All I'm gonna say is that I am overjoyed that Zuko is finally a part of the Aang-gang!! I have waited for SO LONG for him to turn around and realise his true destiny and it is so satisfying to see him doing some good. Enjoy :)

Every time I rewatch this show I feel for Azula more and more. She's even younger than Zuko is and she never had a mother or Iroh to look out for her the way Zuko did. Growing up with only Ozai for guidance must be terrible for someone's worldview.

Even though we don't see it in the show, that moment with Sokka, Katara and their Dad hugging must have been hard for Zuko to watch, actually for everyone in the gang. Just realised none of them have happy or healthy family dynamics but atleast they get to enjoy being each other's family. This show is definitely the best when it comes to the found family trope🥺😭

if u don't want to put in a timer, you could unblur the media for 1-2 seconds a few times for the first minute or so! just to help sync it up visually instead of by the second :)

Re. syncing issues: For this series I just have to pay attention throughout the video really, my episodes never have a "previously" segment so I have to sync up after that anyway (usually when the title card fades out) and the breaks (where ads would go) are shorter so it doesn't line up all the way anyway xD It is what it is. I don't think a timestamp would help really. I think it would sometimes help if you mentioned at the start what streaming service or whatever you're using? Netflix and prime and paramount+ and apple or whatever may have slightly different versions available, not to mention DVDs/blu-rays, so it could be useful (but even then it's kinda whatever... when you were watching the Hunger Games series I ended up using a VPN to watch Australian netflix because Norwegian netflix had a version that was slightly faster so it would get wonky after a few minutes......) Honestly there's no perfect solution really 🤔 It doesn't bother me to have to double-check and re-sync a few times! Showing 1-2 seconds of unblurred footage every now and then like someone else mentioned couldn't hurt 👍

My other comment got super long but I really wanna yell about these episodes! It's hard to pick faves because the show is so great pretty much from beginning to end but I adore every single one of these, I love Zuko to bits and the relationship building and character progression in these "Zuko road trip" episodes is just god-tier to me. I love that they took the time to give him meaningful interactions with everyone individually, we see several new sides to Zuko but to the other characters as well once they're separated from the group, it's so interesting and entertaining and honestly kinda emotional. I love Aang's physicality with Zuko so much? The way he just grabs him and drags him around is really funny and really sweet, I love that he's so quick to trust him. :')

Sync is fine for me if you show the initial frames like you already do. Maybe it can be more helpful if you show the visual clearly after a black screen too, because the duration of these can vary slightly among versions. I can manage currently with the blurry image, but the clear image for just a couple of seconds there would be more helpful. Thanks!

Regarding syncing, you could go through all that to help but there still could be issues once people are sync’d up with you. I am quite good at syncing my Netflix with your video and it’ll still get off by a couple of seconds while watching. I’m constantly resyncing due to whatever is causing them to become unsync’d. I just end up doing a lot of really quick pause/play maneuvers to get things squared away again.

Toph never had to fight Zuko like they did so many times so it's natural she doesn't hold a grudge. Also, she startled him in the middle of the night, so he didn't do anything wrong there. That was 100% on her for not announcing herself xD.

"Seriously, don't tell anyone" "Anyway, with this technique the dragons taught us..." No, but really, it's amazing how they gave a different meaning to firebending and acknowledged Zuko wasn't a master himself and made him go through this first. He went very maturely about him "losing his bending" with the rest of the group as well. Only thing I don't get is how Katara let Zuko go on a field trip with Aang alone first day after joining haha. That looked to me like the perfect chance to kidnap him but a truly gorgeous episode, visually and writing-wise.

I'm glad you have been enjoying this show as much as you have. I know when you first started you said you'd heard nothing but good things about this show, I'm wondering if it has lived up to those expectations or possibly even exceeded them?

For me the syncing starts to get out of alignment after a while, but it doesn’t bother me. I think maybe my black screens for where the ads would go are a little bit shorter than yours, but I just pause my video for a second and wait for some distinct movement in your blurry version, like someone bending or something.

I actually mostly blame Toph for that mess. She snuck up on a sleeping firebender in the middle of the night, while he was camping alone in the woods. Of course Zuko’s first response should just be like, those fire daggers a lot of firebenders use, so he has a defense ready. But he was probably still half asleep.

The Southern Raiders is a favorite of mine. I love all of the different trips that they each take with Zuko, but that one is my favorite of them all because of how intimidating Katara is now. I love seeing Zuko's reaction to her bloodbending too. Like he's seen her skills improve already, but when he sees her use that technique you can see that he is a little afraid, and now he knows that she can fully back up the threats she gave him when he first joined the GAang

Also, Idk if you noticed but in that episode the day after Sokka and Suki (just realized how similar their names are) were meeting up in his tent, Sokka can be seen making a flower necklace, or a "lei", as in he got "lei'd"

about syncing up the shows: one thing i've noticed other channels do is say where they are watching their copy from, so viewers could watch on the same platform which helps with sync in general for me personally though, i used visual cues on screen. I usually play my copy first and then pause when a big logo fades off screen. then i start your reaction and as soon as that same big logo fades on yours, i play mine. even with your copy blurred, i can usually do this with no problem

Regarding the syncing issue, may I ask why the video has to be blurred? I do apologize if you've already addressed this question, but I am genuinely curious. I follow two other reaction creators here on Patreon and both post uncut reactions that are not blurred. Perhaps the difference is that they do not upload the videos to YouTube, instead, they post directly on Patreon or through Vimeo. (This is not meant as a criticism, I enjoy the content blurred or not <3)

Hi, I’m just wondering which platform you use to watch this so that I can sync it up better? Mine doesn’t seem to match up and it’s a very disjointed experience 😅
