Time for some Red and Yellow focus! The Putdown King was hilarious, and the character dynamics are already clicking for me.

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride!

It’s so strange seeing these monsters and stuff in a new light having watched Power Rangers Samurai as a kid.

Anriku

Is it vastly different? Pretty cool you get to experience the differences.

Maskedman

The first new zord, the beetle zord, has finally arrived, but what possible new ones will come next. Also, if the next episode is what I think it is, you are in for 2 surprises. I am also wondering when we get to the first episode.

DeadHeat22

Yo! digging the Gavv shirt LOL didnt notice it until halfway through the reaction

The Rekka Daizantou (volcano sword thing) is called Fire Smasher in Power Rangers Samurai. Just something you could also call it, if you can't remember the japanese name

KrakenKing

Nothing inherently vastly different, the characters all still roughly have their same character arcs (yellow with her sister, red with his clan, etc), and the monsters are still mostly the same (Negatron with his power of negativity, Dreadhead even got to keep his gun in the America), but like, PR toned things WAY back. Like, Negatron wasn’t saying crazy stuff like “perv” and “two-timers” and then straight up killing people. 😭 In PR Samurai the monsters are called Nighloks, led by Master Xandred, but they’re still basically demons/yoki and they need the river water to survive.

I think with episode 6 Kotoha isn't affected by the insults because she's true to herself she's already accepted the fact she's a klutz and whatnot while the others might try to hide from the truth of their flaws

Anriku

Appreciate it bro. Might get a Evolt one. 😈
