It's hip to be square, but it's even hipper to share your thoughts on this week's episode!! (And be on the lookout for another incoming poll very soon!)

Are you gonna do Demi’s Tales from the Crypt episode? Not sure what other TV she’s done but that immediately popped into my head.

Important update: I tried a Baja Blast for the first time last week! I'm afraid I have to report that it... did not exactly quench my thirst. Frankly, I hated it; tasted like Smarties-flavored cough medicine. Sorry, Chris.

Trust that I use that 'Exodus Gods - and kings' cadence when talking about 90% of movies. And more sound drops!!! They're SUCH a perfect garnish to the show!!

I can’t believe you went through 2000 Best Actor and never arrived at Jamie Bell - when BAFTA got it right!

Two things: First, we *need* someone to make a sound drop out of Joe’s incredulous “What is Straight People?!?” line in this episode. Second, design expert Linus Boman did an excellent breakdown of the business card scene in this movie that is definitely worth a watch: https://youtu.be/QKc54z5SsEs

My first Reg E Cathy was The Mask! "The Doctor is about to Operate!"

In addition to musicians declining to release rights to their songs for the film, many fashion houses rejected the use of their stuff, including Calvin Klein and comme de garçons. Kind of iconic for the ones who did give the okay, like Gaultier.

A pulpy coconut milkshake sounds delicious.

An entire Christian Bale discussion without a mention of my favorite fun fact of all time, which happens to also have taken place in the year 2000: Christian Bale's father married Gloria Steinem. I know that Christian was already an adult, and his father passed away a few years later, but I have spent so much time thinking about this fact and wondering about their relationship. Is there a Christian/Gloria text chain? Do they buy each other birthday gifts? I have so many questions...

On Uk Netflix American Psycho was showing top of suggested to watch list. Is this because of the Gary’s rewatching?

1. The first Reg E Cathy I remember was The Wire 2. Christian Bale played the white supremacist rich guy co-villain of Shaft. Jeffrey Wright is the other villain 3. Has Chris tried Hard Mountain Dew? They do have a Baja Blast flavor.

To Joe’s defense, Mary Harron spent a lot of time in New York and still lives there now!

My first Reg E. Cathey was a Mac Wellman play in Central Park, directed by Mr. Sigourney Weaver. Audience on one side of Bow Bridge, actors on the other. Even from a distance and with no amplification, he left a mark. First movie I saw him in was SMALL CHANGE and felt like, "Oh cool! I hope he gets more gigs!" He did obviously. Side note: My best friend was in the chorus in the play. It was summer '89 and Sigourney would drop by rehearsals and mostly complain about movies being made from comic books because BATMAN looked like it was going to stomp GHOSTBUSTERS II.
