I think why the Bugnarok asked Dugded for Grodie is the same type of thing as with Racles' dad. Create a servant that will help them serve Dugded in cleaning up the universe. But maybe he went berserk with all the Shugod souls he ate and ended up wiping out them instead.

Okay, that Dugded line at the beginning is confusing so here’s more context: Grodi was “created”(revived) by Dugded because the ancient Bugnarok asked him to. Grodi is a ancient Bugnarok corpse (which is why he looks human, cause ancient Bugnarok were human-like before eating Shugod souls)

And in a desperation to gain the upper hand, one of the nation decide to ask dugded for Glody. If you think about it, the Bugnarok only become so chill and peaceful under Jeramie. They start their civil war even after their lost to human during the flashback about Daigorg and his mother

For sure. I was more hoping to see all of the past play out rather than just hearing about but its all good. Only 3 episodes left. I would have liked to see the Bugnarok before they became mutated.
