Svenja

Oh we're eating good today

eric beltran

the pastries she was eating towards the end were suspiciously people sized.

Don't panic

I think she ate them as well. There are also those subtle hints like Linlin was shedding so much happy tears her vision became very blurry. Why would you say it like that, if it wasn't a subtle hint.

Kapitány Zoltán

Mother Carmel, the patron saint of child trafficers...

Yiaato

Geburtstag means Birthday in german btw

Bennett DuBois

Streusen has the same laugh (kukuku) as Perospero, Linlin's first son. I think they look alike, too Oda's never confirmed Streusen to be one of her husbands, though

FlyingHavok

"Except the guy who rubs his belly" had me rolling ngl. Even though the episodes were grim and dark, you two were on fire with your commentary. Hahaha.

Bennett DuBois

her 50mil bounty at 6 is even crazier when you consider the inflation lol

Mone

I am so deeply sorry for laughing out loud a few times during certain dark and dramatic scenes... But the expressions of both of you and the timing of that joke, and everything that followed, was hilarious to watch. My apologies 🙏🏻🙈😂

Bennett DuBois

that phrasing might be... in poor taste

Mone

Oh nooooo...😶

Svenja

ah you might be right. In hindsight that comment was a little hard to swallow.

StormRages

guy remember what blackbeard did to get quake fruit

BoomerBanzai

I have been waiting literally years for this episode ever since they announced they would be watching all of One Piece!! Now time for Dark Piece

Jon

If you notice, the semla started getting bigger as the orphans and Carmel disappear. Pretty disturbing stuff.

Kevin Garcia

Almost there. Getting to the good stuff.

charlie

Really loved your guys discussions as always!

Tay

omg I miss whole cakeeeee, being caught up is too hard lmaooo.. I love experiencing it again with you girls tho!!! Ty for loving OP as much as me!!!!! <3

EgregiousGrievous

Big Mom got a taste for wiggly food as a child and it never left her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ocean Flan

Oda perfectly captured the grotesque absurdity of a Brothers Grimm Tale. Love this Arc.

Jonathon Johnson

That is actually a great question, I wonder if Oda has answered it before. If a devil fruit user was eaten by a sea-king before the drown, I assume it would work that way. I still want to know how you feed a sword a devil fruit.

Azael Santacruz

ok Hayle is actually a genius but she's still doesn't realize it yet, and 24:52 confirmed it for me ... she was getting SOMEWHERE very important but we cannot discuss that yet because of spoilers 😂

Azael Santacruz

And it is 100% confirmed she ATE ALL OF THEM!! the anime for obious resons cannot be that graphic with canibalism topic (same reason the censor/change Zeff stuff with Sanji) in the manga Oda is also NOT explicit, but in the scene where it shows the island from afar ODA made sure to add SFX onomayopeya's for sounds of "screams of horror and pain" ... 💀 that the anime didn't add

Raymundo Hernandez

noooooooo. if anyone feels bad for big mom in any capacity something is seriously wrong with you lol She was born a monster and stayed a monster.

DArt FX

I waiting for this reaction, and Blackbeard theory

DArt FX

Robin love to hear Bigmom’s backstory 😉

Veritas

"Never cook again" -- Vinsmoke Judge

Leucon

Team hayley with the blackbeard eating heart xD!

Derek Cook

I found your laughing deeply disruptive to my one piece experience. It was uncalled for.

Mone

Then I’m already sorry in advance, because I’m totally going to do it again 🤭😂🙏🏻 These two are just too entertaining to watch ✨️

Alisson Reinaldo Silva

I think Linlin was so happy she exercised her Conqueror's Haki (you can see the effect in the episode), knocking everyone out, and accidentally ate them.

Sanji Sama

That's not her fault though, she was just a child in a monster's body. Current Big Mom is a bit more complex though but I can definitely empathize with her.

Matt

I've never heard that theory, interesting. That makes a lot of sense

Erik Župa

I assume that Devil fruit is part of the person who eats it so if someone eats that person devil fruit will become part of him. If Luffy would know about ability of Streusen there would be one more mission on the table- kidnapping him. With Streusen, Luffy would be almost unstoppable. Haylee is like we will have to fight. I would rather suggest way of strategic retreat. Too many strong fighters and probably Haki users and Big Mom will be not forever in this state, she is getting angry .Luffy, Jimbe and Sanji cannot handle it all.

Wojciechu

Mother Carmel Epstein 🤮

🕊️xXZephyrus2002Xx🕊️

as messed up as it sounds maybe carmel should have let them deal with her....but then again if she didn't eat her she would have been sold to the government

eepollux

Linlin never stood a chance with the people around her. Carmel failed her, Streusen enabled her, and everyone else just used her.
