seeing you talk about the animation so much this time makes me think of how upset I got at all of the Shield Hero S4 fight scenes that refused to be animated. S4 wasn't good, but I kept thinking "At least it's not the Spirit Tortoise again" And someday I have hope that maybe they're remember to have the characters swing a few swords while talking in the show that's named after the weapon the protagonist was isekaied to yield.

The whole time I was watching, I was wondering what kind of staff changes needed to happen to get to the level of Handshakers, only to get hit with the "Actually, they barely made any changes to the staff, this is all intentional." Honestly, I have to respect the studio a lot for doing that. Beautiful commentary at the end about the current state of the industry, too, great video!

Got to Coppelion and thought "I mean I don't know if this looks THAT bad" until I remembered I'm watching this on Patreon, not Youtube, so the overpowering gradient that my brain was trying to filter out was not, in fact, an anti-copyright measure Geoff's editors had taken, but an actual artistic choice made by Go Hands.

3 weeks late to this truly best/worst GoHands trash party, but here's my inclusion. I was thinking about dropping Exiled Heavy Knight at the start of this video. Seitokai Yakuindomo (44 episodes and a movie!) is one of my favorite anime of all time (I like 4-koma). I also like "The Depressed Cat..."; so the nausea that hit me with "Handshakers" and subsequent productions was initially a bit of a surprise. Your essay here has shown me the warning signs to look for in their earlier works. Thanks Geoff.
