"Color of the Supreme King" is another translation of "Haoshoku", so just another word for Conqueror's Haki.

color of the supreme king is not pretty much conquerers, it is conquerers haki. there are different translations for conquerers haki and haki in general. some subtitles say stuff like color of armament or color of observation. hope this helps

Another fun translation thing since people have already cleared up the confusion about Color of the Supreme King (aka Conqueror's Haki): Most of Mingo's attacks are puns on the Japanese word for string. His fruit is Ito Ito no Mi (literally, String-String Fruit), so most of his attack names (if not all of them) end with the word "Ito". E.g. Athlete (pronounced athle-ito), Parasite (pronounced parasa-ito), Fallbright (pronounced forubura-ito), etc. Because of the way foreign words are pronounced in Japanese, these words aren't twisted to force fit the pun. These words would be pronounced exactly this way regardless of whether the pun was intended (although it undoubtedly is).

Was it just me?… But when I first watched this episode, I thought Doflamingo might come to the realization that Trebol had been using him from the start. Maybe he would even kill Trebol. I might be crazy, but it just felt like they were setting something else up with the flashbacks

I wonder what counts as a king? Since both luffy and doffy are both "kings" but very different

My interpretation is it's a greater than normal ability to impose one's will onto others which the prerequisite of kingship, the extent of which is a bell curve among the general population with those at the top 99.9999th percentile (one in a million as mentioned in the anime previously) get the ability to manifest it physically as haki, but thats all it is - whether the "will" is to impose good or evil is up to the individual gifted with this ability

"heavenly demon" probably refers to him being from up high in mariejois which is referred to as the land of the gods "heaven"

Colors of the supreme king is the same as conquer's. Just differnet names due to translations choices. Funimation has used three different names for it in their subittles, for example, before finally sticking with Colors of the supreme king. Fans tend to call Colors/Conquer's CoC (colors of conquerer's). Which is fun.

More so Trebol gave Doflomingo the means to do what he always wanted. I don't think he sees it as maniplulation. Rather it was an exchange, you return to me my power and ill help you with whatever. I think Trebol genuially believes that Doffy is a king and should be revered as such. He also believes that by standing in his graces, the family will be rewarded. Hence, the"gift from heaven" line.

i think Trebol was a slave like the other 3 members and they looking for revenge , look again he still have his shackles and demanti has his behavior when swing his sword like wip pika the strong slave as worker for the dragons and vergo with food stock to his face like he used to be throw at

2026-09-06 10:00 Why do you hate Donquixote Doflamingo so much? I honestly think he’s one of the best-written characters of all time and he’s cool as hell too. His backstory is really tragic… I feel like anyone who went through that as a kid could’ve ended up the same way. I’m not saying what he did was right at all, but it feels like the hate he gets is a bit too much. He’s actually pretty popular in Japan too, especially in official popularity polls.And honestly, his dad, was an idiot just look at what his decisions led to for his own wife and kids.

The Tontattas were happy because when Trebol got slashed by Law, he yelled "Pigya" just like the Tontatta did when he was stepping on them before Usopp defeated Sugar. Trebol mocked them for making that sound, so they felt vindication when he did the same.

Yes, Donquixote Homing was naive to think that he could live among the people without consequences but that doesn't make him an idiot or deserving of what happened to him and his family. I like Doflamingo as a villain and the way he is written (even cosplayed him before) but I can understand why he is hated so much. He is enslaving the people of Dressrosa and framing the king for things he himself did, and that is reason enough to dislike him. Having a tragic childhood doesn't excuse any of his actions. I know you didn't defend his actions but I think it's not that hard to see how people would hate him
