This whole episode is so great. Light's initial panic where he thinks that he's powerless in the situation if his father calls, and then remembers he has all the power he needs and he can just turn off his cell phone. The wits about Naomi Misora in general. The ability that Light has to take advantage of her current emotional vulnerabilities, mixed with his knack for confounding truth with lies to lend his lies legitimacy. The dramatic irony of Light saying he made it just in time, even though Aizawa was technically there to catch him right when it happened. Light taunting her in the end. It was all *chef's kiss*.

What I love about this series is that you see the story from the side of the 'bad guy' . I love how you guys react to it as well haha, makes Light shine more as the villain that he is haha.

Light is starting to be more open about his malice. At first it was just to take care of evil because he thought he was the ultimate judge. Now he's just getting high off his own intellect and power. Y'now what they say absolute power and all.

What I love about this episode is how realistic Light is: real people with Antisocial Personality Disorder akin to Light’s will look for ANYTHING to grab onto in a conversation - any tiny piece of information you give them about yourself becomes a way for them to get their foot in the door and possibly manipulate you. They’re constantly looking for chips in your armor and whatever you offer up to them becomes a dagger pointed back at you Super cool to see visualized like this

Imagine if someone had that book, they could destroy the planet if they wanted. If I were crazy and had the Death Note, I'd write the names of all the presidents, generals, and commanders of every country and order them all to drop bombs all over the world. With all the bombs, not counting atomic bombs, we could destroy the Earth. If we add atomic bombs, humans are capable of destroying the Earth seven times in a row, to show you how ridiculous it is. And that way, I'd destroy everyone. Eren is an amateur compared to that, haha. But luckily, I'm not crazy, and luckily that book doesn't exist, haha.
