Not a bad reprieve from the craziness of the main plot. I’m curious if we’ll be focusing on any familiar faces in the next two episodes.

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride!

I enjoyed this episode a lot! Like I said, Makoto and Chiropmon are my favorite pair so far, so it was nice seeing them have an episode focusing on them and some new characters who may or may not reappear again. Btw, there is a Captain Hook-based Digimon called CaptainHookmon. We've now seen Tinkermon and Petermon in this series, so who knows, we might see CaptainHookmon in the future.

Anriku

Let's see if they continue the trend! Gotta say I am enjoying what they're doing with these side episodes.

Drifting Cloudymon

I like how this episode shows Makoto is a fan of super heroes since its said digimon are reflections of their owners. It’s also mentioned in Makoto’s character profile and once in an episode preview narration he’s a fan of horror movies too. That would probably explain NightChiropmon being a dark creepy superhero like Batman, it’s a mix of both his interests as well as his technical support skills too. I’m looking forward to the rest of Chiropmon’s evolution line to see where it goes because all three partner digimon were designed by the same person but only up to their champion levels. The rest of the evolution lines are designed by someone else so if you think there’s no cohesive between them if that ends up being the case, that’s why.
