September Story Poll Results (Patreon)

*drags himself in looking half dead*
Ughhhhhh. So, I screwed up by the numbers and left the Story Poll open to All Patrons instead of just the voting tiers for a full day, back when I put it up on the 18th. Meaning I had to spend something like two hours just sorting out valid votes from invalid votes (out of 336 only 155 were from valid voting tiers). It was entirely my own fault, but it made running the numbers an extra level of agonizing this time. On the plus side, in pure self-defense of my sanity, I found a quicker, easier way to do the final tallying once I sorted that mess out. So in the future it will be easier, at least.
Anyway, enough about my mistakes! Let's take a look at the results:
A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure: 334.34 + (10% Boost) = 367.77
Stripper with a System: 271.51
Harry Potter: Pandora's Box: 187.51
Why Was There No Truck?!: 127.68
As you can see (if you look back at the poll post), removing the non-valid votes and applying the vote weighing changed the apparent winner pretty dramatically. Stripper still placed well, but A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure would have won even without its boost. Honestly, despite having a fairly solid muse for Stripper still, I'm good with that. A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure has always been fairly popular and has gone unusually long without an update.
I'm a little more surprised how poorly Why Was There No Truck?! did. But I suspect that was the fault of there still being another update of it due while most people were voting. I've worked out a schedule shuffle that I think will fix that, which I'll hopefully be posting tomorrow. I have a bit of a busy day ahead of me tomorrow though, so it's possible it will get delayed until after the Stripper With a System release on the 28th. It's not a huge shuffle, and won't affect the total amount of monthly content at all, so no need to worry over it :-p. I'm just planning to shuffle the exact update dates for the various stories a bit, in order to make the monthly poll fit around everything else more cleanly.
