Alright, folks! While I'm working away on A Very Confuse Pokémon Adventure, which should be out tomorrow (I've already got it written, it just needs its editing pass), I stopped in to announce the winner for The First Displaced Hero Relationship Poll. There will be another poll up for Round 2 in a few days, but I'll wait until after Pokémon Adventure releases tomorrow to post it. So, first, a look at the results:

------------------

Add Padme AND Sabe to the Pairing (Sabe would not count against the total): 50%

Add Padme to the Pairing: 34%

Do not add Padme to the Pairing: 16%

------------------

You guys managed to surprise me again *insert anime sweat drop*. I'm not even sure if it's because you're bigger perverts than expected, or lesser? I'd honestly sort of expected that you'd be all for getting the sexy bunnygirl secretary in on the fun by pairing her with Sabé and having them engage in stress-relief shenanigans with the main group. But, instead, the majority of people just wanted to bundle Sabé up into the main pairing entirely? I guess the temptation of a Padmé body double with a mischievous streak being directly in the harem was just too great!

Ah, well. I may have to scrub my plans for Asora (poor Asora), but if people want it that much, then who I am to say no? Sabé is fun to write, and having her actively egging Padmé on will actually make it easier to write Padmé into the pairing anyway. So it's hardly an imposition on me. If it was going to be, I'd never have made it an option ;-). Alright! So, official declaration time! The planned pairing as it stands right now is:

Izuku/Aayla/Mei/Padmé/Sabé/?/?

Note that the two question marks represent the maximum size the pairing may grow to, and it's only still two since I promised Sabé wouldn't count against the total if she got included in the main pairing. A promise I made due to a lot of people expressing concerns that including any of the Handmaidens would limit other options. I honestly think six girls might be stretching things a bit, but I can manage it in this specific setting if people really want it. Mostly since, unlike a setting like One Piece, Star Wars more easily allows me to chop them up into groups that aren't together all of the time.

Keep an eye out for the next poll to start up in 2-3 days, which will determine if Shaak Ti or Ventress will be added to the pairing! That poll (the second) will run through the end of the month, with a single final poll (the third) to determine who (if anyone) will fill the last position set to run next month. Also, remember that you're free to suggest age appropriate characters that could join the poll if you can think of any! There honestly aren't that many developed characters within the right age ranges that I haven't already included, since we're still Pre-Clone Wars. A few, I admit I've already rejected as I don't think they'd fit (Luminara Unduli was specifically considered but deemed too straight laced), but I'm open to new suggestions!

I only have one thing to say about the results Twins basil! twins! On the topic of not having anybody in the age range you can use, time travel is canon to Star Wars because of the whole “lands between” that happened in Rebels. Alternatively you can do a “hyperspace temporal compensator malfunction” as they definitely have something like that based on how close the Falcon got to a black hole in Solo: A Star Wars story, and just get people from the past because of relativity

A 3 person relationship(MC+2girls) is my preferred max. Once it goes past that I do a hard reset to my brain and think to myself "i guess it's gonna be that kind of story". Once my brain has been set to that kind of story I just start voting for whatever gets us more women because if you're gonna do it you might as well DO IT.

Novus's Fanfiction Works

I get it :-). I actually personally prefer a max of MC+3 (4 total) as the highest. Something reflected in Automata, which is MC+2 and will never be more. It's the only current story I didn't allow voting for :-p. I'm Capable of writing larger groups without the story turning into a complete smutfest, though. So when I allow voting things tend to go...well...like this? Give the people what they want, as it were.

Novus's Fanfiction Works

Yeah, I think the Twins thing might have had something to do with it :-p. Doubly so since it's even 'Twins' you don't have to feel guilty about, as they aren't actually related ;-). As for Time Travel, that's...pretty campy to use that just as a way to add more girls. Remember, none of my current fics are smut-focused, even if I include it, despite the harems probably making it look that way from the outside. So I'm not going to go waaaaaay out of my way to arrange something like that :-p.

Matthew Robar

It dosnt just have to be girls, there’s a few characters from history that have ambiguous endings like Revan (which could be a girl!) we’re not sure if they’re alive or dead as they just “disappeared into uncharted space”. It’s also an easy way to introduce a big bad as without a lot of development by the rest of the galaxy I don’t think they’ll catch up militarily by the time the galactic war kicks off. Between the lost institutional knowledge and the extremely different type of warfare being inflicted on the Hutts, the only advantage the rest of the galaxy has is manpower. As we’ll have the experience, technological and momentum to blitz anybody. We’re about even with logistics but I could be wrong

Keht Jelicho

With Ventress being introduced before Falling/getting trained by Dooku/Tyranus, then what about someone who is more on the dark side/would be controversial. Aurra Sing, of she's old enough (I honestly do not know her age, but kind of put her around the same age as Ventress and you're having Ventress as an option. She might also not have left the jedi yet (or has left them during/because of this war/the ripples caused by Izuku). I just know she is force sensitive and is explicitly known for ranged weaponry and eventually has serious issues with the Jedi Order. As for Asora, what about pairing her with Mei's assistant/minder? That might could work. Alternatively there are other Handmaidens that could be paired with Asora. ... or to throw something way out of left field: what about having her gunning for Obi-wan once he and/or anakin finally meet/become involved with Izuku's story. Basically I am just saying I still hope for a background romance for Asora to happen even if she's not going to be included as part of the harem/polycule. If you want to really screw with the Mandalorians/Clones/Jango and/or Boba Fett, then maybe Arla Fett could be introduced. Jango never knew she survived as far as I know, but I believe she should currently be in republic custody at a mental institution after being held captive, tortured and branded by Death Watch and brainwashed/forced to be an assassin for them. She was either sold as a slave by death watch or was captured on a mission or something in the middle there too, I just remember that she was a slave at some point. I could see Fay being helpful for her recovery if she somehow was to get free of the mental institution. And if Jango was to learn of Izuku/Fay/Aayla and etc helping her that could lead to interesting scenes. With or without Arla being a romance interest, the capture and treatment under Death Watch, and the Slavery and etc, I could see her getting very behind the anti-slavery stance and supporting Izuku's efforts even with the Force and jedi being involved and against anything her brother might have to say about them. Though, with Jango having had his own experiences of being sold into slavery, a case could be made that he could be brought around at some point. Mainly I just want to see how the clones would react if their "sister" became a big name and they were eventually ordered to face her/the side she is part of.

Mh as mister Matthew robar said people from the past we don't actually known to have died could work it could bring in some weird but interesting interaction like female any of the star wars old republic "main" or side characters besides hyperdrive malfunction or infinity gate incident just some stasis chamber could work for that ..... If that is an idea you be okay with then I personally would like a "good" aligned sith Inquisitor/sorcerer preferred as a sith pureblood alternatively ratattaki or red twilek this one could have chosen to go into stasis after the whole eternal empire thing this would be interesting .... Or a chiss Imperial Agent who had that whole hyperdrive malfunction/infinity gate incident thing (that ship just looks cool) who could have some real interesting information on possible still hidden caches deep in narshada/coruscont or on some remote planet/hidden space station or info on old designs like hk47 or that fleet destroyer weapon the sith empire had or tech info of the eternal empire or you know remid people that korriban and dromondkas still exist and as a chiss that the chiss acandency should probably still exists..... And there are a lot of other characters you could use from that time As for not past characters how about mega milk get another tech waifu then we have two force waifus ,two politic waifus and two tech waifus .... Or for your whole now force order thing you could go with that dathomir Padawan and try to get the dathomir witches into your "new order"(heh) Or Aurora sing somehow don't know how or if that would even work but it is an idea... There is sev'rance tann a force sensitive chiss who originally joined doku somehow also an idea... Mh I would normally also say bo-katan kryse but you already killed her off mh perhaps there is some other mandalorien that could work.... So these are some ideas I do personally like the out of time thing even if you have some of that already going on....

Novus's Fanfiction Works

Hmmm, I think I actually already established Revan's gender because of the Infinite Engine Seeds, though I might have avoided specifically saying one way or another. Though, that's not really the issue with trying it. Said issue is that...I've actually already done it twice in Displaced Hero. Celeste Morne and Ood Bnar were both 'pulled from the past' as it were. I got away with doing it twice without it feeling forced (and in quick succession at that) because both of them were canonically (legends) already in those states. Effectively, I just arranged to wake them up early and in different circumstances. That isn't to say that I would COMPLETELY reject the idea. It's just that, doing it a THIRD time would demand that whoever was added in such a fashion be a major boon to the fic. Not a boon to Izuku and Aayla. But a boon to the writing. If someone came up with a specific person and a specific argument for how/why they would be good to do that with, I would consider it. As it currently stands, I can't come up with any that would be worth the hit to believability for it to happen a third time to the same group of people. Ah...you're VERY wrong on the logistics thing. The Republic consists of ONE MILLION populated worlds. The CIS consisted of 'thousands of systems' with the best estimates being somewhere between 50-100,000. The only way they got away with the size discrepancy was because they sucker punched an unprepared Republic AND had a huge amount of industrial might swap sides in the form of the Techno Union and Trade Federation. With the Commerce Guild and Banking Clan added in a huge amount of money to fund it all. Izuku and Co, by the time of the Clone Wars, won't control more than 2,000 systems or so, MAX. Most of which aren't heavily industrialized. I specifically gave them such a high QUALITY of fleet/army because they are going to be HORRIBLY outmatched in numbers and industrial capacity by both of the other factions. Kuat and Corellia between them would likely outstrip their entire industrial base. If the League wants to make an impact, they're going to have to both be smart...and recruit away a lot of worlds from both sides to bolster their manpower and industrial might.

Novus's Fanfiction Works

...You remember this is IZUKU, right? He's not going to get along well with dark or grey moralities. If they could be redeemed away from it, sure. But there aren't an overabundance of those. Aurra Sing is...honestly it very much depends on if I went with the Legends or Canon version. The Legends version MIGHT quality. The Canon version absolutely would not. Legends had her fall as the result of a series of tragedies and being kidnapped and not recovered. The Canon version deliberatley left the Jedi Order specifically to become a bounty hunter 'just because' being a rare case of willfully choosing amorality over either light or dark. Asora might still get a background pairing. She just won't get any sexy/kinky shenanigans screentime :-p. Arla Fett...shhhhh. Stop sneaking peeks at my list of potential plot threads and leaking them like that!

Novus's Fanfiction Works

As I mentioned just now (after you posted this) to Matthew Robar...I've already pulled the stasis-through-time thing twice :-p. With Celeste Morne and Ood Bnar. I'm less willing to try a third, as it stretches credibility a lot more. Particularly since those two, at least, were canonically (EU/Legends) established as actually in their unique forms of stasis. I just moved when they got woken up. Someone would need to make a really good argument for how a specific character would improve the story. Not make it easier for the heroes. I'll never include fleet killer super weapons and the like as they are, frankly, terrible writing. But an argument that legitimately makes the STORY better. As for Mega Milk, various Dathomir, etc. All of those are OCs, and I try not to get OCs mixed up in pairings. Asora was the closest I was willing to go with that, and even she wouldn't have been part of the main pairing, but adjacent to it with Sabe. Aurra Sing...is iffy. Read my reply about her to Keht Jelicho for why. If I went with her Legends version, it's at least plausible. But I'm not sure if there's a strong argument for including her as a part of the pairing. Possibly as a related character, but I'm not sure she fits with the group as part of the main pairing. I'd listen to arguments in favor, and add her to the poll if there are convincing ones. Sev'rance Tann is actually more of a possibility, but I legitimately know almost nothing about her. So I'm unsure how good of one.

Keht Jelicho

Ok, hadn't realized there was a difference between legends and canon for Aurra Sing (though, even then, I could see someone playing with canon "left to become a bounty hunter" somewhat similar to how you had Luffy's crew being bounty hunters at first- making it so Aurra chose to become a bounty hunter to go after some specific person or after the types of people who need to be brought in that the jedi don't/can't go after? Not necessarily for *this* story, but I could see it). So yeah, seems like at best she could be an associate. I was remembering vague bits of the Legends backstory I guess, and was wondering if/how Izuku's presence could be portrayed to have changed the circumstances of Aurra's life to somewhat ameliorate how dark/amoral she is, particularly if they could encounter her early enough to have gotten to her before too much time surviving in the depths of the galaxy's scum and villainy. Less pair with a dark and more rope in a vigilante on the verge of getting dragged down kind of situation. "(Asora) won't get any sexy/kinky shenanigans screentime"- you mean other than her uniform and how both Aayla and Mei use it/her to tease Izuku by proxy? Also, I could easily see her inspiring/suggesting things to those two to directly tease Izuku. And I do hope she still has a friendship with Sabé. Sorry about Arla then, was just trying to think of other possible women that haven't been introduced and that could be age appropriate. Riyo Chuchi is apparently possibly around the same age as Padmé, though might be younger, to only a few years older than Ahsoka. So she's potentially out. Mon Mothma is also supposed to be roughly Padmé's age. If you wanted to play around with the whole Mortis Father/Son/Daughter deal such that somehow the Son escapes and the Daughter lives and ends up seeking out Izuku (because honestly with his connection to the force I could see all three of them seeking Izuku, and adding the Daughter as a semi-OC potential relationship might work if there's a reason to let her go out into the galaxy- such as doing so to counterbalance the Son's also having managed to go out, or something along those lines. I don't know if there are any in canon, and if not then an OC would be a no, but maybe a "good" Zygerrian. The Zygerrians having the whole slave empire deal would give a similar narrative element to including a controversial/dark side character. Someone who would cause initial mistrust and apprehension.

Dominique Brassel

Right I think I was writing my comment while using the wiki on PC so I actually didn't see your comment to Matthew 😜 I think I took an hour to write it somehow.... Also there are a lot of people in stasis at least in Star wars the old republic so stumbling about more is not that much out there.... For those fleet killer weapon you could probably only have a few and my idea there was as you wrote in some comments izuku will be horribly outnumbered and could probably even be fighting on to fronts against both republic and cis also as that is old tech to destroy more than a dozen or so capitals that I imagine you would be able with a modernized version of that specific weapon you would need something moon sized 😉... Yeah I did not think sing would actually work but you can create miracles with writing sooo I need the mention her .... As for the chiss she is dead inside a month of the clone wars beginning at least in canon in legend she actually has a paramour at least when she leaves the chiss acandency but there is more there but she is one of dookus dark acolytes and learns force use from him and there is not much known about her before that .... Also mh for the out of time argument let me give you some of my ideas for what the pureblood sith Inquisitor could bring to the STORY..... First as an presumed extinct species it could bring a lot of interest from the Republic, the Jedi and of course sidiuos... Then being an actual legitimate sith and a (ex)member of the sith empires dark council even if she was one of the "good" ones it brings tension if not conflict with the main Jedi order and sidiuos will be absolutely livid I think as one of the more mystic oriented she could likely identify the shroud of the "dark" side and actually interfere with it which will lead to probably more conflict with sidiuos but it would also let the Jedi order precive more of what is actually going on which would also bring more chaos/opportunity to what could happen which could cause another split in the Republic like an "imperium" section with sidiuos at the helm and an other party with let's say alderan ,corellia and more who have the actual backing of jedi which would also mean izuku is not as overwhelmed by numbers as he would other wise be ... On Izukus side there could also be some internell strife for some time but would end up probably just solidifying his ne force user order she then could help them with more esoteric force use and in actually planning a giant campaign/protection against cis , imperial and republic as she is a war veteran of the old sith war and the war against the eternal empire.... She could like also help find other for force sects/orders like the boss She could also help izuku expand into other planets like the old sith worlds but I was just looking at a bloody galaxy map and it's a complete messlike how the f did the bloody clone wars even have "front lines" Of course how much you would/could/want to escalate the whole thing would be of course your choice I hope my argument what it could bring to the STORY was compelling as I am not an author I don't think I actually formulated it well enough but oh well 😅

Novus's Fanfiction Works

Hmmm, I actually think I have an idea about Aurra Sing people will like. It would be getting her involved with the pairing, but it will be an interesting little side thing that could be sort of fun. Which will eventually bring her across the group, probably. Just as a hint, she was known to frequent Tatooine...which is now effectively being run by a most unusual Jedi... Asora: I mean direct on-screen lemon time :-p. Arla: You pinned a possible person, rather an exact events ;-). I have a number of possible things to weave into the story whenever I get the chance. Not all of them get used. Events surrounding her were just one of them. Riyo Chuchi: I actually wondered if anyone was going to make the argument for her. She's slightly younger than Padme BUT I think it's actually stated somewhere that her species matures more quickly than humans. So she's at the edge of an acceptable range. I personally didn't consider her since she'd be a lot like another Padme in a lot of ways. A young Senator. She's also not quite yet at the level of being noticed galactically, as she only became a senator right around the start of the Clone Wars. Mon Mothma is, unfortunately, a strong supporter of Palpatine at this point. She's actually outright a part of his Loyalist Committee. I already have some stuff going on with the Daughter, whether anyone has caught it or remembers. But they definitely won't be leaving Mortis. Not quite sure about the Zygerrians, I don't know of any canon 'good' ones that are named and developed. Which means it would be an OC. Which I don't like to add to pairings. Though they might deal with some in a non-pairing-related way.

Keht Jelicho

Yeah, Riyo Chuchi only really seemed to step into her own after Orto Plutonia and Chi Cho's actions there which led to his death. It was only after that, and her later actions that would seem to have her agreeing with the motivation of ending slavery, though possibly not the war itself. I cannot remember how far off from the canon start of the clone wars the timeline is, and won't even speculate how things will turn out with regards to that, but do think Riyo would have to be a later addition after a few more years at the least, and thus may not be the best possible option. Mon Mothma, I had forgotten that Palpatine hadn't yet pushed for emergency powers/formation of a military/etc yet. I just remembered her being a big part of the Rebel Alliance in the future. Now that you mentioned it, I do think I remember something with/about the Daughter, but had forgotten- Guess it might be time to do a reread. I mainly brought up Zygerrians because you brought up the "good" Hutts, and I wasn't sure if they're like the Batarians from Mass Effect and even had some of their own species enslaved/oppressed. Could see you having a former enslaved Zygerrian getting supported to become a new government head for the species after the slaving empire government gets taken down. What about the "enforcer" slave races of the hutts? Are there any canon members of them that could be introduced as a character or possible romance option?

Novus's Fanfiction Works

No fleet killer weapons! I'll have to read the entry for Sev'rance Tann to see if she's interesting enough to try and divert to their little academy instead of Dooku. Correction: The Sith species isn't assumed extinct. The Jedi still have the Sorcerers of Tund under observation at this point. They weren't forced to abandoned that observation until right around the clone wars. Since most of the Sorcerers are still direct Sith Species descendants, the Jedi are aware that the species still exists. It's only the Sith ORDER that they believed to be extinct until Maul. Sidious also already knows about them but considers them irrelevant. If she's a 'good' Sith, she's a Light Sider. The idea of a Dark Sider being good is a fallacy that can only exist within the framework of a game, since the Dark Side inherently corrupts. This means that a Sith Inquisitor brought forward probably isn't any better at reading the Dark Side than Ood Bnar, who was an expert on it. One of the rare few Jedi who could study it without it corrupting him. She absolutely could NOT access the veil in anyway either, even if she likely could detect it. The Veil is, at least in this fic, a creation of the Banite Order and directly tied to them through its creation. It doesn't help Dark Siders in general, just them. The one argument that does hold up is that he/she would bring another perspective and different usages of the Force. But they are already getting that from multiple places. Along with some knowledge of specific lost worlds. Most of the ones she would know about would be better off STAYING lost...aside from perhaps Zakuul. Which I've actually considered, but I'm sort of reluctant to add yet another sort of exotic technology fuckery. Which would be the main reason to do so. The baby Starforges are already a significant booster. Ah, the Front Lines thing is...complicated yet not. It's complicated if you realize that they basically had to rewrite some understanding of Star Wars space travel in order to make the Clone Wars work in a way anyone could follow. Originally, there wasn't much of a limit other than 'avoid gravity wells' to hyperspace travel. But, when they needed to actually tell the story of the Clone Wars, they realized the same problem you ran into. There needed to be actual ways to create 'front lines.' The solution was to focus on the previously nebulous idea of Hyperlanes. Cleared super-highways through space that everyone knew about, and which allowed fleets to move around easily instead of just single ships. Effectively, this allowed them to map 'roads' in space, with chokepoints at critical worlds. Holding a star system where a major hyperlane passes through, means creating a place the enemy can't move fleets through without fighting you for it. This is what Izuku and Co have been doing in Hutts Space. Taking control of the Hyperlanes that enter into Hutt Space from elsewhere, to cut them off from the outside. It also, however, allowed the same sort of thing to happen in the Clone Wars. There were multiple 'battlespheres.' Areas where the CIS was concentrated and controlled. The CIS spent most of the war trying to 1) Connect these to one another for mutual support. 2) Cut off major hyperlanes to prevent the Republic from either entering their space or moving easily within its own. For example, the Republic and CIS both wanted permission to pass through Hutt Space because it was smack between two of the major CIS controlled zones. If the CIS got permission, it would have allowed those to zones to support each other. The Republic, on the other hand, had a border with Hutt Space too. So getting permission to move through it allowed them to attack BOTH of those CIS controlled spheres of worlds from another flank. In this way, there were actually like a dozen different 'fronts' within the war. Not a single one. Edit: I'm not completely shooting down the Inquisitor Idea. But the current argument isn't strong enough for me to bring in someone who's effectively an OC in a lot of ways. I actually seriously considered bringing Lana Beniko forward instead at one point. But couldn't quite justify it. She's borderline, though, and I'd actually consider her, as she offers most of the same things the Inquisitor idea does, while also being a fully developed character instead of a partial-OC.

Novus's Fanfiction Works

I agree with Riyo. I wouldn't mind adding her as a possibility to the poll, but she'd be a later addition for sure. Mon Mothma was in support of even the military creation act, I think. She didn't really turn on Palpatine until he went all Emperor if I remember right. I think part of her motivation for being so involved with the Rebellion was her own guilt at having helped put the Emperor there in the first place. Yep! I don't blame you for not remembering the references to the Daughter, as they were indirect. Specifically, something to do with Fay ;-). I haven't explicitly said what their connection is, but I've dropped some hints. The Zygerrian thing is actually a very good idea. It's just something I'm going to have to research. I did a quick pass over them at one point, when I was first looking into slaver guilds for them to target before the Hutt Crusade (I went with the Kazarak Slaver's Guild instead). But I didn't research the Zygerrians in depth since I went with another choice. The Enforcer races...well, one of them already has a representative in a certain very annoying would-have-been-a-pirate. There are some Nikto floating around, like a Jedi who I mentioned in passing. The Klatooninians and Vodran I'm less sure about...

Keht Jelicho

Really all I remember about Zygerrians is that they abducted/enslaved a colony of togruta during the clone wars, they'd had conflict with (been defeated by?) The Jedi in the past, were a "Slave Empire", and they look kinda like cats

Dominique Brassel

Mh okey no big space boom (I remain convinced that the good guys should have their own death star but it is indeed your decision)..... 🤔so they still exist that is interesting I must look into it.... Right soo I have seen your interpretation of the force and I must disagree with it (of course your story can be as different as you want) so we have the father , daughter , son thing then there is bendu and a few others I think next are the revanits then there is that whole balance in the force concept so I personally think either the dark side is not inherently corrupt or the light side is equally corrupting just in the opposite direction so my interpretation of good sith is either a grey /balanceed one who uses dark and light equally or a dark side user that that does good and is not mentally "corrupted" by there use of dark side force energy..... Also for actual corruption I give you mother or abbaloth.... But if you don't use those balance concepts and interpret dark=evil/corrupt my idea dose indeed not have much merit..... Now funny enough the bloody galaxy map had actually had hyperplanes in it and it is still confusing the hell out of me with the whole Frontline thing as far as I can see it the cis has had small bubbles of worlds all over the galaxy like two bloody jumps from coruscont in some cases (that at least explains where the fleet in episode 3came from) you don't have a Frontline as much as like dozens or hundreds of war theatersas you said and there a also a lot of ways a round some of those "choke nodes" in the hyperplane network the only bloody way we actually had a long war with theater fronts and not a fast crippling campaign of ruin(for all critical infrastructure) is because sidiuos actually controlled both sides... As hutt space actually seems a coherent and self contained space a war as you described sofar is a thing and is actually the sensible thing to to its just the Republic - cis war that is fucked up Also I can now easily understand why most of the Republic would not want the cis to just cecede from the Republic... Well I made my case and everything is your decision in the end it will be good either way 👍

Novus's Fanfiction Works

The problem with things like Death Star is that the temptation always exists to misuse them. The only true super weapon I can think of that Izuku would be willing to allow is actually the Ion System that the CIS came up with for the Malevolence. So, your interpretation of light and dark is an unfortunately popular fanon version that has been OFFICALLY slapped down as incorrect multiple times. Lucas himself did so when Star Wars was still his, expressing EXTREME confusion that some people tried to make the Empire or the Dark Side out to be not so bad. He stated unequivocally that he'd intentionally made the Emperor and the Dark Side of the Force almost cartoonish levels of evil. They were supposed to fill a very, very OBVIOUS role as a stark evil as part of his vision of a space OPERA. That stark contrast being a very strong theme in that sort of performance. The stance was later reiterated in both the EU and canon. While some Force Users can effectively ride a heretically fine line and force a balance so they don't go crazy using the evil corruptive power...it IS heretical. It was officially sustained as being an incorrect interpretation repeatedly, in both Legends and canon. While personal head canons and fanon is fine for personal views...it's not supportable in a story without being an actively AU element. The thing about the galaxy map is that it is...actually a sort of terrible way to view things. It's the best way we have, but it's honestly terrible, since it collapses everything down into a 2D format. It makes it really hard to see what's going on. Nor does it include critical details. For example, flight times or where the industrial might and pre-existing fleets were at. Core worlds, for example, pretty much all had their own defense fleets completely separate from the GAR or CIS. Likewise, positioning a nodal fleet force along a major hyperlane nexus means you can strike at any attempt to push along either hyperlane. Add in the scale of the war effort and, yes, it was all chaos. The 'front lines' would basically be just the current places people are defending or pushing along a particular combat theater. Though the idea of a quick crippling strike on industrial nodes falls apart when you consider those pre-existing defense fleets I mentioned. In example, the CIS trying to hit Kuat? The galaxy's single largest shipbuilder, which had DOZENS of massive in-system battleships/dreadnaughts that were of a size with the future Super Star Destroyer class? Fat chance. Unless they took practically their entire Navy, any CIS fleet that attempted it would have been torn to shreds. This sort of thing is common to all Sci-fi, though. If you want to get a better grasp on it, I'd actually recommend either reading or listening to the Honor Harrigton series. It's a hard military sci-fi series that goes heavy into large scale interstellar warfare by the time you get a few books in. The CIS and Republic. That one is actually easy to answer. There were two reasons the Republic was deadest against the CIS splitting off. The first was that the CIS worlds contained a lot of economic and industrial might. Important, but not really critical. The MUCH more important reason? Because the Core Worlds are HEAVILY reliant on the Mid and Outer Rim for raw materials. The Core Worlds are made up of systems with huge populations that can't even feed themselves, let alone feed their industry. The entire conflict was caused in the first place by the Core Worlds essentially abusing the every living shit out of the Rim worlds by strip mining them and screwing them on how much they paid. All by controlling what FINISHED goods went back out to the Rim. In fact, the Trade Federation actually originally got its start as a GOOD thing, essentially a way for the Rim worlds to band together to force the Core Worlds into fair treatment. It only when screwy when the Nemoidians took over control of it. Essentially, the Core Worlds COULDN'T let the CIS go. They'd have, at best, had to start paying the actual worth of the material they were getting (which would shred many of their economies). At worst, if the CIS didn't agree to export what the Core needed, it would have been a mass extinction even on worlds like Coruscant.

...I completely forgot they were catgirl furries. Or, well, the female ones. This makes them slightly more appealing, even if I'm not really a furry person. Mostly because I know a lot of the perverts of the internet are and a furry catgirl addition would be well received :-p.

For cat-like species you have several options to look into, one apparently known for having jedi members- the Cathar. Beyond them there are Togorians, Trianii, Srrors'tok, Catuman, Orryxians (that might only come up in books or something as I didn't see any pictures or much info on them in a quick search), Tinnell, Cantrosian, Farghul, Felacatian (interesting in that they are polymorphic), and more. Took a while but found this page https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Feline_sentient_species that may help some

*eyes bulge* Okay, the only ones of those I even recognized were Cathar and Togorians. I personally always disliked how the Cathar looked (something that started with Juhani from Kotor. And I only vaguely knew about the Togorians.

Yeah, I don't remember what inspired it before, but I went into a deep dive of feline species in Star Wars before (there are 100s of thousands of inhabited planets at least, 1000s of species, not surprised there are dozens of feline ones, there's multiple lizard/reptilian species.) Didn't really remember all the types Just that I had found a lot more than I expected

I'm just surprised there's that many of them that have been actually named. Rather than at the idea that there would be so many.

Ah, yeah, I get that. I think I found more of them this time around than the previous times I looked. Also, if Riyo isn't added, how would you feel about her with Asora/Izuku's Assistant (I am not fully awake and not sure I got that name right)? Your comment about Riyo in the Poll, the "Dom me Daddy" and innocence, that just made me wonder what a relationship with her and the assistant would be like? Be it the assistant simply corrupting her/encouraging her to go after the one she likes/be bold and less shy only for Riyo to use it all to go after the assistant. OR the assistant enjoys teasing her boss, but in a relationship wants to be the one in control/with the power, and thus why she doesn't actually try to get with Izuku/the harem, and the Assistant goes after Riyo because she does have that sub energy and is someone the assistant can go Domme on.

You did get the name right :-p. As for her and Riyo together? I could see it, but poor Riyo. Asora originally started with Izuku's group as a stripper at the Lucky Rabbit. She'd eat Riyo alive :-p. Though I admit that I'm now sort of picturing Asora slowly recruiting a bunch of friendly senators to their cause because she seduced them...

Lol, we only think this is a story about Izuku and his Harem saving the galaxy, meanwhile in the background Asora is racking up a harem of her very own easily dwarfing the size of Izuku's

Novus's Fanfiction Works

I can totally see a moment of comedy when, after getting competitive and trying to beat Izuku's harem size, Asora drags into work looking completely exhausted. When Izuku asks what's wrong, she just begs him to teach her the secret to how he Keeps Up with his harem. Izuku goes quiet and solemn. "The Force is a path to many abilities some might consider...super-human. Come, Asora, I always knew this day would come. We must start your vision quest on unlocking your true powers as a Force Sex Goddess..."

Ok, now I am seeing That as a dream izuku wakes up from when he notices how Asora keeps flirting with all the various senators and government officials (and, let's be honest, probably with some from all three or more factions: republic, Confederacy, Free Stars/their own government, and possibly the neutral systems and/or other external forces in unknown regions/Wild Spaces/etc.) Aayla/whoever is in bed with him: What's wrong? Izuku: I just had a dream I helped Asora take over the galaxy by becoming a force sex goddess and seducing all the leaders
