Realtime Gesture Video: The Witch Pack (Patreon)

Hello friends!

So excited to share this video with you! You voted for your favourite themed model reference pack courtesy of @StudioGrafit and the winning pack was The Witch!

This was such a fun theme to draw and the model was so great. It's my first time using Grafit Studio's pack and they do not disappoint.

What I love about themed gesture drawing, is that it makes it a lot easier to generate a story.

When it's a straight up nude model in classical poses, it can be tricky to find a story. But as soon as a model holds a prop or wears a costume, suddenly the story becomes more clear.

I will definitely be using their reference packs in the future for this Patreon, but in the meantime, you can buy your own packs, support Grafit Studio and see if their themed packs inspire your stories and goals more clearly.

Today's video covers:

• What to do when gestures go wrong!
• Bringing character to your gestures
• Egon Schiele

What was your favourite pose from this video?

Will you be drawing any of these poses yourself?

What do you do when a gesture goes wrong?

Ask me any questions you may have in the comments below.
