous cars will be very common throughout the world in 2 to 3 years."

  • "It’s a new version of software, but will merge to main branch soon. We have a more advanced model in alpha stage that has ~4X the params, but still requires a lot of polishing. That’s probably ready for deploy in a few months."

  • "~4.5X increase in params should be ready for wide release later this year. Super frugal use of memory bandwidth, caching exactly what is needed & squeezing microseconds out of everything are needed to maintain the frame rate. And the whole system needs to be retrained."

  • "Tesla AI/Autopilot could probably beat the best human around a track already. Eventually, it really won’t be a contest at all. Human reflexes cannot match machines."

Per Ashok Elluswamy (@aelluswamy), "Slowly slowly at first, then…"

Per Eric (@EricETesla), Tesla's Lead Engineer for Robotaxi, "It's go time."

Per Srihari Sampathkumar (@srihari__), "A tremendous amount of testing is underway to ensure a safe and slow rollout in the beginning. The future is going to be wild!"

- The North American Council for Freight Efficiency's (NACFE) third Run on Less - Messy Middle brought them to Saia Inc. in Stockton, California. Tesla Semi Lead Dan Priestley was on hand explaining how they are running a Semi on a dual route of city and long haul.

- The new Tesla Service Center and Showroom in Aalborg, Denmark. It will include 16 Superchargers.

- For May, the Model Y once again became the No.1 selling SUV in China with 24,770 sold. But, for the first week of June, there was a 34% WoW drop in insured Model Ys in China. Only 8,600 were insured. Not yet sure what caused the decrease.

- Tesla was spotted driving around Giga Texas again! Video by adestoop (@antoinedestoop).

- In the U.S., the Model Y RWD can be Leased for $399/mo. or financed at 1.99% for 72 months with 15% down! Must take delivery by the 30th of June.

- Tesla will be at Fieldays 2025, the Southern Hemisphere's largest agricultural event, held annually at the Mystery Creek Events Centre in Hamilton, New Zealand. They will have a Model Y and Cybertruck on hand. Go check out the Team from the 11th - 14th of June.

■ SPACEX:

- This morning launch74 of Falcon 9 Starlink 12-24 took place from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. This was the 12th flight for first stage booster B1083. It previously launched Crew-8, Polaris Dawn, CRS-31, Astranis: From One to Many, IM-2, and eight Starlink missions. The booster landed on drone ship Just Read the Instructions in the Atlantic Ocean. 23 Starlinks were deployed, including 13 Direct to Cell.

- NASA Spaceflight's Ryan Caton (@dpoddolphinpro) spoke with SpaceX's Bill Gerstenmaier (@spacegerst) and asked if Elon's comments last week about Dragon meant SpaceX intends to move onto Crewed Starship capability soon and truly decommission Dragon. Per Bill, "We've flown a lot of flights... We're preparing for CRS-33 and Crew-11. In this environment it's important to stay focused on the mission. With this Axiom mission, we need to avoid this stuff that's happening on the outside."

Of note, Bill stated that Falcon 9 Booster B1094 for tomorrows Ax4 has a Liquid Oxygen leak and that it was seen on its last mission's entry burn. , They are currently working on the issue while it sits at LC-39A. Expecting to be complete with all work this evening. B1094is slated to fly NASA's Crew-11 next.

- "B12 watching over us, making sure we stay on schedule. Beautiful sunsets are a regular at Starbase." Statement and pic by SpaceX Sourcing Manager Tyler Bell (@TylerBell314).

- SpaceX President and COO, Gwynne Shotwell (@Gwynne_Shotwell) posted that Starbase has hosted 20+ schools from across the Rio Grande Valley. This included elementary STEM classes, high school rocketry teams, and college engineering programs. They did this "to see the future of space exploration being built in Texas & to help inspire them to become rocket scientists." I have been reporting as much as possible when I am made aware, but wow, over 20 schools?!

- SpaceX has been given a limited entry right to prepare Space Launch Complex 37 (SLC-37) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station for Starship operations. Ground crews are expected to begin removing Delta IV-era structures at the launch pad this week. The U.S. Air Force and Defense Department are still evaluating and finalizing the environmental review for the full take over, but have already pointed out they found no negative impacts with the proposal. Elon replied to post today saying, "Important Starship launch site."

■ THE BORING COMPANY: N/A... boring.

■ NEURALINK:

- Per Neuralink's DJ Seo (@djseo_), "There is no meaningful relevance without scale."

■ STARLINK:

- Project Naurvik is an innovative hydroponic farm located in the Canadian Arctic, specifically in Gjoa Haven, Nunavut. It looks to provide sustainable, year-round food production in one of the harshest climates on Earth and address food insecurity in remote Arctic communities. It operates off-grid, utilizing solar and wind energy and a Peplink BR2Pro with Starlink to deliver over 1 Gbps connectivity. This enables reliable remote monitoring, real-time environmental sensor data, and seamless communication with national research teams. All of this allows an advanced hydroponic system to grow fresh produce like lettuce, herbs, and strawberries in a controlled environment.

- Air New Zealand has started trialing free Starlink on two domestic aircraft, an Airbus A320 (ZK-OXE), and an ATR turboprop. The trial will assess customer feedback and performance to guide future connectivity options for its 110-aircraft fleet.

- Starlink announced they have now connected more than 6 million people across 140 countries, territories, and markets. Per Elon, "And, of course, anywhere on the oceans."

- Starlink at Best Buy.

- Today, Le Nouvelliste stated SpaceX has applied to operate a Starlink in southwestern Switzerland. The Swiss office of communications (BAKOM) confirmed the submission, and noted plans for 40 antennas in the municipality of Leuk.

■ DOGE:

Estimated Savings: $180 Billion

Amount Saved Per Taxpayer: $1,118.01

- DOGE announced that over the last three days 111 contracts were terminated with a ceiling value of $790 million and savings of $263 million. ■ ELON NEWS:

- Per Elon, "You can tell immediately that someone is a massive liar if they’re claiming I’m on drugs, as I am one of the most photographed people on Earth and am in meetings with a wide array of people 7 days a week! Moreover, I was randomly drug tested for ~3 years after one semi-puff on Joe Rogan. Not the slightest trace of drugs or alcohol was found."

MSM continues to push this narrative with out proof of abuse. If this was true, the Democrats would have already take legal action. They have not and cannot, because it is not true. What is true, is Elon is human, has literal physical pain that has resulted in multiple surgeries. He has also stated he seeks clinical help from time to time when he is in a dark place mentally. I would and have encouraged others to do the same.
