Please let those movie reactions come after this Arc. I been patiently waiting since Dressrosa ended. 🙏

C2-H5-OH

Funniest part about this is how everyone thinks Luffy will be on time coming out of the mirror. They truly believe he keeps time better than an actual clock, and will honor his commitments to the second

Francisco

Guys. We should definitely start letting them know how to handle the reverie arc coming. I know, we should let them watch it however they want but that reverie arc has so many flashbacks scenes in almost every ep

Lari Miron

Is the movies good? Never considered watching them because they are not canon. Even though One Piece is my all time favorite :)

Monkey D. Tomy

Is it safe to say that one piece is your favourite show/anime at this point 👀

Mike Drop

They're overseen by Oda since Strong World. They're pretty much as Canon as can be. Especially the upcoming one, I won't name the title for spoiler reasons.

Mike Drop

Please watch Film Z after this arc !!!

Lifeblock Network

Yes please. I would hate to see them react to flashbacks.

John Paul

Yes the movies are amazing imo, if you love One Piece they are definitely worth a watch.

C2-H5-OH

Falling into traps about misunderstood characters, huh? Well let's see what happens

Kokuutou92

The way the BM pirates were coping about Luffy's W is hilarious, and it definitely is his W since he's still going while Katakuri is down on the ground. Also I love how Luffy was focused on escaping until Sanji got hold of him, and then Luffy stops fighting his tiredness and stress

Kokuutou92

Missing out if you're not watching one piece movies

lucian serros

Agree, it suuucks when a reactor has to navigate this section but it is what it is

C2-H5-OH

Once again, Luffy's greatest strength is as Mihawk said; the ability to rally everyone to his side.

C2-H5-OH

Not the gum gum, not the gear 4, not the will power. Just bringing unlikely parties together in service to him

Dara Pot

This whole arc is a complete 180 for a lot of characters. Definitely an emotional rollercoaster

Felovar

What's crazy is that the straw hats are in that bad of a shape and they didn't even touch big mom. We've got a lot of growing to do before we can handle the strongest beast in the world

Lokei

Both of your comments post-872 discussion in regards to reacting to how Oda wrote his characters so he can get the intended reaction initially is spot on. As y'all mentioned, Oda-sensei intentionally does this to flesh out characters & give them depth behind them Prime example; Senor Pink. Everyone's, if not most, initial reactions to him was that the man looked extremely goofy wearing an outfit that of a baby & sucking on a pacifier. Many chapters down the road, Oda decides to pull a 180 on his character & have his entire audience appreciate Senor Pink more after the backstory to his trauma & pain he had suffered. Using his way of dressing as a way to cope w/that pain he suffered in the past instantly created that connection & sympathy towards the man. Just Oda-sensei casually flexing his talent as an amazing writer & artist

I second that, I hope they can skip the flashbacks, especially because it is not that they have stopped watching the anime for a while and can’t remember what happened in the past

Brian

they may call him a failure, and they may think of him as lesser, but he is still their brother.

Ej2996

I think you’re right the way you are looking at the brothers sending Sanji off. Put aside the fantastic setting and SciFi explanation for their lack of emotion for a moment… In a literal sense, the brothers are the way they are because their abusive father turned them into emotionless assholes. Sanji is the way he is because his mother was able to overwhelm his father’s influence, and without that influence Sanji was able to become a better person. While we’re told the three brothers are literally emotionless, they’re still prideful, they have a sense of humor, they get heart eyes looking at beautiful women, they feel anger towards Sanji the disappointment. The emotions they dont show are the things Judge wanted to suppress (fear, love, compassion). And in a literal sense they are all his victims—their father is the reason they have become terrible people, he raised them to be that way by fostering their “lack of emotion” since they were children. While I don’t think the brothers are “redeemed” in the end, and while i dont think they suddenly gained all the emotions Judge had forced out of them since birth, I think the correct read of the ending is that saving Sanji is the first things they’ve ever really done out of the “goodness of their hearts.” Their father may have turned them into emotionless assholes, but reuniting with their brother one more time and seeing him extend the closest thing to an unconditional kindness that they’ve probably ever experienced got through to them in some way, and the ending is them repaying as best they can in a manner thats still emotionally stunted due to the way they were raised.

John Paul

Yeah, but the Strawhats still messed her whole cake island to the ground.

ScratchedupPS1disc

I love Sanji picking up his captain son from his play date with Katakuri 💛

Ashley Saari

Watching One Piece is playing Try Not To Cry on level impossible.

Beefz

Ah, that's the interesting part with some of the movies, while the specific events of the movies aren't canon, certain characters, their designs, personalities, abilities, names etc are actually canon. Movies which Oda has been personally involved with tend to have certain overall lore details that are canon and hadn't even been revealed in the manga yet until the release of the movies.

Omni

I don't recall seeing any horses is long ring long land. I do recall seeing at least one hooooooooooooooorse though.

Duc Tran Viet

The brothers were rescued by Sanji. I suspect they proudly forbids being saved by a failure. That's why they take the pretext of avenging Big Mom's betrayal, but in reality they have to pay their debts and indirectly admit that Sanji has become much stronger and has not been the victim for a long time. I am happy for Sanji that he was able to work through his trauma. But his brothers are trapped in a system that leaves no feelings. You want to mediate them if they are not monsters and psychopaths.

Daniel Atkinson

I havnt watched yet. I sat down after getting some snacks with my weeks pay. It's friday, the sun is shinning, im in a great mood. I had such a happy sigh when sitting down and jumping to this page and seeing this uploaded. It is a long way off yet, I know. I appreciate you both so much and this show so much. I will miss it when we are caught up, but for today I will love it!

Nido

criminal lady commands a ship consisting of a 10 foot tall fish-man, a human reindeer, a not-human human rabbit, a corpse, and a talking cloud that she kidnapped from an old woman

N8

I’m on episode 1108, and I’m really looking forward to seeing their reactions to the later episodes. Out of all the reactors I’ve watched doing their one piece journey I love these two’s reactions the most. They genuinely love this show, they get really emotional, and are entertaining to watch. Man, I hope they’re prepared for what’s next

SamBC

My headcanon, but Yonji literally looked up to Sanji when saying goodbye, Sanji is still Yonji's older brother and younger bro always "looks up" to older bro. 👌

Lari Miron

(Mike Drop) The upcoming one of course is canon but others are not. of course Oda oversees but it doesn't mean he made them canon since they straight up contradict the story such events didn't happen they're like Specials separate from canon story and not to mention if they were canon then Oda would make them fit perfectly into the story and declare them Canon. :)

Narddogg89

I think deep down, Sanji’s brothers gained a little bit of respect for him at the end of all of this. They will never admit it, but like you all said, they give off a different vibe rather than the bullying we saw them give in his younger years, and even when he was reunited with them on Whole Cake Island.

wanira 11

They should watch the one pace version of it, it's an edited version that only keeps the manga canon content. It reduces that arc to only 3 eps and makes it way more enjoyable :)

Jon D. Dane

That sounds like BIG NEWS📸

Star.D.ust

SAME!! i alr loved one piece, but their reactions just make me enjoy it even more! i love seeing ppl love one piece, and i love how they love it!

Star.D.ust

i like to think that what sanji's brothers said was essentially what Reiju said. Our brother failed to be monsters like us, he is different and he is kind. Also! Reiju said "See ya," not "goodbye." So it feels very much like healing with the parallel to when they were kids and it was meant to be a solid cut of ties.

A2Z

Sanji getting knocked out by pekoms? This is the problem with anime filler

Skele

Were all waiting on wedding cakey

Kevin Culaba

I wonder if the Tamatebako pills had it's inspiration from Sulong. They both become white after a huge power up with devastating after effects which also reminds me about the mysterious water from Alabasta. Although with the water they don't become white but get weird markings but I do wonder if they are connected on some level.
