One of the BEST Sports anime but there are many more to watch and have many more hearts broken. Hope you take a breather for a show or two and then pick another!

What a journey! And it's still not over, there is a more coming next year! Y'all are one of my favorite reactors to Haikyuu! So special to you fall in love with the show. Also just wanted to warn you about all the scary Copyright stuff going around. So prepare yourself or do what you gotta do to protect yourself. Fingers crossed. Y'all are awesome!

the pov is a moment i think about so much

Congratulations on finishing your first sports anime! It's a special genre on its own, and I am glad Haikyuu was your first introduction because it really shows you the best the genre has to offer. You have now joined the ranks of the individuals waiting for 2027 for our next Haikyuu fix.

Class3oo1

yeah, people will not understand unless they watch the whole show why this is one of those masterpieces of masterpieces.. it truly is one of the best animes period.

TAROirl

run with the wind is 23 episodes and for me, it captured somewhat the energy of haikyuu season 2, i know it's really unpopular, but you might take a look

Boozombie

"im devastated and my life is changed" yep sounds like the average Haikyuu experience. This is the sports anime thats just so much more than a sports anime. It's got damn amazing.

Adam Parts

Cheers ladies for an amazing experience through and through. I've always loved your reaction style because it feels like together, you both pick up a great amount of subtle storytelling and allow yourselves to emotionally respond. I feel like the day you started Haikyu that those reactions will be a match made in heaven. Thanks for all these months of Haikyu! See you when it kicks back up again

지원

so good thank you so much always great reaction

Jose Chavez

Thank you for watching my favorite show!! This will be missed❤️

baka neko

when you thought you have finished crying over this damn volleyball show then grandpa ukai just had to reach out his hand like nooo 😭😭😭😭😭

Svenja

I knew you guys would love Kuroo after this, he is my second favorite anime character of all time.

Farseeker

I definitely cry for this whole movie.

HeartlandHunny

What do you do now? You do what the rest of us do and start up Haikyu! 1x1 and start watching the show over again! 😂 This has become my comfort show that I go to when life gets hard. And I really do encourage you to re-watch it at some point because with it being so character-driven, it gets better and better every time you watch it and notice all the little character details that you missed the first time around because there’s so much going on. And regarding favorite characters, I think mine has changed every time I’ve watched the show. They’re all just the best that there’s really no right or wrong answer for favorite character. I love them all so much!

Loved watching this and then later reading the manga when season 3 finished. This is probably up there with ping pong the animation for my favourite sports anime. Ping pong the Animation and Kuroko no Basuke are both great if you end up wanting to watch more stories centered around sports. Looking forward to code geass aswell, watched it while it came out with my brother back when we were kids. It's definitely in my top three, a both beautiful and devastating story.

Joe Layton

I've watched AND read this series probably 8 or 9 times. Kenma and Lev ALWAYS make me mad. I could be on the side of every other Nekoma player... just not them.

MeteorJuice

The movie hits differently after an immediate rewatch. It’s probably one of the best depictions of “rivalry” that these stories go for, but I think it needs all the context leading to it. BLUE LOCK NEXT. Or eventually 😋

Alec Renneker

I watched the movie by myself at the beginning of the year, but watching it with you guys was a lot better. Thank you for the reactions!

Starsong

Everybody gagsta til Old Coach Ukai reach out his damn hand

Timothy Ahn

One of the best movies out of the sports genre animes. Only another year till the next Haikyuu movie comes out!

Timothy Ahn

Also, to be fair, im not too invested in sports animes since Haikyuu was only my 2nd sports anime ive watched (well technically 3rd, since i started Blue Lock but havent finished it yet). My top favorite sports anime (just my personal), is Prince of Tennis (since it was one of my first overall animes ive watched as a kid, since i also played tennis since i was a kid). I do recommend watching it too, main series has 178 episodes, then there is New Prince of Tennis (basically a season 2 really), where they train for the U-17 world cup. And then there is the Prince of Tennis U-17 world cup seasons as well. There will be a new season that should be releasing next month.
