Juno has invited us into her room again, and this time under the pretense of sharing the secret of her occasional nighttime sleep aid. If she gets too psychically riled by the end of the day, this usually calms her right down.

Glass is a bitch to render. But I keep trying.

The WIP post already covered the background of this piece and I'll let it stand on its own.

I don't use the stuff myself but looks like good company nonetheless.

Glass and water are usually really difficult to get right, but I'd say you did well! The cozy atmoshpere of the piece is also lovely!

I'm not all that sleepy but I'll keep her company. Hehe, love the colors and the warm lightening. It really sets the mood.

Kiko

Superb art!

You did a great job with the glass, and I love the naturalness of the curves in her body as she’s bent over and the gloss on the leaves behind her.

Collector Canine

Eh, Juno's at her best when she loses and shorts and is NOT doing drugs. Honestly disappointed by this one.

Goddamn_Bats

Beautiful pic, lots of details (like that fern in the bg) and reflections are so vibrant!

Rasik

I love her short shorts)

Kalahari

I could stand to go through a lesson or tutorial on rendering glass, if I can find a good one... So far I've just been reasoning it out as best I can.

Kalahari

Don't be surprised if she nods off long before you do!

Kalahari

Oh yeah, I've been working on my leaf technique with each new piece, and slowly getting them looking more like I want!

Kalahari

Fair enough. Not every piece is gonna be for everyone. Juno gets up to a wide variety of things, so substance use won’t always be part of it, but it’s probably not disappearing entirely either.

Fastenjaw

The way you did the shaping on the feet is mad impressive. Heck everything is a masterpiece! Wish I could put this on my wall

Xaotherion

That may come as a surprise but glass is a bitch to render even in 3D, even with all the tech.

Kalahari

The practice gets me so far, but I really need more scenes that give the feet a chance to pose in interesting ways like this!

Kalahari

I would have thought this is one area where reflections and such could just be calculated :/ At least we can commiserate.

Xaotherion

Well, glass alone is fine. But add anything to it and the glass-liquid interface can cause a lot of headache if not done just right.
