You seem lost about the whole Van Kleiss thing, so I'll break it down. Van Kleiss was able to build the stasis chamber back in Ancient Egypt, but because of the limits of technology back then, he couldn't keep it powered for the full 4000 years. Basically, it kept running out of power.

So he wasnt technically time traveling. He was sleeping and waking up each time. Got it. Was a little confusing.

Close. The machine only put his nanites in stasis, that's why he didn't age as much. But his brain was still active the whole time he was in there. Basically, he's been awake for over 4000 years and that's why he's gone crazy.

But he wasn't out and about the entire time right? Thats what was confusing me I think.

Yeah. He'd go in, go into stasis, then when the power ran out he'd move the machine and set up shop until he could recharge it, then he'd go back in again.

yeah we learnt in season 1 that abysus was the epicenter of the nanite event but in season 2 we learnt from caesar that the lab itself was where van kleiss's castle was located

Tachyons dont travel in time in theoretical physics they are inverted photons they move faster the less energy they have instead of more and have no mass like photons so they can move at infinite speeds without any mass distortion We no clue how that imoact things the idea they move in time is a loos interoretation of the theory of special relativity which argued aceleration effects time but every test we tried use prove it failed to acount for general relativity , gravity warps time and gravity is formed by mass Main study being the atomic clock study which put a clcok on a plane and one on ground snd had the plain fly fast around globe they found a small diference in time but they were nit large enough variation to say it wasnt just being closer to gravity
