Starting to think you might be trying to put your thumb down on the scales in support of Ryohgo Narita here - Strange Fake getting first dibs on both the returning AND new anime videos, eh? :P

Turd Burgle Magelby

I love that demon Lord's daughter is too kind, she's so cute and reminds me of my daughter when she was little

StellaFrin

"ROLL OVER AND DIE" yet again proving that ANY genre, even one of those fucking things, can be improved by making it about women/yuri

Patrick Thatcher

You say McDonald's in the Fate Strange Fake segment, but any Californian can tell you that man was eating a delicious In N Out Burger.

Brian

Polar Opposites is, in broad strokes, the same as Nagatoro, so I'm definitely excited for that one.

kaninchen ZERO

i do like the light novels for this very reason

Bleeps

Double Double with grilled onions and extra pickles, fries well done, and a lemonade please. Yes, I will be eating in the car today.

Frankly, I'm not all that interested in the sequels, except for Frieren. I'll be watching new ones mostly

Morte

I REALLY wish ALL of the ones I am excited to watch are also exclusively on Crunchyroll... because FUCK Crunchyroll.

Jimmie Hammel

I couldn't get into sentenced, I'm more into fluff than the grim dark stuff, plus the POV cam effect gave me vertigo. But I'm super excited for most these other ones.

Love all of these videos and plan my anime watching around them each season. It would be nice, though, if you put some text with the anime title at the end of each review. Getting to the transition to the next anime, going, "Wait, that one sounded good, I want to look it up. What was the name of it again?" and navigating back to try to find where it was posted at the start of the review to then go searching for the anime, then navigating back to where the next review starts really breaks the flow of the video. Would be nice if we could just go, "Wait! I liked that one, let me look it up" and be able to just pause and resume the video instead.

I see that you are a fellow member of P.E.T.A. (People Eating Tasty Animals)!

Nick Cameron

Nice, enjoy your vacation, well deserved!

Anthony Crocco

I appreciated Daily Grind at 29 for revealing it's true nature at the end of episode 1 instead of further on. I'm still going to watch it, just as trash instead of dadslop.

Felix

Geoff there's no excuse for dedicating the time to watch that shitty seasonal isekai in a season this stacked, and I can say that for sure because I watched it immediately

Brian Auxier

Journal with Witch mentioned :)

srslyneveragain

I have to say, the premise of Roll Over and Die was so interesting (and the animation quality so… powerpointy) that it compelled me to read the manga, which in turn compelled me to read the Light Novels. I'd say the story overall is pretty good, it has some very disturbing body horror though. The yuri takes its time to develop both the characters individually and their relationship, which is very satisfying too. I'd watch the anime only to support the series, tbh

Christopher H

I would really enjoy and appreciate a video from you talking about the best way to experience various anime, the anime or the manga. It's something you comment on sometimes, but it's otherwise hard to know which Manga should be prioritized for the best experience, e.g. Chainsaw Man or (in my opinion) Dragon Ball.

So, I tried watching shiboyugi, and it's not the kind of horror I can deal with. More of a SAW vibe, where the girls have to contemplate doing horrible things to themselves to live, and that is not fun for me. The directing is indeed inspired, and it's clear there will be more than just this death game within this season. There seems to be a little of a squid game vibe as well, depending on whether the MC is being good or evil, but I'm not willing to even finish the 1st episode to find out anymore.

VictorHuerta

On Youtube, each entry has its own segment with a creative title. But I like to watch on Patreon for the scenes which had to censored for the YT cut. So, a little banner at the top with the name of the anime would also be helpful.

So far I have enjoyed everything that was recommended in this video... But Jujukai is somehow blowing everything out of the water with episode 51 being possibly the best episode of anime I can remember right now... Holy fucking shit. I know this isn't the place for it but... FUCK Also, Journal with Witch is straight up unbelievable so far. Thanks so much for the thoughtful recs every season, Geoff; You fucking rule!

I was..... NOT ready for Shiboyugi. That show left me literally shaking in ways even the goriest horror couldn't. (Spoilers below) ...poor Aoi..... I can *still* hear her...

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

I've literally watched every SAW film and *none* of them shook me nearly as hard as Shiboyugi did. I made it like halfway and had to stop. I can still see and more importantly *hear* it. I mean, credit to the voice actresses and all, but clearly the show is not for the faint of heart, mind, or stomach. Hope you fared better than me after you stopped.

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

@VictorHuerta Slight hiccup there is that sometimes segments of the vids need to be removed from the YouTube version for copyright, sadly.

In the next scene, they contemplate cutting off limbs to meet an arbitrary weight limit on an elevator. MC calmly explained that limbs would be re-attached if they lived after the game was over. It was at that point I said "nope!" and I didn't even wait to see if they actually went for it. I'm not having nightmares, but I thought about it for a good hour afterward.

I'm very late to this video (doing a big ol' catch-up) but I just wanted to say: I really appreciate you listing the various titles and where to watch them towards the end. Thank you Geoff, and enjoy your vacation (or I hope you enjoyed it. I am, once again, very late to this video!)

Cynthia McGarvie

I just came home from watching Scarlet. God, that's so amazing! I was crying tears of joy at the end. No spoilers: just watch it!
