That look as Carl walks back after shooting Lori.. was HAUNTING 💔 the look before he shot her and after.. you could see the immediate coldness in his eyes. And props to the actor he did amazing.

The acting in this episode.. especially the end was incredible. Maggie’s as she’s walking out, and breaks down to Glenn, Rick’s “no” and crumbling, and as Carl just stands there quietly in tears 💔 the acting is seriously incredible.

Adding to what you guys were saying about Rick and Lori's relationship, I think that smile that they shared before the walkers appeared was suggesting that Rick is finally ready to repair their marriage. Makes it all the more tragic that she dies at this moment.

1) you probably have an astigmatism and need to get astigmatism contacts 2) your contacts just need to be wiped. Or have a tiny speck on them. You may need to just rinse them in solution and use the texture of your fingerprints to gently scrub the contact. 3) you may have switched left and right. 4) you may have been misdiagnosed with the wrong prescription 5) try Acuvue Oasys brand. For clear and comfort 6) throw out the pair and try a fresh pair of lenses. Sometimes you get dud lenses in a pack of contacts -signed person who’s been wearing contacts since I was 13.

I just recently watched Star Wars for the first time. I enjoyed watching it in numerical order! The story makes more sense! And I fell in love with the little boy who would become … DV … such great story telling

Wow, people weren’t kidding about this season! I’m mad about T-Dog but at least we won’t have to deal with drama between him and Merle. Them prioritizing the baby over Lori had me fired up since the baby has nothing to eat and will die anyway. I was typing a snarky comment about Rick lactating when I realized that’s probably why they showed a pregnant woman in the town 😂

That’s awesome I’m happy you enjoyed it the Star Wars universe is huge so welcome! There’s so much more you can get into after the movies! Not against watching numerical order just from my point of view I love watching reactions in the way the public saw it so I feel like I relate to it more and I just feel that with the original trilogy it gives you more of an introduction and understanding to the force which is one of the things I’ve seen people be confused about while watching in numerical order. Either way would love for them to start the journey regardless of the order. The story is legendary and will always be one of the best artworks in history!….also the prequels have given me perspective on the current politics going on in the US which I think is funny never thought I’d be relating star wars to current political situations

At that point I'm not sure if Lori could have been saved at all, the baby had to be removed regardless and having a c section in those conditions was just a recipe for death anyway

That may have been the intention but from their perspective she went into labor and they made the decision to kill her in like 10 minutes because of a little blood which can be a normal part of labor. At that point they can’t know that Lori would die without the c-section but should realize the baby will almost certainly die without Lori there to feed it. I just think they shouldn’t have rushed to trade a grown adult who can fight for a baby that will unfortunately be a huge burden in many ways. It’s also my personal belief that you should always try everything you can to save the mother, even if that means a 100% chance of losing the baby, but I know not everyone feels the same.

It's either take the baby out, it lives and Lori doesn't, or Lori bleeds to death and they both die. It wasn't prioritizing the baby over Lori....it was Lori giving her life for her child to survive. When the mother hemmorages without proper medical attention, there's no surviving that. At least they got the baby out, but that definitely opens up a whole new set of issues.

To hell with the Governor. I do not trust anything he says and never did. I totally agree with you Mr. O.....Michonne should play the roll. It's to her benefit to stay alert without challenging him. I would've already left Andrea's ass there. She's welcome to roll the dice on her own with that. This episode is always a hard one. Definitely more to come though. Can't wait to see it with ya'll. Jenna, I can completely understand your point. It was a very rushed decision and I can see how it seems like they should've tried more. Lori had a previous C-section with Carl. Only about 15 out of 100 mothers and babies survive a VBAC (Vaginal Birth after C-section). Most doctors won't even attempt it anymore, though some do. Carol mentioned that Lori would probably need a C-section in the episode where she practiced on the walker. Herschel may have been prepared to do it but not on the fly with only Maggie and Carl. With a C-section, the uterus is scarred and weakened. It's dangerous to allow contractions and birth once that happens. A lot of the time, it ends in hemorrhage and a hysterectomy, if not maternal death. A small amount of bleeding is normal during birth, especially with tearing or an episiotomy but not much. I think they were trying to show that Lori knew it was a dire situation. She knew something wasn't right. Most mothers can tell with 2nd baby and on. Her uterus may have ruptured or the baby could've been breech, there's no way to know without prenatal care and ultrasounds. It's always the goal to do everything you can for mom and baby in these situations but out of the hundreds of deliveries I've been in on, I have never seen a mother say, "Save me first. Even if my baby dies." Actually, it's always the exact opposite. I've seen it several times. Honestly, I think it's one of the hardest decisions to make in medicine. I do think the scene deserved to be a bit longer but it was pretty accurate. I just wanted to let you know, I wasn't trying to invalidate your opinion....I just have a unique perspective that effects mine. I do see where you're coming from. Also as far as feeding the baby, I'm sure they counted on breast milk. Without Lori, that's not possible. Formula is an option if they can find it but before formula was invented, babies still had to eat. Milk, Powdered milk, condensed milk, water with corn syrup, half and half, or broth was supplemented. Where there is a will, there is a way. Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. It is definitely a more difficult situation with a newborn, that's a fact.
