Let’s gooo love you guys thanks for the grind. This movie was a masterpiece to me. Probably top 3 anime movie of all time for me in just enjoyment

C2-H5-OH

Oh my god peak is here

C2-H5-OH

About the copyright thing, you will continue to have those as you react to newer and newer media, especially getting reports from Toei in the current One Piece arc, and several other orgs. Your usual editing algorithm might need tweaking or more censoring unfortunately.

Deonte Hall

I recently just joined for CSM and I'm so glad I did! This is an amazing series!

Ari

Yay something to watch while I wait for football lolll

TB0796

Having a full shot of powers dumptruck on the imax screen had to have been one of the most mythical things I have seen in a theater. Back in episode 5 of the anime you can see aki’s little brother reading the city mouse and the country mouse children’s book.

John Paul

Its finally here, one of the best anime movies ever.

Cisco

Need to watch the ending with the lyrics, whether it’s the music video or with the movie montage.

chance

“It’s an ugly baby and that IS a thing!” Bro 😂😂😂

Nash_75

This was my movie of the year in 2025, and I've read the manga (still aching from both medium)

Mister_Mo

The sound design of this move is so great. Just peak! It reminds me a lot of all the different sounds, the fire-powers in Fire Force have.

MoD+

A Masterpiece of a Movie. Have seen it like 10 times

LYCO

It’s finally here! Also, I really really hope you guys will watch the movie “LOOK BACK” by the same author(Tatsuki Fujimoto) as Chainsaw Man! That is a masterpiece too!

Jon D. Dane

Watching this and the Demon Slayer movie in the cinema was incredible, the music, sound and animation deserves the big screen and was probably the 2 best movie theater experiences I have had the last 10 years😄

Bruce #Ricky

the best anime movie tbh from my point of view

Adam Aucoin

I liked the show after watching the first season, but this movie made me fall in love with this show. Cant wait for season 2!

Username123

The music in this movie is really insanely good, definitely a huge robbery that it didn’t win best soundtrack at the anime awards.

Roli D. Great

The Thypoon Devil literally uses its intestines like a tornado to brew up air around it. That is why Denji had an easy battle against it, as Denji only slashed his chainsaws wherever he wanted when he stood up on the Thypoon Devil and could cut it so easily.

C2-H5-OH

I love that one of you had to give a standing ovation. *Warning, One Piece praise incoming* I sincerely hope you do give One Piece its flowers the same way when you reach there.

Alen Jiji

This is my 2nd favourite arc in chainsaw man the the movie adapted it sooo well. I'm glad you guys loved it too

Mike

💣♥️😭

Hertog

Reze best girl

floik

Thank you for reacting to Chainsaw Man! Can you please react to Classroom of the Elite next?

ABRIKOS102

in the song she sang on rooftop she spoke russian which was really funny tbh

Jonathan S

makima was watching and listening to whole time why she knew about the city mouse question

Kenshin Himura

Thank you for this. This was my first time watching this movie and it was AMAZING. Also I believe Beam is also the Future Devils voice actor. The rhythm was similar on the delivery.

Kumi Chan

When Reze was singing her Russian song, you can see makima drinking from her mug swaying to the rhythm. Makima could her reze talking about country mouse vs city mouse, that’s why she asked reze which one she preferred.

Timeismana

Your reactions were mine exactly too. I watched this in the cinema, in IMAX, and it's absolutely glorious. What a treat of a movie we got, it's a masterpiece. Loved everything about it.

Degenerick

reze > makima 💔🥀

dWr

havent seen the movie before and i loved everything about it + your reaction? really enjoyed that :)

Cesar

You should react to the ending song video from the movie. It's called "Jane Doe" by Kenshi Yonezu, the same artist who composed the movie's soundtrack. There's an official music video in Youtube that incorporates scenes directly from the film. I recommend watching it with subtitles, since the lyrics are written from the perspectives of Denji and Reze. It's really good.

PennyQuill

Yup, they went BANANAS with this movie, I knew it's gonna be good, but my jaw was on the floor at the end credits at the movie theater.

Dale Cooper

I honestly didn't know they ended so early in the story on season 1 and then did another part via the movie. Glad they did this part as the movie for sure.

AidanDiem

The thing is everything from the start was genuine. Reze actually did like denji. Notice even when they fought she laughed and called him denji while everyone else he fights calls him chainsaw. Thats why right before the "kiss" she asked him to run away with her, when he refused is when she decided to kill him.

Tobi/とび

She also spoke Russian in the manga.

Tobi/とび

Fun fact: the author of DanDaDan (Yukinobu Tatsu) was an editor for Fujimoto. In a recent Manga volume of Dandadan he added an epilogue chapter that included Denji and Beam doing their iconic sky ride scene. Sort of a congrats for the success of the movie from him to Fujimoto.

Jewy

The first time that i saw this movie i didnt BLINK once! Is amazing in every way

Raul Velazquez

When you said “I’m so obsessed with that movie” I felt that. When I got out of the theaters I was so blown away. 10/10

Raul Velazquez

Also, there was another hint that she definitely wasn’t from Japan when she said ”in Japan you need permission to shoot a gun?”

2026-09-06 10:00 And that spider and butterfly scene ended up being a complete reversal. Denji was actually the spider, and Reze was the butterfly. Because if Reze had never fallen in love with Denji, she could've killed him easily from the start, and in the end, she probably wouldn't have died either. That's what makes her tragedy hit so hard. She was sent as an assassin, but she ended up falling for the very person she was supposed to kill. In the end, Reze is truly a best girl an absolute GOAT-tier character. And I was honestly surprised that you guys didn't seem that sad for Reze or feel that bad for her.

And Reze proves that not everyone was just after Denji's heart. Her feelings for him were real—she truly loved him

miho

😭😭😭😭😭LET'S GO!!

CAM

now imagine seeing it in theaters... this movie genuinely raised chainsaw man on to my top list

TB0796

I hope they will be checking this out after their break a lot of us have been asking for it haha. There’s a suggestion channel in discord as well the more up votes it has the more attention it will get

JosephR

the first time I watched this movie, I stopped after Reze and Denji talked in the cafe. I was like "ah it's just gonna be another forced thing and this is just gonna be another typical woman character that is so flirty it feels overbearing" and I turned it off. Came back about a month later and forced myself to watch it and holy moly I realized I just needed to give it a few more minutes. One of the best anime movies I've ever seen. Reze was such a good character and it does such a good job of making Makima even more terrifying than she already was. Princess Mononoke and A Silent Voice hold the top 2 for me though lol. Also didn't expect to catch a stray for being duckfooted. Got a big laugh out of me with that.

Quinn Balsam

Im surprised I havent seen others in the comments mention this, but the composer for Chainsaw Man, Kensuke Ushio, was actually the composer for A Silent Voice as well!

Katie

Yes he's so good! Composer for Dandadan as well! I love his range even though the emotional pieces destroy me 😅

Tyler

Reze > Makima for Denji but real ones know the best ship to come out of this movie is Aki and Angel

よに 。

As others have mentioned, watching the opening and ending songs with English subtitles after seeing the main feature will make for an even more moving experience. The lyrics perfectly match the content of the film; the songs were truly written specifically for it. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well.

Sergi Arilla

2025 was an amazing year for Anime

지원

best anime movie for me

Smoker S

'' Denji has a tybe '' Got me 😂😂 Great reaction... Enjoy your break ladies.

Ms. S

Truly awesome to see how much you enjoyed this. If you ever have a chance if it comes back out you need to watch it in theaters. What a wonderful experience.

Kami

Denji thinking about the angel devil always cracks me up

Jo

It's so peak

TB0796

Yeah I couldn’t believe that either that’s why I don’t really even take them seriously anymore. In the pool and the typhoon devil ost where peak

Username123

True, csm not winning showed that those awards are really just a popularity contest

Prime Ami

Bro, I couldn't stop laughing after "that's an ugly baby and that's a thing"

Prime Ami

And people say demon slayer movie is better than this? hell no

BrorFraNord

YES, I think Look Back might be my favorite movie ever

Mars

You guys should really watch Legend of Hei 1 and 2 movies if you like this show.

Star.D.ust

I finished S1 so i could FINALLY watch this movie, even more so to see y'all have reacted to it. Truly a beautifully heartwrenching movie :(

Adam

Violence's "strategic retreat" gotta be a joseph joestar reference lol. (you guys would LOVE JoJo's Bizarre Adventures.

baka neko

the standing ovation it deserved 👏👏👏 this movie is so so good truly one of the best anime movies ive watched

Josh

I think i heard somewhere that that type of butterfly is poisonous to spiders, so in the end reze is still the spider but when she caught denji in her web, she ended up poisoning herself as she developed feelings for him, which ultimately killed her.

Amosão

The only possibility of a good ending, gone.

Aceofspades928

Just finished this movie yesterday, I'm an anime only. I cant wait to see what happens next, have so many theories but I think with how crazy this show is I doubt any of them are right.
