Love to have Mitchell back but I also remember the After Hours ep very well because the three of you were delighting in the goofiness of the To Leslie campaign… The night before Andrea Riseborough got nominated for To Leslie. We were living in better times then!

SPOILER ALERT for one of the films on Lukas Haas' "Known For," scroll away if ye haven't heard that... ... "This is something that I think people have gone back and tried to ride for and end up being like, 'It's just okay.'" Could you direct me to these people so that I can lecture them at length? But seriously, folks, I'm a little baffled at the idea of people *trying to* ride for MARS ATTACKS! and leaving thinking it's just okay - a totally plausible concept, I just have not heard of that happening with that movie, such a "love it or hate it" endeavor (and there is actually a middle ground with anything, it's just...a singular kind of movie). I loved it when I was 7, I love it so much more now, I've probably had my moments on social media of being annoying about loving it, it's a testament to American stupidity that it bombed - and I was hoping it'd be in the four right when Lukas Haas' name was mentioned.

“What if your daughter was dating mark wahlberg” is now going through my head to the tune of “why are there so many songs about rainbows”

I’m here for any and ALLLLL shade on a Walk in the Clouds. That movie was terrible. I’m still mad that my broke college ass actually paid money to see it in the theatre. And we saw The Goofy Movie that same summer.

Chekov’s Mouse!!!!! “She’s just throwing umlauts every which way.” — Chris on Kate Winslet’s Polish accent in Steve Jobs but also me if Sandra Hüller ever gets to have a successful Oscar campaign

Mars Attacks! is my favorite movie of all time. Reclamation hive let's go. "Indian War Whoop" needle drop in Asteroid City? Wes is among us.

I watched like 3 eps of Disclaimer but decided to read the book instead. Book was good, the show, well-shot it is, gives “great gowns, beautiful gowns”

My last comment was - as so very many of my comments anywhere are - about MARS ATTACKS!, so let me be a touch more on-topic: This film doesn't have to be as resonant and sharp as it is for me to say "I'd see SO many more of these, they should have made/been able to make SO many more of these," but it IS and...I'd see SO many more of these, they should have made/been allowed to make SO many more of these. One of the small group in the "should've been a series of movies but wasn't" club.

I’ve only seen stills of this film, so my only contribution to this discussion is… no man has ever been as beautiful on screen as Denzel circa 1995, and no man will ever be again. Ever. 🤤
