Hello all.

It seems September has been rough on me. I’m behind where I want to be and still a little burned out.  I've definitely missed an update in this month somewhere and my overall schedule has gotten out of whack.

I’m still working on F_a, which is proving way more challenging than I’d anticipated.   It’s 4000 frames and the first 2000 have been really getting on my nerves, as I’d forgotten how many characters do simultaneous big actions during this scene.  It’s about 70% done at this stage and I should be able to finish it up within the coming days.

Scene A has now been turned in to me and it looks pretty good, but I need to do some specific things to touch it up before I can hand it off again for completion.

So my schedule for the time being is as follows:

 ⁃ Finish "F_a"

⁃ Make the necessary animation edits to "A"

⁃ Craft and pass off instructions to finalize "A"

 ⁃ Rough out “C”

⁃ Rough out the rest of “F”

My plan before was to bite straight into "F", but I now see that getting "C" roughed out will need to take precedence in order to better utilize the animation resources I have on hand.

I seem to be capable of finishing 4000-5000 complete frames of animation in a month by myself.   Not counting the remainder of "F_a" or "A", there are approximately 15000 frames left to do.  Unless I can really pick up the pace, it seems I won't be able to finish until January/February, which would be extremely disappointing to me.  After I finish "F_a" and "A", I'll see if I can get some extra help on "C" so I can focus on "F".  In November, I'll be able to say definitively whether or not I'll be able to release on time.

In two days, I’ll be leaving my office for one week and going home to take care of some personal matters. I intend to continue to work while away, but I’m probably going to be working less than usual.  This may come as a relief to those concerned for my health. I'm hoping the change of pace will recharge my batteries because I’m really not at my best at the moment.  Even so, this episode remains the top priority in my life, and although I'm behind schedule, I want to ensure that it's the best it can be, so I thank you sincerely for your patience.

I really would have loved to have seen the episode this year but it doesn't matter now

Appreciate all the hard work you do for these episodes. I've rewatched the series a few times, it's good stuff. Take it easy, my dude.

Please slow down, charge up, whatever you need to do. We'll be waiting.

We don’t mind waiting for the episode. All of us here know how much dedication you have put into this project. Your willingness to continue working on it and not take the easy way out shows. Please take your time, including time for a short break.

TBH, weekly updates make it no biggie. It's done when it's done!
