Hello nudies!!!

So, this month for our nudie challenge...I'm bringing back an oldie but a goodie! The original nudie challenge...

BRUSH YOUR TEETH WITH YOUR LESS DOMINANT HAND! 🦷

in the NUDE of course 🥰

So, if you're right-handed, like me, I challenge you to brush your teeth with your left hand...and vice versa if you're left-handed.

Just like physical exercise is important for the body, same goes for the brain...we need to exercise it in order for it to function optimally.

Whilst it feels a little awkward at first, after a couple of days, my coordination improved drastically! It doesn’t feel as awkward as it did the first couple of days.

This exercise trains your muscle of focus and attention...it trains PRESENCE and mindfulness. A part of your routine that usually requires little thought as it has become habit and allows you to go into autopilot...BUT!!! When you switch it up and try something different, you are required to FOCUS...bringing you into a state of PRESENCE...And this is how we transform routine into RITUAL ✨ Adding intention to what you’re doing...even these seemingly minute tasks...

With challenge comes change, and so we shed light on the fact that we can CREATE NEW HABITS...by starting off with these seemingly small little exercises that actually help to rewire our neural pathways ⚡️

Check out day 1 of the challenge over on my private Snapchat where you get daily snaps of my attempts at the challenge...let this be your motivation and inspiration! (this month's username is: mayigetnude)

PS...who here has kept this going since last year??? I would love to know!

Let me know how you go...and get brushing!

With love,

Jessa

Pro level is brushing your teeth with your non master foot 😂

That’s one heck of a challenge (the brushing, of course 😌)

On January 3rd of 2020 my world changed forever. I broke my right arm (dominant arm) and I was forced to brush my teeth with my left hand. It was extremely awkward at first, but after a three or four times, I got used to it. The same went for doing most tasks with my less dominant arm. I think the zen 'presence' I felt was the most gratifying thing and I learned a new appreciation of my body working in coordination when I finally healed fully.
