The conclusion of the Gift Arc is here, and it was pretty interesting seeing how everything played out! Though, I feel like they could’ve gone about telling the world about Digimon in a different way. I’m also really curious about that white cube that Wong seemed so surprised by. 👀

just a heads up but the next 4 episodes after this are a mini-arc focusing on kyo, the final episode of that mini-arc is supposed to air this weekend and then we'll head into what is likely the last arc of the show

Drifting Cloudymon

You’ve been wanting a dark evolution well here you go. Wizardmon has never evolved into Mephismon in any other media, as none of the anime, games, Vpets etc. Mephismon isn’t a new Digimon either it’s been around since Tamers, have I mentioned that before I don’t remember? It does have its own dedicated Mega that appears in the same thing from one of the Tamers anime short movies. Shame they didn’t use that instead of just making Mephismon bigger. Mephismon’s baby form is called Mokumon, from mokumoku as a kind of sound effect for the forming of a cloud of smoke. This is actually the Fourth time there’s been a Mokumon in Beatbreak. Astamon from the Pandamon arc, Mummymon, and Jokermon all devolved into Mokumon as it’s the main baby Digimon for many dark or mystical Digimon from the field of Digimon called the Nightmare Soldiers. As someone already told you next arc is four episodes and will be done this weekend, what comes after that no one knows but it might be the last arc of the season since the only vague number of episodes we know of is 49 which would mean the show ends in October for Dragonball Super to maybe take it’s time slot on tv when that returns.
